If there are bridges you have yet to walk across, mountains you have yet to look up at, airports you have yet to touch base in, souls you have yet to encounter, oceans you have yet to be enveloped in, flowers you have yet to pick... then why would you ever think that what you have already experienced is ALL there is? Eight billion people in this world, intend to meet more of them. Seven wonders of this world, set out to reach them. Conversations in your mind, plan on speaking them. Be satisfied and grateful for what you have, but feel EXCITEMENT for what else exists that you have yet to make contact with. This life is meant to be experienced to its fullest potential and once we believe that, we'll build faith within us that one day, we will be across of that potential. Hand to hand. Face to face. Heart to heart.

I would die for you" this, "I'd walk through fire for you that" what about "I'd live for you" romances? what about "I never thought I'd be worth the work it would take to piece myself together"? what about "I don't believe I'm worth it, but for you I'll try"

It's fascinating to me that you start liking something not because you really like that but because someone you love likes it.. maybe it's their favourite movie or a book or a flower, or maybe their favourite food, once you got know what excite them you start observing that more.. you won't look that flower the same way.. or start rewatching their favourite movie. You don't only like them but also what they like....yeah!

It's such a strange feeling when something comes into your life like a movie or an artist or a band or someone that just feels like it's made from the same stuff you are, it immediately becomes part of how you define yourself and it's everything you see yourself as at that point in your life and everything that you aspire to be and it's such a bizarre sensation when you discover something and you immediately feel it fill a hole inside you that you didn't know was there.

But I'll add, that there is something at the bottom of every new human thought, every thought of genius, even every earnest thought that springs up in any brain, which can never be communicated to others, even if one were to write volumes about it and were explaining one's idea for thirty-five years; there's something left which cannot be induced to emerge from your brain, and remains with you forever; and with it you will die, without communicating to anyone perhaps the most important of your ideas.

Just saw a video of a Palestinian man hugging the body bag of his killed brother in a moving ambulance. I can’t unsee the sheer desperation in his tears as others tried to pry him away from his brother, because they were in a military zone. Because Gaza is chopped to pieces and they’ve become prey within their own home. It’s moments like that that serve to remind me the Palestinians going through the thick of this have just as much humanity as the rest of us—that their pain and their suffering might be nothing more than a footnote in some western article, but that the agony they’re enduring could never be encapsulated in words. And yet western media still has the heart (or lack thereof) to downplay it, to mention it in passing, in their endless bid to humanize Palestinians as little as possible. But the footage is out there, and it speaks for itself.

I've always thought how lovely it is to be bored with someone. Not bored of them but being bored with them. Like I have nothing to say but can I quietly exist with you today? My day is slow, do you want to count the hours with me? We don't have to be interesting or entertaining all the time to keep each other company. We can just be comfortably completely ourselves. We can just be..

I had thought that going into space would be the ultimate catharsis of that connection I had been looking for between all living things-that being up there would be the next beautiful step to understanding the harmony of the universe. In the film "Contact," when Jodie Foster's character goes to space and looks out into the heavens, she lets out an astonished whisper, "They should've sent a poet." I had a different experience, because I discovered that the beauty isn't out there, it's down here, with all of us. Leaving that behind made my connection to our tiny planet even more profound.
It was among the strongest feelings of grief I have ever encountered. The contrast between the vicious coldness of space and the warm nurturing of Earth below filled me with overwhelming sadness. Every day, we are confronted with the knowledge of further destruction of Earth at our hands: the extinction of animal species, of flora and fauna... things that took five billion years to evolve, and suddenly we will never see them again because of the interference of mankind. It filled me with dread. My trip to space was supposed to be a celebration; instead, it felt like a funeral.

It's funny. When you leave your home and wander really far, you always think, 'I want to go home. But then you come home, and of course it's not the same. You can't live with it, you can't live away from it. And it seems like from then on there's always this yearning for some place that doesn't exist. I felt that, still do. I'm never completely at home anywhere.

You must train your own mind, If you are not training it every day and every evening, then someone else is. Your "friends", your lovers, your mother, your father, television, radio, SOCIAL MEDIA, the clueless cashier, the pretentious manager, the obnoxious co- worker, the critical banker, the judgmental pastor, basically anyone and anything gets in and controls you if you don't take a leadership role over your own mind. You wouldn't willingly let a thief into your house, so surely it stands to reason that you shouldn't be letting any thieving influence into your mental sanctuary. If you can learn to protect and empower your mind then your heart and your body and your energy will follow and they will be in constant celebration over your victory.

One day you will look back on this time, and all you will see is magic. You won't remember how stuck you felt, or how far behind you thought you were, or what you wished you have done differently. All you will see is that within your uncertainty was also your potential, and within your lostness was also an opportunity to be found, and within your discomfort was also a chance to see what you needed to change, and changing it was you becoming the person you were always meant to be. If there is one single thought that can comfort you in the darkest, quietest nights, please let it be this - one day, you will look back on this time, and all you will see is magic.

life is about making every day as meaningful and comforting as you can, it's not about comparing yourself to people or needing to be perfect, it's good to push yourself to be better but perfectionism can be harmful if you overdo it, you don't have to hate yourself or constantly criticize your progress or appearance to force yourself to become who you hope to be, it's good to be ambitious but not everyone works best under self- imposed strictness, harsh criticism, sometimes it takes kindness, honesty and patience towards yourself, rather than having a harsh inner voice that has a pretense of being realistic and helpful, the less you listen to it, the quieter it will become, you can be realistic and still treat yourself gently and with patience, life can be a lot more bearable when you're on your own side.

I need to move around a bit. To shuffle my surroundings. To wake up in cities I don't know my way around and have conversations in languages I cannot entirely comprehend. There is always this tremendous longing in my heart to be lost, to be someplace else, to be far far away from all of this.
