Her concern is understandable, because they certainly wouldn’t be watching him. Yet, he laughs, and shakes his head. It’s almost a little disrespectful how he snickers at her, sighing just a tad dramatically. 

“ Trust me, if he happens to get free I will know it. I’m fairly good at multi-tasking, ‘sides we can divert some of that firepower where it’s needed yeah? ” As he speaks a single feather falls from his wings almost as if by accident, landing precariously on top of the bound villain. Once it does, he waves at her to follow him as he starts to walk past her. 

“ Normally I’d fly, but since I have you helpin’ me out we’re gonna stick to the ground” He explains as he walks, not really rushed as he turns down an alleyway. Golden eyes glance around before another feather darts out, flying curiously around until it lodges itself under a pile of trash. Lifting it up, it reveals a hidden entrance of sorts. 

“ I need you to go down first - don’t worry I’ll cover you - and take this feather. Tell me if someone is there and which direction otherwise I can’t help until I’m down ” Offering a feather to her, he kneels down to quietly move the debris so he can yank open the door. 

turning her red eyes from the villain, she watches his feathers work. it’s quite interesting, she’s heard about what he can do with them, but seeing them for herself is another thing. it was cool. 

she blinks when he offers a feather. she takes it between her fingers and turns it over a few times as she looks it over with a curious expression. a moment later, she examines herself, trying to find somewhere to safely tuck it. she didn’t want to just shove it in one of the small bags strapped to her thighs in fear of crushing it. 

almost as if a light bulb went off in her head, she holds the feather out to the side and her tail moves up, wrapping around the feather securely. her eyes move to Hawks as she crouches down. “ okay. though we literally just met officially, i’m trusting you. “ waiting until he has the entrance open, she then disappears inside.

once inside, one thing was for certain, the place was creepy. it was dark and damp, but not overly disgusting. clearly actual hideout was further inside, obviously the first entrance wouldn’t drop them both in the heart of the place. in a hushed whispers, she says. “ it’s empty in the first area, i’m gonna head in a little further. “

Her comment earned a laugh from him, before he sobered down and sighed wistfully. “ Oh that’d be nice! But then we’d all have too many excuses to be lazy. Maybe someday ” He jokes, his hands busy as he restrains the wayward villain to prevent anymore escape attempts. 

“ Actually, if you’re not busy. This guy was headin’ towards a hideout of his. I don’t feel like buggin’ people for permission, so if you come with me I’d just be offerin’ help to the actual hero whose around here. Whaddya say? ”

“ busting a whole hideout? sounds good to me. “ she nods and approached the two. once close enough, one hand rests on her hip, while the motions to the villain. 

“ but what are you going to do with that one while we bust the rest? even restrained, he could still scurry off while we have our backs turned. but i could give him a reason to stay put.. “ she leans closer to the villain, eyes narrowing as small flames peek from the corners of her lips dangerously.
