An Honest Review of the Hudson Project
Tumblr media
This past weekend I had the honor of doing press for the first ever Hudson Project Festival. Many believed Hudson was the replacement for what seems to be the now deceased Camp Bisco. Expectations were high and depending on what you were looking for, those expectations were either met or you came out disappointed.
We came in a bit late for media check in but we got our wristbands and were ready to head out. Little did we know I had packed a lot and underestimated the journey that it took to get to the actual camp grounds.
The way it worked is that if you had on-site parking you could park on-site and walk your stuff at most half a mile. If you had camp and go parking. You had to park AT will call, WAIT in line to take a shuttle to the Festival Grounds, get searched (I was lucky to not get heavily searched as I've seen them dissect everyone's stuff), and make another trip back to grab more stuff if need be.
Granted we pulled it off and got most of our things in one go. Once you got to the festival grounds however, you had to walk your stuff at least another half mile to get to the camping grounds. Luckily we took a festival cab (big golf cart) to lug our stuff in with the great price of 5$ per seat used. So I had to pay 15$ to get all our stuff to a suitable location. Once we set up camp it was meeting great people and fun from there.
Day 1
As someone working Media who had a photographer that received NO photo essentials, this was quite the bother. Especially when your "media" wristband only got you access to the media tent with outlets/lockers/and a somewhat private tent to conduct interviews. That was really it. Media wasn't allowed in the photo pits, side stages, or anything. So myself who usually dresses to look at least somewhat professional given the circumstance was forced to stay in a muddy area where half my time was listening to music and avoiding eating the floor. Aside from that lets break the music down.
Best sets of the day came from Keys 'N Krates, Bro Safari, Odesza, Lindsay Lowend, and Savoy. All 5 had the energy and with some track selection that captivated the festival crowd.
Worst set went to Excision who had the crowd energy because of his name but not the track selection that would have made go "wow".
Day 2
Day 2 started off a lot better since we were already set up. I went in for Kastle, Jaques Greene, Luminox, Tokimonsta, Big G, Kendrick Lamar, Moby, and Griz.
Kastle, Jaques Greene, and Luminox impressed me for their first times seeing them live.
Big G had gathered the first large crowd I saw at main stage during that time and had the whole crowds attention with their pure energy and dropping their own mashup of What so Not's "Jaguar" and "Tell Me" which had the crowd go wild. With the festivals first rain shower happening during their set. Big G took full advantage of the weather and had the crowd screaming as the rain drops fell on their heads and Big G just went louder and louder.
Tokimonsta was my personal favorite of the festival. While she didn't have the biggest crowd in the catskill cave, her set was deserving of one. With a stellar track selection filled with deep house, hip-hop, and trap. Jennifer Lee had the crowd at her fingertips whilst exposing new music to the festival goers. Tokimontsa took a risk, choosing to ignore whats hot in the festival scene right now, she went and put on a sort of musical journey for those lucky enough to see her set.
Kendrick Lamar and Moby put on shows that everyone expected to give. Nothing really ground-shaking from my perspective but still okay set to be honest.
Day 3
As I'm writing this, there are still most likely hundreds of people still stuck by the festival site. To those who still are, I wish you the safest of travels and I hope you all make it back home.
Anywho, I woke up and had gotten my stuff ready to bring back to the car because I didn't want to get caught in the rain. It was ultimately the best move I could have made. I came back to the festival grounds to see a bit of lunice before heading back to hang with friends. A little bit after Lunice's set. The festival had been put on suspension due to inclement weather approaching.
People were recommended to return to their cars and could return to the camp sites after the initial storm had passed. Whilst those who returned to their cars retreaded back. I was part of the few that stayed. A little bit of rain can't hurt anybody right? The storm had came and the rain had piled up on hills people were camped on. Those who were on the bottom were ultimately fucked. Camping supplies and even tents started drifting in the small rivers that were developing on the camp grounds and you had a lot of moments. This however wasn't fun for those who had left their stuff behind. Tents were slashed, whole campsites had gone afloat, and people were upset. The news got even more upsetting when people find out the festival shut down for good. This nearly started a riot in the Bronx camping site and chaos just in-sued.
Whilst many were still partying anyway, the festival organizers tried their best to set up shelter and get people out of the festival as best they could. However they weren't prepared for it. Those who came out to see Bassnectar (Because lets be real here a majority came to see him) were screwed over of not only their day of music but had wasted their money which is potentially hundreds getting to the fest and bringing stuff such as alcohol and food for it. The refund that Hudson will HAVE to give will not compensate for what people paid for to get there. On top of the struggle and pain that has happened from yesterday into today.
I could keep ranting on about the security, lack of preparation but those who went will repost this and add on to the shit on top of shit that went down this weekend.
Final Thoughts: The music of the Hudson Project was great. That's what I loved along with the BBQ pulled pork Sandwich.
What I didn't like was the following.
-Security: What i didn't like was that not only did people coming in have to go through AT LEAST 2 check points. Those caught and arrested were booked then came back. No simply throwing out drugs or anything. People were booked with felonies and came back. Which attributes to the corrupt justice system that we have but that's a rant for another day. Not to mention reports of cops rolling around the camp grounds during the storm and after it. They were STILL trying to bust people for drugs whilst attendees were struggling to gather their gear to head out. I thought the job of law enforcement was to protect and serve the public. Driving around in your quads while trying to bust people doesn't exactly protect and or serve the people.
-Camp site locations: Why weren't there any signs or staff present to warn people that camping in certain areas may result in a river taking your stuff away. This should have been a precaution day one. Not only was it a safety issue but hundreds of dollars worth of items were probably lost for some people.
-MUD CITY: Why did things have to get so bad that the red cross have to come and set up shelter? Why did people have to call tow trucks in to get their cars out? Why wasn't the festival more prepared for what was coming.
Final thoughts: Sunday was a catastrophe. A simple refund isn't going to be good enough for the people who attended. People left their camp sites behind because of how hard it was to leave. Hundreds and for some thousands of dollars worth of things were left behind. MCP, next time get your shit together and please be more prepared if this happens again. xoxo

Event Review: Icona Pop @ Santos Party House
I first heard of Icona Pop a few months back after a friend of mine who posted about how awesome one of their shows were. Knowing that my facebook friends have some great musical taste I knew I'd be in for something. After checking out what is possibly their most popular single at the moment ("I Love It"), I instantly fell for the two swedish girls and I decided to make it my mission to see them. I was lucky enough to catch them at both of their shows in NYC in the past two weeks and I can honestly say they have gone beyond my expectations.
First show being at Fashions Night Out in NYC at the Urban Outfitters in Soho with a small crowd of fashion enthusiast, rented speakers, and a single sound guy. Regardless of the somewhat last minute setup Icona Pop didn't fail to entertain the crowd with their catchy tunes and lyrics even as far as going into the actual crowd and dancing with all the fashion kids! The basement and stairs leading to the basement of the store turned into a club with everyone jumping up and down and singing the lyrics to "I Love It!"
Now we must move on to the big event.
Last Night at Santos Party House! Coming a bit late and missing the opening acts just because of course I spend hours at a bar racking up my tab to get myself ready for another night with my new favorite act. While it was or less the same set from Urban Fitters 6 days before it didn't matter. The crowd was loving it and so was I. What separates Icona Pop from the rest is the amount of energy the crowd gives them and the energy they give in return. The crowd interaction and just the "I Love It" life style they seem to live by made every second of their show just a constant flow of movement, energy, and fun. Ending their show with "Ready For The Weekend" which is now out on Beatport (hint hint) they came back out again for an encore and having the whole place move with one more round of "I Love It"
If you haven't seen them yet and you're by the NYC arena feel free to catch them during the CMJ music conference and at other venues really soon. Any dance music enthusiast or people who like to have fun (which should be everyone) MUST SEE ICONA POP NO QUESTIONS ASKED! I promise you won't regret it.

Interview with The Loops of Fury!
Joe-San here, and tonight I have a very special treat for all of you! I just finished a brief, but awesome interview with one of my favorite up and coming producers, The Loops of Fury! With support from big names such as Afrojack, Moby, Spencer and Hill, Joachim Garraud, and many others, including myself. The two Brisbane boys have gone from your average joes, to touring across the world in places such as Korea, Australia, and across the UK!
You may ask yourself "What makes these boys so different from everyone else in the game?". The answer is actually quite simple. Their sound hits HARD. Like someone smashing a brick over your head hard (In a good way of course). If you check out their original tracks or even their remixes over on soundcloud, you can hear the epic builds they put into each and every single one of their tracks and then BAM the raw electro sound comes in and drop kicks you in the face. Only for you to get back up and start jumping on the dance floor.
Yes. They are that good.
Lets get down to this.
So tell me where are you guys from and how/when did you start producing all these bombs?! (Tracks)
Jimi:  We're from Brisbane in Australia originally, but we're living in London now. So much more happening over here! We started out writing Jungle tunes together using tracker software on the old Amiga many years ago, so it all sort of started there. When we got a bit older we started playing as a live act, and now we're focused on writing singles for clubs and DJing. It's a lot of fun!
NSV: What were you guys doing before touring (career wise)? Did you expect yourselves to be as far into the EDM scene as you are now?
Max: I was working in IT and Jimi was a bike messenger. It was always a bit of a dream to be able to tour and produce and it's a really good feeling to finally be in that place!
NSV: How did it feel when big time artist/DJs like Afrojack and Moby started playing your tracks?
Jimi: Feels good! It's great that our tunes are being well received by a lot of the dudes we respect, and it exposes lots of different people to what we do so that's really cool.
NSV: What are your plans for the future? Any Festival or Club dates in the USA? Preferably in NYC ;)
Jimi: Not yet, but we'd love to come over!
NSV: Tour question! What's the craziest thing you've seen while playing a set?
Max: We saw a cat-fight in Milan, it was amazing. 2 girls swearing at each other in Italian and throwing punches and pulling hair - classic.
NSV: What has been your favorite gig so far?
Jimi: We played in Korea last weekend which was pretty sweet. It was opening night at a massive new club in Changwon, rammed with Korean kids in suit jackets and sunglasses pulling shapes. Was a pretty crazy party!
NSV: What is the "dream" festival/venue do you want at?
Jimi: Festivals are so much fun so I'd have to go with EDC or Glastonbury, or maybe Burning Man.
Max: I Love Techno for sure
NSV: What are your top 5 favorite tunes at the moment?

Moombahton & An Introduction
Hello Mortals. Allow me to introduce myself. I won't give you my real name but I will share my alias. UnoriginalMind is what they call me (but you won't so whatever). Any-who let's get down to it shall we?
So first off we have a track from JWLS. You may remember him from a post from last week, so I don't feel the need to explicate things seeing as it has already been done. This is his bootleg to Consequence's Hip-Hop jam "Whatever U Want" featuring Kanye West & John Legend. JWLS takes this and turns it into a Moombahcore (Sub-Genre of Moombahton) banger.
Consequence ft. Kanye West and John Legend - Whatever U Want (bootleg sample) by JWLS
This next track is something a little different for you see brave traveller we are going to listen to some MoombahSoul. Coming to us from Orlando, Florida we have Sam Koroitamadu better known in the game as BIGMAKK. With support from the likes of Toddla T & Heartbreak we can be sure that this cat is going to be huge in the scene.
BIGMAKK - Lady In My Life by BIGMAKK
For the final track of this horrible post we have an edit. Sent in by Randy Gonzalez some unknown kid from some place no one cares about. However what I can say about the kid is that this edit from him is quite the banger. Taking JWLS' bootleg of Nicki Minaj's "Did It On 'Em", Randy has turned it into something else. Take a listen!
Did It On 'Em (JWLS Bootleg) [Randy Gonzalez This Could Be A Moombahton Track Edit ] by RandyGonzalez
Want more from the first two artists? Just check out their Soundcloud pages. Who knows, you might just become a fan!

Review: Knife Party - "100% No Modern Talking EP"
So if you don't know already, Knife Party is the side project of Pendulum members Rob Swire and Garreth McGrillen. With a collaboration with the famous trio that is Swedish House Mafia, remixes for Porter Robinson and Nero, and nothing but amazing reviews of their DJ sets. Knife Party is shaping up to be nothing short of legendary in the current EDM scene! They just released their debut "100% NO MODERN TALKING" EP for free!
Knife Party - Tourniquet by Knife Party
First up with have Tourniquet a 128 BPM electro track (one of the three on this EP), the track itself in my opinion isn't the best on the EP but it still is a great track to start off a DJ set.
Knife Party - Internet Friends by Knife Party
Next up we have what is perhaps the most popular Knife Party track "Internet Friends", the vocals for this track are pretty awesome and unique. Seeing a crowd say "You blocked me on facebook and now you're going to die" is both a bit scary and exhilarating. Regardless, when the drop comes expect some EPIC bass! Keep an eye for the V.I.P version of the track though because thats when you'll start seeing hands in the hear and people head banging!
Knife Party - Fire Hive by Knife Party
My second favorite track of the whole EP and the only Dubstep track to boot! Fire Hive is nothing short of a sub killer, while hearing a bit of influences from all the dubstep greats. You can tell Knife Party has created their own unique "sound". Especially with the second build!
Knife Party - Destroy Them With Lazers by Knife Party
Here comes my favorite track of the EP! Destroy Them With Lazers has such an epic build to it that I'd probably start off any DJ set I would do with this track if I knew I could get away with it! Even when the build stops and you hear the words "DESTROY THEM WITH LAZERS" you can't help but rage after the vocals!
All in all I would recommend this EP regardless if it were free or not. Thank you Knife Party for the amazing tunes and the amazing job you did with this EP!
Tune in tomorrow for a very special surprise from one of our NSV producers!

Event Review: HARD x MOUTH TAPED SHUT presents Proxy + James Murphy + Bloody Beetroots (DJ Set)
We are back with our review of the "secret" HARD x MOTH TAPED SHUT show at Terminal 5, which featured some of my favorite acts such as Proxy and The Bloody fucking Beetroots!
We got to Terminal 5 a bit late because our stomachs needed some food to prepare us for a night that will require all of us to be in full "RAGE MODE". Once we were in however, we met up with the other members of NSV and started dancing to Proxy who was a little bit less then half way done with his set. Regardless, for the 50 minutes we watched and danced, he dropped some bombs! His remix of Digitalisms "Home Zone" sent out a clear message that we were in fact part of one of the biggest parties ever! Soon after he dropped his signature track "Raven" which made the whole venue erupt in a "HEY!, HEY!, HEY!" chant! Finishing up his set with his killer bass track "Dancing in the Dark", all of us established that this was going to be a night to remember!
However after waiting around for about 10-15 minutes James Murphy had been M.I.A and we all had gone to the rooftop for a cold yet relaxing smoke break. It turns out that James had equipment problems and apparently his mixer blew out. When we had come down though, his set from what we heard was top notch. Track selection and transitions were on point and it made up from the 30+ minute wait the crowd had to go through. After some  shenanigans with some of the other event attendees we went down finished ours second smoke break to see the main event. The.Bloody.Fucking.Beetroots!
Now I've personally only seen the Beetroots as Death Crew-77(Coachella and Electric Zoo 2011) and I didn't know what to expect from a DJ set. With a packed terminal 5 venue full of fans ready to dance/rage, the crowd EXPLODED when Bob Rifo and Tommy T started with their remix of The Whips "Muzzle No.1"! After that the crowd didn't stop jumping, the ladies didn't stop dancing, and the pits never stopped raging. Dropping signature tracks such as Dimmakmmunication, New Noise, and Cornelius the Beetroots did the one thing all DJs should do when playing infront of the crowd which was to Keep.Them.Moving. Among those Beetroots classics they were also dropping bombs such as "Epic", "Dr. Gonzo Anthem", "Babylon", the Moguai remix of "Push the Tempo", Dada Life's new track "Kick Out the Epic Mother Fucker", and the unreleased Skrillex track "Kyoto", the whole crowd by the end of their set was dripping in sweat. The best moment of the night however was towards the end of the set when the crowd stopped raging and fucking each other up during "WARP 1977" to uniting and jumping because of the Beetroots dropping the classic song "Shout!" by the Isley Brothers. We all had gone from raging against each other to jumping, uniting, and singing together!
This was single handedly one of the best nights of my life and I suggest that if you get the opportunity to go out and see a DJ set from the Beetroots. I swear to you that nothing will compare to what you will experience!
Shout out to HARD, Mouth Taped Shut, and the team behind the marketing of "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo"(out December 21st) for pulling off such an amazing event!

Event Review: JOACHIM GARRAUD + Spencer & Hill @ GIRLS & BOYS Dec 9
It's 12:36 PM on Saturday December 10th and I'm surprisingly not hung over! Lets get down to this shit. We arrived at Webster Hall at midnight with the NSV crew and surprisingly enough the Main Ballroom wasn't open to the public yet, so we rocked out a bit on the middle floor before coming up and seeing our favorite resident DJs, Alex English and rekLES; doing one of the best opening sets I've seen in a while. Shout out to you guys for never disappointing!
Around 1:30 AM we see Joachim and his crew of invaders come up on stage with free swag(hats, shirts, stickers and alien mask) for the crowd! I didn't know what to expect since I missed Joachim at Electric Zoo to see The Bloody Beetroots - Death Crew 77 instead. When his set started, nothing would ever prepare myself or anyone else for what went down. Opening up with The Loops of Fury remix of Be Strong by Elite Force, Joachim had successfully started his invasion of New York City. He had also dropped Calling(by Alesso and Sebastian Ingrosso) but to my surprise and I'm pretty sure everyone else's he pulled out his keyboard guitar and starting doing his own cover of it on stage. Which made EVERYONE go fucking NUTS! However when he dropped "Sandstorm", that's when we knew the invasion had been successful and we were all mind fucked! Closing out with the classic "Smack My Bitch Up" by The Prodigy, the invasion had been successful and all of Webster Hall was in awe. Let us not forget for those who were there that the Def Jam crew along with the always awesome Armand Van Helden were in attendance as well!
Next up we had Spencer & Hill who closed out the night with some amazing bootlegs, mashups, and their own originals!
Thanks to Alex English, Webster Hall, Joachim, and the rest of the G&B crew for making another memorable night! Tune in late tomorrow for our review of The Bloody Beetroots and Proxy at Terminal 5!
Highlight Track of the night!

Interview with Alex English!
We have a very special interview with Alex English for you guys & gals today! If you don't know who he is, he's a good friend of mine and one of my favorite people in the EDM scene right now. He's responsible for bringing the Girls & Boys(my favorite) parties every week at Webster Hall in New York City! So let's get started!
NSV: What kind of music did you listen to when you were growing up and how has it changed since then?
Alex English:  I grew up on classical music and pop radio. My first obsession was classical music,  then It was new wave, then industrial music, then techno, then UK Hardcore/ D&B, then house/ acid house, then IDM(Intelligent Dance Music), then indie/britpop, then electro, but today I listen to and play just about everything.
NSV: How did the Girls & Boys parties first start? Did you expect them to be as legendary as they are now?
Alex English:  G&B started in 2002 with a friend of mine.  We moved around over the years.   While we did some pretty big things in the past, it really didnt take off until the unique combination of myself, GBH and Webster Hall teamed. It's definately become larger than I expected, but I wouldn't call it legendary.
NSV: Now a lot of people don't know the work behind the scenes work for these epic parties. Care to tell the world how the whole process is?
Alex English: There's actually 3 of us. It's Kenny from Webster, Tom from GBH and myself. It's pretty straight forward... the 3 of us discuss what should go with what, how much to offer and how we are going to promote the event. We all have relationships with all the agencies, but I think I bring something unique to the mix because I'm not only on the business side. I also DJ and interact quite a bit with the artists.
NSV: Let us also not forget about Disko Dali! Your production duo with Dan Physics(as he goes by on facebook)! As far as I know the last thing I heard from you guys was your was your massive Derezzed(by Daft Punk) remix (Which if you haven't heard you can check it out on the soundcloud player below!) Daft Punk- Derezzed Disko Dali Remix by modemjak
From what I recall Tiesto actually played it in his podcast!
Tell us when/how this production group started, how did it feel to hear Tiesto play one of your tracks, and what's in store for the bloggers/DJs in the future?!
Alex English: Dan and I know each other from the techno scene. We have been friends for years.   disko dali was an IDM project I started in 2001 that really didn't go anywhere. Around the summer of 2009, Dan and I started talking about working together. I liked the name 'disko dali' , so we stuck with that.
I didn't expect to have the big summer/ year in 2011. That definately affected our production schedule. Between that and hunkering down and making sure GIRLS & BOYS had great bookings this fall. I really did not have time to give disko dali more attention. 2012 will be different. Dan & I will be working on some new things and finishing up some old tracks we had to shelf cause of my schedule.
NSV: So I have to ask.... What do you think about the whole EDM scene right now, in terms of its rise to "mainstream" popularity.
Alex English:  I think it's funny that alot of kids think this is a new phenomenon cause the first big "wave" peaked around 1997. If i remember correctly Fatboy Slim, Chemical Brothers and Everything But the Girl were making some pretty heavy news back then and even 2 of them getting Grammy nominations. I think it's an inevitable progression. I mean it happened to industrial music in the early 90s and THAT was the LAST genre i thought mainstream would embrace.    They even still have Hot Topics everywhere now. What I will say is that this time around the scene is NOT as fractured as it was in the late 90s. Both artist and fans are enjoying multiple EDM genres, you've got Porter Robinson and Deadmau5 doing dubstep tracks, You got Excision and Feed Me doing 4/4 electro tracks, and Alvin Risk is producing everything under the sun.  I think it's in a good spot right now.
NSV: What do you also think about the DJ scene right now? It seems like the times where everyone wanted to be the next big rapper or next big band has been replaced with people wanting to become the next big DJ!
Alex English: I think technology has definately helped move that along.   DJing is so accessable right now.   the internet has also helped the whole DJ explosion w/ the blogs and direct access w/ "how to" blogs/vids.   what's missing though is the code of ethics and etiquette that older DJs were brought up with.
NSV: Do you think DJing has lost it's skill? We have gone from vinyls, to CDs, and now we can use laptop programs or USBs sticks to do DJ sets. Along with the infamous "sync" button on most DJ programs.
Alex English: The way I see it is this... alot of the magic that comes from a DJ performance is riding the edge of having the perfect mix and/or it turning into the biggest train wreck ever. That tension to me is the key to pushing the DJ do his/her best. That risk of failing is a great motivator. Add to that time restraints that the track imposses and then you have to read the crowd and do this game of "you follow me and i follow you" I think alot of that tension is lost when using some technology. Since some DJs are better than others in one way or another... I'll boil it down to one element. If you have a song playing and all you do is chose the next song and you are not utilizing your time between transitions to add anything else into the mix (aka riding another track into it,   adding some effects, etc)  then what exactly are you doing up there?
NSV: Do you think there is still a market for people who DJ but don't produce music?
Alex English: I think that market is shrinking. It's def becoming more about producing, but then you fall into the conundrum of producer that dont know how to DJ.
NSV: Okay, time to get a little bit less serious and find out a little about yourself and what you see in the party life style that you live!
Craziest thing you've ever seen during a club night or DJ set?
Alex English: Halloween 2009. No one thought it would be a good idea to tell me that they were running electrical into the ONE power outlet inside the bathroom backstage. SMD(Simian Mobile Disco) was playing live. Door opens to the bathroom, all the sound shuts down mid song, and everyone scrambling around to figure out wtf happened.
NSV: Favorite alcoholic beverage?
Alex English: Stoli-o and soda
NSV: Worst experience with a fan?
Alex English: There was this one fan that was defiantly stalking me for a while. Defiantly some awkward encouters on stage at G&B.
NSV: Worst experience with a artist/DJ?
Alex English: Das Racist fucked out of their minds at Camp Bisco.
NSV: Most memorable experience at a Girls & Boys night?
Alex English: Mos Def offering me a "smoke"
NSV: Friendliest person you have had the pleasure in booking?
Alex English: Blatta & Inesha

Angger Dimas Kitchen EP
If there is one thing I can say about Angger Dimas(Nasi Goreng), is that he is perhaps one of my favorite up and coming producers right now. With support from the likes of Afrojack, Steve Aoki, and Laidback Luke, this indonesian has deserved all the hype he has gotten. His new EP(Kitchen) has finally dropped on Laidback Lukes label Mixmash Records, with the tactical nuke "Hey Freak!" and the sought after moombahton track "Kitchen" this EP deserves all the money it gets!

Tactical Nukes #1
Tumblr media
Joe-San here and welcome to the tactical nuke post. A weekly blog post where other writers and myself post tracks that we feel are beyond the word "bombs". These tracks that we post aren't necessary new but ones that we feel have been out of the loop in most DJ sets. So if you do sets be sure to keep an eye for these post so that you have your gems that will make the clubs go INSANE!
Proxy - Raven (Live Edit)
I don't know where to begin with Proxy, lets just say that his most notable track "Raven" has destroyed at festivals and dance floors across the globe. With this live edit it drops the the signature "Hey!" chant during the second build. For those who know what I'm talking about, the madness that ensues after the second drop is nothing short of spectacular!
Erol Alkan ft. Boys Noize - Avalanche (Religion Remix) by religion
Next up we have Religion with their AMAZING remix of Avalanche featuring two of my favorite people in EDM right now Erol Alkan & Boys Noize! Just wait for that drop and thank me later. Best part of this, is that this is a FREE DOWNLOAD! So go out there and support those guys with a like on their facebook page or even a follow on twitter!
Runnin' feat. Kwality by SYMONE
This track only screams one thing. HYPE! Symone released this under JFK's(of MSTRKRFT) label Teenage Riot Records. This track is something you would drop during a house party or a place where you know people are there to get down and dirty!
Bangkok by Boris Dlugosch
I remember Erol Alkan dropping this during Coachella 2010 and the crowd going absolutely NUTS! It's what I can call a fun track because it just makes people wanna get up dance around, jump, and all that jazz.
Bonus Tracks
Avicii - Levels (Cazzette's NYC Mode Bootleg Mix Edit)
Dada Life - Kick Out The Epic MOTHERFUCKER
Duck Sauce - Radio (Bastille Edit)
Sandro Silva, Quintino & Example - Epic The Way You Kiss Me (Hardwell Mash)
