Yeah but the first week of school tends to be the easiest since there’s not really much work, just boring lectures from the teachers about the rules and expectations of the classroom.

Arlene: felt as though it had been months since she saw Hunter. Which was funny considering she was even living at his house. But now that he was finally coming to see her, she was more than thrilled. The second she saw him made her heart flutter almost. If that was even possible. She instantly threw her arms around him pulling him in for a hug. "I've missed you too." Arlene said while letting herself bury her face into the crook of his neck. How she had missed being close to him.

Hunter: wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her body closer to him as they hugged each other. He rubbed her lower back gently and just got lost in their embrace. He couldn't believe he had been so stupid for so long and stayed away from her. Arlene was his best friend first and he should've been there for her. "Let's go inside and talk," he said as he slowly pulled away and took one of her hands as he led them both inside.

grace: you... have seen jonah, right? of course girls are all over him. yeah, i get it, i chose this, but i did it out of necessity, not cause i wanted to or i thought it'd be cool. my mom was struggling and she has no one else but me, so i had to help, and a part time job doesn't pay that well. i did what i had to do, not that you'd ever understand. yeah, okay. i just hate that our situation sucks. that /my/ situation sucks.

hunter: yeah, he's a total babe.. but you didn't think about the long term effects of this, grace. like what happens when you get enough money and you don't need the gang anymore? they're not just gonna let you leave. you're gonna be doing this for the rest of your life or until you're dead. did you think about that?

grace: this sounds shitty, but i can't watch him be with other girls and be happy without me. it's selfish, but it's how i feel. and wait instead of doing this shit? like getting kidnapped and tortured? cause i totally planned that, yeah, for sure. i do spend every fucking moment i can with her. watching her die sucks. makes me wanna die with her. you can't say anything about yourself? alright, hunter. sure.

hunter: how do you know he's with other girls? oh, come on grace you know that's not what i meant. you wouldn't have gotten kidnapped or tortured if you didn't CHOOSE to join a gang so don't give me that "woe is me" crap. and i've already told you how i feel about you so do i really need to repeat myself? it doesn't do either of us any good.
