When we see caste ,there are some more socio-economic facets to it.Indian society for a very long time remained an immobile society,frogs of the well ,majority of its population for centuries hardly travelled more than few km,the state was mainly based on primary economy of agriculture and here and there local crafts mostly for local use.The formal education was hardly secular,and had a priestly hold.

The Roman trade loss was much bad for North India around I st century AD .

The Western frontier of India remained a big problem,from central asian hoardes ,though China solved this problem by erecting Great Wall of China,India could not ,the Huna invasion and then Muslim invasion played important role in further orthodoxy emerging in Indian society.
