ok so. since into the florpus has come out (!!!!!!!!!) ive been getting a lot more messages like this so. let me just uh. address this.

hello!! first of all!!! the outpouring of love ive seen for this fic has been incredibly overwhelming. ive been trying to stay dark, but i read each and every message and send them to my editor and all my friends and cry abt it constantly so thank you to everyone whos reached out to me. the concept that even one person, much less All You Guys, would read smth i wrote and like it so much has me dead in a good way.

so abt the fic. when i started writing it, i wanted to wait until i finished it to start posting it, which Obviously i did not do. i Should have tho, bc when j went to write the last chapter, i realized it was never going to come together the way i wanted it to. the plotline was too massive for how much i was flying by the seat of my pants writing it, and there were too many plotholes and things that were just not gonna tie up at the end nice. the other thing its really old. like crazy old. i am So Much better of a writer than i was two or three years ago, and looking at some of my old pacing and plotwork makes me die.

So ive been rewriting it. for quite a while now, actually. most of its been mapped out, and im trying to crunch out the word count i need to finish it in maybe a month. its still the same fic, essentially, and its still gonna hit all the same beats, but in my opinion its done a lot more artfully and makes for a better overall story. im sorry if you REALLY REALLY love the old fic, bc im going to be replacing the chapters soonish, but i really think this is done a lot better!!!
