hello!! first of all thank you <3 second of all this is very hard to reply to because tumblr is very unpredictable but your posts not showing in the tags could be many things it's possible that you are shadow banned for some reason or idk how long you had this blog but sometimes with new blogs you have to like rb some posts so tumblr doesn't think you are a bot and so after that you can post and it will show up on the tags just fine! something people sometimes do and it kinda works is deleting some tags on the original posts and then add them again and sometimes the posts pops up in the tags again but if that doesn't work you unfortunately have to delete and post it again and pray that it does show up which is very inconvenient </3 but also in general since tumblr's algorithm is sooo good (note the sarcasm) there are times where posts disappear from the tags but miraculously appear again 😭 so yeah that question really has a lot of answers and it could be many things so i hope that at least one of these helps bc i've been a cc for a year and it's still confusing to me how this works?? like i said very unpredictable so i hope it helps you give some guidance at least

So… I’ll explain ✨my method✨ which might sound a bit paranoid tbh hahah I don’t know exactly what part of it is making it work but my posts show up like 95% of the time so something might be right hahaha

I’ll go into detail under the cut cause this might be long…

First, be aware of how you tag: Don’t go over 20 tags on your posts and don’t use overly long tags, there are also some words that are tag banned. Is hard to remember every single thing that won’t show up, so what I do is use only tags that are “important” for the post being found (the group name, members, networks, user tags…) and leave your own organizational tags and comments to self reblogs you might do later.

Don’t click post right away: I have nothing to back this out and say it has an effect other than personal experience, but When your post is ready, instead of clicking “post”, schedule it for a little later (it can be just a couple of minutes)

Don’t be on tumblr by the time you scheduled your post to be posted: again, nothing to back this out and say it has an effect other than personal experience, but if you schedule your posts for 10 be sure to be out of the website in all devices from 9:59 to 10:05 hahahah (when you schedule they might be late for a minute or two)

Check if it is on the tag: I normally check the group tag and/or the very last tag on the post -there’s a saying that only the first five tags normally work, so if your last tag is showing your post you are most likely good to go haha- If it hasn’t shown up and not many people have seen it yet, delete it and try it again with the same steps (you can change or take out some tags you think might be messing with it, if you added links it can also cause it to not show… but sometimes you don’t have to change a thing and it works fine the second or third time…. is a pain in the ass, but is the only way…)

The thing is, you can do all of this and not have it show up, or do nothing at all, throw caution to the wind, and when you look, the post is there…. The wonders of tumblr tags 😅 But hey! Don’t give up

tumblr tags are shitty and barely work :(( you can try a few of these things.

Self reblog your content so it’s on your followers dash from time to time!

you can try removing the custom url thing when you’re posting

you should use kpop/ svt related network tracking tags, they’re really good for exposure. Tags : #kpopco, #kpopccc, #malegroupsnet, # svtcreations, #svtsource, #svtdaily, #hourlyhannie (there are hourly blogs for each member)

there are also personal user tags of a lot of fellow CCs. like #ocora, #cheytermelon, #tuseral, #dreamytag, #shuaria, #planetboo, #wonranglee (me), #marahae
