A majestic view of a rain-laden cloud blasting hard. When many clouds gather in the sky in this way and their waters fall like this in the same place, here a phenomenon we call the Flood is formed.-
I naively thought that the skull in the Norman Chapel in Palermo really existed… ^^”
The floor at the Norman Chapel is actually plain, and the memento mori skeleton has been inlayed in post-prod, this is what you will see if you go to Palermo :
The picture probably takes his inspiration from the Skeleton Praying on the Marble floor of the Cornaro Chapel at the Santa Maria della Vittoria church in Rome :
That’s why Hannibal’s skeleton looks more wooing than praying ;)
Good old Bryan… Look at this old cracked tiling floor and see how beautiful he renders it in the show. Everything he touches becomes so aesthetic and feelingful !!
I’m sure everyone knows this already but anyway ^^
i see everyone talking about how lavender is symbolic for gellert and how it’s shown to represent him and his identity as a gay man throughout the films but why isn’t anyone talking about albus and how the 18th-century word ‘dumbledore’ literally means bumblebee and the well known fact that bumblebees love lavender
also fun fact bumblebees are attracted to lavender more than any other kind of insect or bee
i’m going so deep but note how gellert is always trying to ‘attract’ and draw albus over to his side in the film and on both occasions they meet (the date and the duel) he’s wearing the lavender tie
like did they really just give us a story about a bumblebee boy falling in love with a lavender boy and them being eternally bound forever yes they fucking did
