I’ve said it before but there’s literally no reason to wait for special occasions to use nice things. If you like it, use it. I understand that sometimes the nice things are the expensive things and when it comes to consumables like cosmetics, candles, etc it feels wasteful to use it all up so soon. But like…you already spent the money. It’s yours now! You bought it for a reason! You wanted this bit of luxury in your life and now you deny yourself the joy of experiencing it? Always invite glamour into your days no matter how big or small. Use that soap, spray that perfume, use those plates and glasses, wear that bag, write in that notebook, make that “holiday” recipe on a random Tuesday night. Stop waiting until you make it to the big leagues to enjoy life’s luxuries. Enjoy them now and make it your standard.
