Struck By Love

It was a normal afternoon in Bird Island  as Red was in his little home bored since their was nothing to do. He sighs softly as he work on a little home he has been working on since it helps him calm his anger and Matilda did suggest it in class, She wanted them doing what they enjoy the most to calm their Anger. Red enjoy that since he loves doing that the most. “Just a bit more their..nice and careful..” as he was almost done a loud knock was on the door making Red jolt and almost messing up his work. “Oh thank god…who’s at the flocking door knocking that hard?!” he says standing up and as he open the door somthin came in fast making red spin a bit. “RED BUDDY!” A familiar hyper bird who was jittery hugs Red close smiling making him groan and push him.“One you know I need my space…two What are you doing here Chuck?” Chuck is one of Red’s now closest friend who was a the fastest bird on Bird Island. Chuck smiled and walk around Red’s house a bit “Aw ya know I just wanna see what my friend is doing is all..seeing if their doing anything cool” Red rolls his eyes and goes back to his work.“Yeah actually it’s somthin Matilda told us to do which is do somthin you love to calm out anger..fact shouldn’t you be doing that as well?“He ask as he continue his little house."Well It it was difficult! I have many ways which is Chilling, Sleeping, Running, Working out but best of all hanging with friends!"He says walking around."Well I’m busy so please leave my house okay? I don’t wanna be bothered and annoyed” Red says in a bit of a anger tone. Chuck rolled his eyes and goes behind him and wags his tail fast.“Woah..you made that?” He ask making Red Jolt from his seat not knowing he was behind him as he almost mess up his work of art.“Yes! I did chuck now can you please-” As he can finish chuck grabs it and held it up and walks around with it.“HEY GIVE IT BACK NOW!” “Huh…I’ve never knew ya done this red..it’s actually amazing ” Chuck says as he moves around fast. Red tries getting his art back but chuck moving around he was getting pissed off"CHUCK IF YOU DROP THAT” “Red please I’m not gonna-“Before he can say anythin he trips over somthin and falls forward landing on the small little home. Red froze to what he saw as Chuck sat up grunting and looks at the Pieces broken and mess up. Chuck a bit shock for breaking Red art. He looks up at Red who had a shock of sadness and anger as he goes to his work."Oh…Red im-"Chuck was saying until  Red stood up."Get out…” “But Red-” Chuck was gonna say  somthin until Red push him to the door and push him out of his home and slams the door shut in front of him. Chuck heartbroken looks down and goes home. – Chuck was walking home alone in the kinda like dark day. He looks down softly feeling horrible for destroying what Red created just so he can calm his anger “I’m such a idiot…why would I ever do that” He thought to himself “I just…wanted to tell him..but me being the fast bird I am I had to flocking screw it up!” he sighs softly as he finally went upstairs to his home fast and goes inside.“Maybe I’m not ready to tell him…I bet he doesn’t like me back or has a crush on me” Chuck liked Red for about a while now. Ever since he came to class and help him saved the eggs from the pigs, he couldn’t help but enjoy that fun..fact as they did that he soon started to develop a love interest. He wanted to tell him but was very much of a wimp to tell him in person, he has a feeling that Red would not like him or think Red would think that he’s gross for being who he is. Nah he couldn’t..but again he could. Chuck was so confuse about it as he lay in his Hamrock thinking about it. He rocks himself side to side gently looking up at his celing. He just wanted so bad but he was to nervous. After a few minutes, he sighs softly"Maybe…he doesn’t work that way…maybe…he’ll hate me” as he says that he saw light from out side making him jolt a bit. Confuse, the Chuck walk a bit fast to the window and scans the sky fast. Nothing at first until he heard a loud boom in the sky. “No…please no..I-I-It couldn't be…"Chuck moving back fast trembling saw lighting come down with a huge roar of a boom was heard. Chuck yelled and ran and hid in his Hamrock and under his blankets shaking uncontrollably. His heart was beating fast and he couldn’t stop shaking at all, Chuck hated Lightning worst than he hated rain. He wouldn’t mind if it rain if their was no thunder at all…this was not his day. Chuck slowly tear up and cries softly scared like he was going to die.“W-why…why come n-n-now..”*he sniffles and clutch himself trying to control but couldn’t as soon he heard another boom which made him cry worst. “R-Rain…rain…go away…c-come again another day..Rain..rain..g-go awa-"Before he can finish and another flash came with a loud boom making him yell in his pillow cluching his eyes and pillow softly crying worst."P..plese…please go away…"He sob uncontrollably in his pillow. He wish somebody was their to keep him safe. He wanted somebody to hug him and tell him he will be okay. He wanted to cuddle with them. That was until he heard a knock on the door. –[A hour ago]–

Red was frustrated with little project being ruin. He work on that for a good three days on that and was almost done. "Stupid chuck..touching my things..and I told him not to touch it!” he says grumbling as he picks up all of it. Just looking at it in his hands..he remembers somthin a while ago, when he first came to Anger Management class. He remembered that he did destroy Chuck’s weird friend Billy that ment close to him very much and Red himself being hot temper destroys the fake bird and tries to put it up. Him thinking about, he realize that he must of created that weirdo longer than his little boring home.“Ugh…I’m a dame idiot..great now I gotta go-” Before he can say it he saw light outside and goes to a window and looks up.“Aw don’t tell me..” He said in his annoying way as he saw lighting come down with a loud boom. “Yup..a thunder storm.."He groans and grabs his umbrella gently and opens the door and see the rain pouring hard."Still gotta do it..even tho he’s a annoying guy…and it’s raining out here.” Later he walks to Chuck’s house looking down at the ground gently as he walk in the rain. He kept thinking about Chuck but he isn’t sure why. Yeah it was guilt..but it was somthin more, deeper..Red remember when he first met him in class and thought he was a annoying bird who talk to much. He talk to much, he was fast about anything and was annoyed when he kept talking about billy. Not until he got to know him more often when Himself chuck and bomb save the eggs and going to class everyday. He thought he was…cute? Adorable? No…no why is he thinking about him like that. Chuck can’t like guys right? As soon as he day dream he heard another loud boom of thunder was heard making him snap out of it.“Woah..I gotta hurry they before I get struck."He says asighs softly as he rush to Chuck house. As he arrived looks up at the high tree Chuck lived in and he goes up the stairs fast but soon felt tired since he lives very high up the tree"Geez…how does Chuck live like that” He huffs as he  goes to the door gently. He was about to knock gently but couldn’t do it. He was worried what he would say to him. How he yelled at him he thought he would hate him. He shook his head.“No…I gotta do it” He takes a deep breath and knocks on the door. –[Now]–

Chuck heard the knock on the door and looks up fast. His heart beating twice as fast and his body trembling more. He wanted to get up but was to terrified to even leave under his blankets. Another knock again. He sighs shaky as he stands having wobbly legs as he goes to the door softly and puts his hand on the knob. Gulping he turn it quickly and ran to his Hamrock again hiding. Red notice and turns it.“Its open?"he thought. Opening the door confuse, he looks around but not see Chuck around at all. "Chuck?” He says gently. He looks around as he sees his Hamrock moving a bit.Red slowly goes to it and hear small wimpers from it. Grabbing the sheet along with a loud noise of thunder making Chuck yell and Red jolt and step back and falls back. “OW!” He grunts and rub his head and Chuck sat up fast.“CHUCK WHAT THE F-” Before he could finish he looks up at the poor finch’s look. Chuck was crying alot , his body couldn’t stop shaking and he looks at Red with sorrow eyes.“R….Red.."He sniffles softly and Red stands fast and goes to him. "A-are you okay?! What’s the matter?” He ask in a worried tone and held his arms. He felt him shaking still and looks at him. Chuck crying and hugs Red really close crying.“I…I…I’m sc-scared..” He say softly. “Why are you scared? Nothing is scary Chuck.” Red Told him as another Thunder came down making the room very bright and a loud boom making Chuck cry worst and wimpers. Red looks and finally understands fully now why chuck was so scared. “Chuck?..Are you scared of…thunder?” He ask him softly. He didn’t answer him at all but held him tighty. “I guess that’s a yes huh?..” Chuck nodded softly not even wanting to say anythin. He felt safe in Red’s arm. He was still scared to death but he calm down and Red notice.“Are you okay?” He ask gently looking at Chuck. “Y-Yeah..Thank you.."They let go of the hug and look at each other. Chuck moved softly and pat gently for Red to sit in the Hamrock with him and so he did. For a good few seconds  was quite as the rain was still going harder and harder."How long were you afraid?..” Red ask him.“S-Since I was a Hatchling. I would always sleep with my mama when it happen.."He looks and rubs his arm softly. Red nod softly and looks at the window. So you’ve been sleeping alone when it’s a thunderstorm huh?” Chuck nodded softly and sniffles wanting to cry again “I-its hard Red…It really is” He streams tears and sniffles and he felt Red grabbing his face and wipes his tears softly. Chuck blush softly as he look at Red’s stern face, he look so.. cute with his brown hazelnut eyes looking at him back. Red notice and looks away quickly and blush softly not showing it since..well, he’s red. “This once…okay?” Chuck was confuse and looks at him.“H..Huh?” He ask as he looks at him softly. Chuck was confuse, what did he mean as this once? As he think,  Red held Chuck’s hand softly and he blush more.“I’ll stay with you..for the night ” He says looking at him gently. Chuck beak went to a sad face to changing to a huge smile and hugs him close. “THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!” He says happily as Red Grunt.“Get off me…right now.” He says as he let go fast.“S-Sorry!” he says and looks away nervously. Red sighs and pat his head softly meaning it’s okay — It was still raining outside as the whole day their was few thunder here and there. Both Red and Chuck lay on the Hamrock together as Red held the shaking Chuck under his wing. They both were queit as the Hamrock moved side to side gently.“H - Hey Red?"Chuck wispers softly. He turns to him."Hmm?” He says looking down at him. “Why did you..come here..” He ask as Red looks down and sighs gently.“I wanted to apologize..I shouldn’t got mad at a dumb little project I did..you did way much work billy and I knew you cared for that…wooden…bird…thing..so…I’m sorry for yelling at you and kicking you out of my house."He says softly and looks away. Chuck looks and looks down and hugs his side close making Red jolt and looks fast."Red…I forgive you… I would have no matter what..but I’m sorry for touch your things…I-I-I didn’t mean to destroy it..” Red looks at the yellow finch gently. He would of yelled to say let go of push him..but he accept it this once. As another Boom was heard Chuck wimpers and held him close shaking again. Red looks and sighs gently and hugs the bird back close to his chest and rubs his head.“Its okay Chuck…don’t worry…I’m here..” He said softly and kiss his head gently. Chuck froze and looks up at him. “H…He kiss me…"He thought happily.he thought gently smiling. Red blushing hard and looks away. "I-im sorry!! I-i didn’t mean to-"Before he could finish Chuck shut him up and kisses his beak lovingly and in the most passion way. Red blush a deep red as Chuck was kissing it. It soon finally broke and the look at each other gently. "I…..I’m sorry…I’m just couldn’t hold it longer.."Chuck says looking away fast. Chuck felt like he was going to get punch in the face or yelled at, but Red hug him close with a soft smile."I loved it.” He says as he lays back down with Chuck on his chest.“R…Really?” He ask and Red nods gently. Chuck smiled happily and nuzzle Red closely. “Night Red” Chuck smiled gently.“Night Chuck” He said as they drift to sleep. As the lighting hit outside with a boom or loud light, Chuck didn’t wake up..only because he felt safe..once again by his lover Red.
