yes girl I think it’s incredibly sexy how indecisive you are about every single decision in your life. I also love how you haven’t let anything go since you were 12. can we make out now

You can throw a tantrum and create a bigger mess you gotta pick up later.
You can rage at a god who doesnt exist to give you mercy.
Or you can keep your head up and figure out this shit situation you’re stuck in. There is no other way.

I don’t care is such a powerful attitude.
The awards show last night was nice. Epic. Epic-ally enlightening. Like hey it wasn’t that cool. It was alright. I realised i don’t really care to do this every year. I don’t really care about awards, except if they help me land a job. I guess i might give one fuck about it. For the challenge. For the shits and giggles. But not as much as two fucks. Not as much as losing sleep, not as much as hanging onto the words of seniors spouting propaganda. Never as much as not interpreting reality for myself first. I see the emptiness of it. We’re hyping ourselves up. Making ourselves believe the things we do, that pain we went through, mattered. I see the lie of it. Industries squeezing out your passion, brands squeezing out your money. People squeezing out your use to them. As much as they can get away with.
So i shall dedicate myself to taking care of me.
Not even your fam, not even your friends, not even your partner can do the job right. It should console you to hear this, because I must not expect you guys to give me all that i need. When you don’t care. It’s freeing. It all just becomes a playground. You can lose it all. You can achieve even more. Beyond what others call success. I’ll enjoy myself when it’s good. When it works. When it flows. When it’s nice. But I sure as fuck cannot count on good and nice to last forever.
This sounds like a depressing post, but in fact it’s the opposite of it. “I don’t care.” It’s powerful. For you to direct your energy to stuff that you do care about.

Kyu Sakamoto 10 December 1941 – 12 August 1985) was a Japanese singer and actor.
He was best known outside Japan for his international hit song “Ue o Muite Arukō” (known as “Sukiyaki” in English-speaking markets), which was sung in Japanese and sold over 13 million copies. It reached number one in the United States Billboard Hot 100 in June 1963, making Sakamoto the first Asian recording artist to have a number one song on the chart. He was also the first Japanese artist to have a number one single on the Australian singles chart.
Sakamoto died on 12 August 1985 in the crash of Japan Airlines Flight 123, along with 519 others on board the flight.

Wild that a murderous bloodshed is happening right before our eyes in this 21st century and the rest of the world, almost 7 billion of us, are just going about our daily lives, watching it through livestreams like it’s another sensational piece of news, no one brave nor committed nor powerful enough to do anything about it.
Wild.
But this is how the world has always been right? From small unseen tragedies to big bloody massacres. We can believe we have progressed from the babaric past, talk all about our new values of prioritizing mental health, justice, unity, freedom etc
But when it comes right down to it, it’s still every man for himself.
Prove me wrong, future generations. Please.
