i dont think i would be able to find the post but there was a theory floating around that Medic's area of focus was veterinary sciences rather than human medicine and i think it... tracks uncomfortably well

considering his habit of frankensteining animal parts into his human patients. He demonstrably has a pretty extensive familiarity with animal biology (maybe even more than people lmao?!)
