“Well, they’ve had some shitty ones. Last year, I wasn’t here for it, they uh, they had to face their fears. They also made us camp out in the woods for a week and there was a haunted house one. The haunted house one wasn’t too bad.”

Cher smiled when she saw Ian waiting for her and waved to her teammates. “I’ll see you lot later.” She said to them and kissed Ian’s cheek and walked with him. “I don’t even know the last time I’ve been to a picnic either so it’ll be nice.” She said. “That’s good to know that everything is ready because I am so hungry!” She laughed and thanked Ian before getting into the car.

“I actually really enjoyed this challenge and I hope we do another one, though I was honestly just looking forward to our date.” Cher laughed. Cher buckled up and smiled at Ian. “I enjoyed our last date too. We should keep going on them.”

“Maybe we can do an escape room with a group of people?” Ian suggested to her and smiled at her. “I like these dates too, and I agree. We should keep going on them. In fact, we should make us official.” He stopped at a red light and glanced at Cher. “I mean, if that’s okay with you.”

Yes, I’m married. Yes, I am getting a divorce. Am I a hypocrite? Probably yeah, but what’s not going to happen is you bashing me for doing something because I fell in love with someone.
