Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) Strand Overview & Reasons Why Incoming Senior High School Students Should Study ABM

Pleasantries, readers! I am John Dave and welcome to my blog! I’ll be discussing the strong points as to why you should choose the ABM strand for your Senior High School journey.

Introduction

The Accountancy, Business, and Management strand aims to help students learn more by focusing on the fundamental concepts of financial management, business management, corporate operations, and all things accounted for. This track will assist you in improving your knowledge of business and management, as well as your knowledge of business techniques and management strategies. You will be trained to analyze assets, understand everything involved with financial positions, interpret various profitability, and prepare audit accounts if you take the ABM strand. It is more focused on studying mathematics, which most of us dislike because it is difficult, but if you step outside of your comfort zone, you will realize that mathematics is not as difficult as you think.

What are the specialization subjects that ABM students must take?

There are nine ABM specialization subjects: Business Mathematics; Organization and Management; Fundamentals of Accounting, Business and Management (FABM 1 and 2); Business Finance; Applied Economics; Business Ethics and Social Responsibility; Business Marketing; and Business Enterprise Simulation.

Advantages of ABM track

This strand would be beneficial for those who plan to take business-related courses because it will provide them with sufficient knowledge about business management. Some of this knowledge is the fundamental concepts that they must understand in the field of business. They will be able to improve and develop their industry skills and potential.

You can explore more. You will learn more on how to manage your own business. You will have a knowledge on what business are you going to start with and how will you run your business. ABM is not just focusing on how will you manage your business, it also tackles about the payment that you are going to pay, the risks in managing business and on how for your business to be successful.

Learning that I obtained in SHS track

I became a business-minded person. I encounter and face a lot of struggles but I never give up for my dreams, I always say to myself that “You can do it". The ABM Strand track will allow you many opportunities to start and run your own business. It helps me to practice proper time management, and develop skills such as finance skills, analytical skills, and collaboration Skills for preparation in career that I will choose.

Why I choose ABM tracks?

Back then, when I am in junior High school, I used to think that will experience solving a math problem, I will encounter more numbers and more business problems. I dont like math since Elementary since it is so many numbers and a lot of analysis, but I did not let it myself to that idea, so I’d try and here I am. I’m not good in math and analysis but I always try and do my best so that I could pass this strand. And if I ever pass this strand I will be so proud of myself because I’d try and I dont have any regrets in life and I believe in my abilities and I know that time will come that I will pass this track and chaising my dream to succeed in life.

You have completed Junior High School, which is a huge accomplishment. It is up to you to make the decision. Hopefully, the information presented in this blog will assist you in reaching a final decision. It is possible for you to have a bright future. I recommend you to explore this strand since it will provide you with opportunities and direct career routes in business, accounting, management, finance, and many other fields.
