(I can't believe I have to make another post about this because I wanna let this stupid shit go but grown adults are sending me bullshit about things I apparently still haven't cleared up so HERE YOU FUCKING GO, STOP SENDING THREATS NOW, THANKS!)

Admittedly still bugs me how some of you claim I blew it out of proportion lol. The fandom is very well known to have been uncomfortable or even feel triggered by the proposed concept (not saying what it is because I really don't wanna talk about it further, it's over now!) so to say I, someone who tried to just keep the conversation restricted to their comments and 100% would've just been okay if they removed the post knowing how it came off to the fandom, blew it out of proportion... Eugh. I get it, it's not technically illegal (albeit does mirror real life crimes.) But I think me making a post addressing it for the majority of the fandom who would feel extremely uncomfortable seeing it if they found it in the tags themselves isn't "blowing it out of proportion". The pairing *bordered* extremely immoral things. And regardless of what you think of consent ages and what-not, I'm sure it should be obvious why I'd want to warn the majority of a fandom who is known to be uncomfortable or triggered with this concept about the concept being proposed in the tags. The fact that the only thing making it "moral" is the fact that they were aged up should understandably make MANY people feel extremely uncomfortable. And the fact that someone would want to alert the fandom to protect anyone who may be reminded of real life cases so they can block the user shouldn't be seen as something blown out of proportion. I don't wanna engage with the person or anyone in support of this pairing but the fact you guys believe I wanted anything done to them for their concept is weird as fuck. I want to keep this fandom, known to feel reasonable discomfort with the pairing, away from the content that would make them feel horrible.

The word "pedophilic", whether you believe it or not, would go with the pairing if it weren't for that single "aged up" thing. And that's what got a lot of people feeling extremely uncomfortable. Hence my usage of the word (to describe the pairing - not the PERSON WHO POSTED IT, for those of you who're illiterate and claim I called them that.)

I don't even wanna be saying this but there's grown ass adults still sending me nasty stuff in their defense. I guess that's what I get for DARING to say anything about an account with more popularity than me. I genuinely don't give a fuck about what they (person who posted it) do from here. I don't want to invade on them and you guys should rightfully have the same ideas about me, but holy shit... Grown ass ADULTS. ARE SENDING ME INSULTS AND THREATS. Calm the fuck down. I did not stab them with a knife. I made a post letting the fandom know (known for discomfort with a pairing) that the pairing was supported by them. And if they wanted to block them, they could. That's it. I do not want you guys to fuck around in their space saying a load of bullshit like you're doing with me, although it seems people on my side aren't giving them that treatment judging by their posts... Which is good, but it says a lot how their side is really loving to send little kids weird ass messages like "I know where you live" lol. I assume they don't support these messages being sent to me, but... Still. It says a lot. Leave me alone. And those who don't support them, leave THEM alone if you haven't already. I made the post for you to block them if the pairing made you uncomfortable, not send them anything nasty.

Speaking of niche interests... I have this weird special interest for aviation disasters, specifically within commercial aviation (although I can name a few ones that weren't commercial). I LOVE learning about them and I can recognize the vast majority of them by description, or even the impact it had on the industry. I've learned all these words to describe the controls of a plane or the anatomy of a plane. Words/terms that hardly come up in people's lives are words/terms I remember or hear weekly, such as "hypoxia", "explosive decompression", or "GPWS". I know the procedures they do at the sites by memory.

Autism is one hell of a thing isn't it... Such a scary topic for most but I'm just like "hell yeah"

Remember guys: if no one loves your piece of media, there will always be an autistic person who does. There isn't a single media out there, no matter how old or niche, that can escape the grasp of some random neurodivergent. Whether they're dyslexic, schizophrenic, autistic or any other form of ND... They will find it and they will obsess over it. It may take a bit but they will get to it.

Clearing things up for the Rebellion that I don't think would be cleared up through natural dialogue that some people may not come to the conclusion of while reading

(SPOILERS FOR REBELLION OBVIOUSLY)

- XWSI10 is not 500 pounds OR 220 pounds. Both are false guesses made by Hoagie. XWSI10 is 438 pounds.

- it mentions in the text that Hoagie started self harm after Wally's alleged death, but people got confused when it said his grandmother called him selfish after finding out about it. To clear it up - one operative at a time is allowed a two day vacation back on earth to visit family. They almost never take it due to dedication to their goal, but Hoagie ended up going back twice to destress. One of those times, his grandmother found out.

- Chad didn't know Wally was XWSI10. The person he saw being dragged was only seen as a silhouette due to the poor lighting of the jail area, but he eventually realized after the "big reveal" that the person being dragged was Wally prior to the curse which messed him up a bit as mentioned in chapter 13. He also couldn't remember any distinguishing features when he was forced to surgically attach the shock collar because the curse had already mutated every part of him that would allow distinction. Because he abandoned the whole thing at that moment, he never got the chance to find out more. I thought I cleared this up with an old drawing where he asks who the mutated specimen is, but apparently I didn't. Also - Chad assumed XWSI10 died during the collar surgery until seeing him in chapter 1 which is why he wasn't mentioned to the Rebellion. He explained it a bit off scene but... As said prior, he didn't know much more than what the rest of his team had already inferred.

- Lizzie also didn't know Wally was XWSI10. She tried to stay away from him. Not only that, but she didn't realize XWSI10 was a mutated operative until an off scene conversation with Nigel after XWSI10 and Hoagie were rescued after Nigel complained that he just lost the most aggressive operative he could think of.

- Hoagie was the ONLY one who didn't realize Lizzie was an alien until chapter 5, just because everyone thought of it as unspoken truth. They never said it around him because Lizzie was insignificant at that point in time and felt that information was useless, especially to say out loud.

- Lizzie's shock bracelet was removed off scene by Chad, moments after she boarded the ship. Obviously they learned their lesson the first time...

- Rachel's papers aren't being tossed about because they're held together by piece of GKND tech built specifically to keep stacks of papers from flying around during space travel.

- Chad's description of Wally's organs is the correct one. Nigel's is false, as he's going off what the curse *USUALLY* does to the organs when transformed back. A split kidney and enlarged bowels are the typical. However, actual xrays of Wally show that he's missing an entire kidney, his bowels are *shrunk* not enlarged, and his bladder is the one enlarged. It isn't mentioned in the text, but his stomach is abnormally shaped and all other organs are slightly smaller than usual. Other changes occurred in various parts of the bone structure. Nigel wouldn't have possibly known the true problems with his organs as he wouldn't have been capable of receiving an xray of Wally after the curse was lifted as much as possible.

I loooove the DCFDTL!!!!! And also, I love DCFDTL fans. Y'all are always my favorite knd fans.

I have a lot of thoughts about them, I'm not gonna try to say everything I think in this post.

I will say, PERSONALLY I find them as the DC much more interesting than them as Sector Z and I think that puts me in a specific category of DC fan. I do really like the idea of them recovering eventually, but I wouldn't want to see them just becoming Sector Z again. What we experience in life, both good and bad, changes us. You can't go back to being who you used to be, you will forever be moving forward. The DC should be the same way- As they recover, they would have to find out for themselves who they are now. Not Sector Z, not The Delightful Children, but their own, new people. That's what I want to explore most of all.

When they are the Delightful Children, they are such achingly tragic characters, all I want is happiness for them!! But what they represent in terms of the shows themes and messages is so strong and so important to KND as a show- In terms of "the oppressed trying to be more like the oppressor to get preferential treatment, which does not work" and "the neglected and emotionally abused child who conforms for the sake of their own safety" AND "continuing the cycle of abuse"

But this is also what makes it so, so wonderful when we get to see little moment of the DC being.... an individual? I know thats a contraction in itself- but I mean, when we get to see a hint of what they're like and what they do when they aren't trying to destroy Sector V. That toenails scene in op FUGITIVE is the best example. They're just being weird little kids. I love that! I want more of that! Let them have weird hobbies and things that bring them joy.

I guess that's what I'll say for now!

I don't remember the specifics of what you're referring to, but you're probably referring to a headcanon that my friend @eltube came up with and then I adopted it.

Which is basically that the addictions presented in canon should be considered seriously. With Hoagie, we see them openly struggle with substance abuse (chocolate sauce) and we also see them participate in the trade of another addictive substance (soda, which is a stand-in for alcohol). I don't know that I think Hoagie has an addiction to actual alcohol when they're an adult, but more of just that Hoagie is someone who does struggle with addiction in general.

When Hoagie is an adult, I think that will actually look more like when someone is a "recovered addict", which is a very specific thing. It's different than not being an addict at all. People I have known who struggled with substance abuse and have since gone clean described to me the way in which they STILL struggle with those urges, especially when times are hard. (and to be clear, since im on the subject, no one is a failure or a bad person if they relapse. addiction is not a moral issue.)

As for the second part of your question, does anyone else deal with similar things, yes: Abby. Again, this is a case where we kind of see hints of substance abuse in canon, with sugar in particular (op LICORICE is a great example). She seems like a "functional addict" in the show, but that's a phrase that I feel diminishes what that person is going through, so I don't like it but I don't know what else to call it. As she grows up, I imagine Abby also gets a handle on it like Hoagie does, but I don't think she'd ever quit sugar completely. That would make me sad, to be honest. Cuz while the addiction narrative does exist there, her love of sweets is such a fun interest and clearly makes her happy in ways that defy that narrative (because its not really one-to-one)

That's my thoughts on that, I guess!

I've said it once but I'm gonna say it again because this is canon in my mind and is self projection

When Hoagie became a teen he got really fed up with all of the fat jokes and the people hating him or mocking him merely for his fat and started neglecting to eat to make it all stop. Literally EVERYONE noticed because he'd deny every single offer to eat out, even if it was his favorite food (which came with a very distressed facial expression when he'd decline). Abby would try to make him eat but he'd just go and vomit it out secretly as soon as he was out of sight that she didn't find out until his first hospitalization. He ended up in the hospital and they found that not only was he neglecting to eat, but he was also dehydrated because he was almost completely refusing to drink worrying it was somehow the reason he wasn't loosing anything. Surprise surprise the kid looked shriveled as hell and was dangerously pale, but was still fat. After a while of being on a tube he got out from the hospital and was like, "okay, that didn't work, let's try something else" and started fasting + exercising to dangerous amounts. Once again, he shriveled up and ended up in the hospital with 3 dislocated limbs and a broken leg. It took forever to heal from the injuries because of the fasting and he suffers from chronic headaches now. After the second hospitalization he gave up trying to loose weight but still felt lots of body dysphoria. To make things better, with lots of love and care from his partners he learned to love his body after a year (although still with some worries about it) and advocates for body positivity in media so other kids never feel the way he did, especially because what he did in response could've ended his life

Hoagie doesn't become a full blown furry (he tries not to engage with the fandom and wouldn't make/wear his own suit) but he's definitely fine with the label considering he draws himself a fursona as a young adult. Being autistic, picking up various animal traits and having related more to animals than most people led up to this and really no one is surprised when he agrees himself to be a furry. Especially not Wally or Abby who know from experience that he headbutts people for attention and *really* likes having his hair combed through, not with an actual hair comb but with their fingers- you know... Like petting a dog. *All* of his animal traits are basically dog traits. Are you shocked his fursona is a dog? You shouldn't be. That's a golden retriever disguised as a They/He engineering specialist. Don't tell anyone, but Kuki is just a black cat disguised as a trans girl. Not the stereotyped black cat, the ACTUAL black cat that can't live without their favorite person and naturally sweet and gentle. Together they're the "animals in human suits" duo who would rather be around animals than most humans. And would cry if they were forced to do customer service.

LAST POST ON THIS because some of you actually believed it when Torra flipped their shit and tried to twist everything around like a five year old who got caught taking from the cookie jar

- I did not directly call Torra a pedophile and if I somehow did I apologize. I used the word "pedophilia" to describe the creepy age gap. That is NOT calling them a pedo. That is calling the PAIRING pedophilic in nature. For someone who claims they don't want their words twisted, you sure do it a lot to other people!

- I didn't even WANT it to escalate it to a call out post/warning to the fandom. A matter of fact, I tried to avoid that by commenting on the original post questioning some things that I could've explained further had they not decided it would be completely appropriate and mature to make a whole passive aggressive POST (now deleted and rather incorrectly) dissecting my comment instead of debating it calmly with me. Every person in this fandom who has EVER had an interaction with me where I question their thoughts knows I'm never trying to work against you if it's clear you wish to learn and be educated as to how what you said made some people feel, or how it may of come off. They responded to me in a very immature way that showed they didn't want to have the debate - and the call out post went up for the vast majority of the fandom who obviously want to avoid such content.

- I never implied they were shipping the two as minors. I have tried VERY hard to acknowledge in these posts and make it clear that I know exactly what they're saying and them being "far into adulthood" doesn't change the immoral factors. "BuT tHe LaW sAyS-" the law banned abortion. I don't think you should base your morals off the law.

- Torra tried to backtrack on the whole shipping thing by claiming it was, "just a proposed dynamic" and "not even a ship" or something along those lines. Considering this is still on their profile (with underlined text to call out their lie for those who might have trouble finding it) it's really bold to try and come back like that.

Even if you don't directly ship them, obviously you proposed the idea in a positive light. THAT'S what people are mad at you for. And it shows right here that you proposed the idea to be "cute". Also while admitting you knew the gap was 4 years (possibly 5-6 if you count the gaps within lore knowledge because we can't ever know for sure unless given official information that proves it wrong!)

- Torra is 31. That is DOUBLE MY AGE. I really think it should say a lot that they've decided to blow this whole thing out of proportion since the very beginning despite me really only wanting to educate about why the romantic pairing is still immoral. The vast majority of people obviously agree with me on it, and I've even changed the opinions of two people who originally sided with Torra after explaining why it was immoral. Torra is handling this poorly, to say the least. I mean... Directly tagging my user in a post that goes absolutely HAM on me trying to back down on things and twist the situation (which didn't NEED to be a situation!) is so incredibly immature I can't even believe they would have such guts for it. I'm sorry for calling you out on something the entire fandom is uncomfortable with for moral reasons but YOU decided to hand me a passive aggressive "I stay right where I stand" response. Warning the fandom about the "dynamic proposal" you had in the tags knowing that the entire active fandom would feel uncomfortable or even TRIGGERED if they saw your post shouldn't sound crazy or bad to any normal person lol.

- some of you are gonna be peeved at me for this one but I am NOT mad at Torra (for the most part... As long as those death threats I've gotten weren't supported by them) and I'm actually hoping they get their act together and just... Own up to it. I literally wouldn't care if they just got up and said, "okay, I've educated myself and I no longer support the pairing". As much as I would have preferred they'd have done that from the start, it's not like people can't fix themselves later on. I doubt they'll wanna because they seem very grounded with their idea but I've got hope for it.
