She sat by the tree that straddled between the borders of heaven and hell, her eyes closed as she tried to meditate on summoning her wings without the pain.
Not that it was easy.
With a grunt, her luminous blue wings erupted from her back, shuddering from the pain as they quickly disappeared. Dove was frustrated, but she knew if she didn't keep practicing, nothing would change. Her hackles rose as a new presence appeared, taking refuge behind the tree while trying to see who it was. The energy was similar to Gabriel, but there was something different about it....
Remielās spiritual energy was still powerful ā that could not be denied. But the purity and hope it had once carried and even inspired had long waned alongside Remielās own faith. There was an emptiness to him, something of which he was well aware.
So used to being kept shackled to his older brothersā sides, whether for his āown goodā or their own, he was unused to meeting new people. Sure, when he was let free to roam, even if temporarily, he would cross paths with other angels, but those were the ones with which he was already familiar.
However, he had managed to get further from his elder brothers this occasion, which afforded him the opportunity to encounter this strange being before him.
āA different faceā¦ā he mused, eyes setting on the person.

[ Remiel just sighs and pats Gabrielās head ]
No more than she usually does, I imagine.
[ barging in unannounced, frazzled ] REMI HAVE YOU SEEN MY HORN-

Like your manners for common courtesy of knocking, did you happen to misplace it?

OOC: appearance
Remiel is actually the shortest of his siblings. About a couple feet shorter than Lucifer, Remiel has spent a good chunk of his infinite existence enduring jeers and taunts regarding his height, though his rather apathetic rebuttal to such bullying usually deters any further jokes.
He has shoulder-length, wavy blonde hair, which he keeps pulled back in a ponytail, as he is too lazy to bother styling it.
His dimples and eyes are blue, though you will find several bags beneath his eyes, as he is often unable to sleep, due to a persisting case of insomnia.
Because he is a seraphim, he has three pairs of beautiful seraphic wings, though he doesnāt preen them as often as his siblings do their own wings.

I am only doing this because you are important to my brotherā¦and I do have some first-hand knowledge from observing you over the last thousand yearsā¦although you did make it difficult to watchā¦
Whatever. Adam does have qualities that are actually more than acceptable, by both mortal and angelic standards.
While he is arrogant and often narcissistic, he is admirably loyal to those he deems precious. Though one may not think, at first, second, third, fourth, and twentieth glanceā¦Adam does care deeply.
How do I prove to my friends that you're a cool guy? They both fuckin' hate you š
Uhhhh sucks for them, they have shit taste. Just tell them about all my great qualities

[ Remiel sighs, and leans back into his pillows. ] You have a point. Heāsā¦hopelessly spiteful.
[ He furrows his brow. ] But I have not taken your horn, Gabby. If I had, I would have left a note, daring you to find it, as I always would.

[ For all that the seraphim are creatures of their own origin, they truly do resemble birds. With such an affronted look, hair sticking up on his head, Gabriel really does look like a ruffled dove. ]
Did you think to ask Uriel? Or did you just come straight to me?
[ Remiel sighs. While Gabriel is bothersome with his need for attention, heās also one of the few siblings for whom Remiel actually cares.
He pokes Gabrielās forehead, right between his eyes. ]
Well?

While I understand that he is the King of Hellā¦and a Threat to Heaven (though I have yet to See what threat he could poseā¦), it is difficult to envision Lucy as anything but my dork older brother. The fact that he still singsā¦theatricallyā¦and almost unnecessarilyā¦only reinforces this image.

Maybe Uriel finally made good on his threats to turn your horn into a funnel for his coffee.
