Unable to keep the smile off her face, Evan rolled her eyes. She'd put that rule in place selfishly, so she wouldn't have to lose him, but it was getting harder to follow every day. "I don't know, I think I still might be more than you can handle," she shot back playfully, hiding how much those words hurt her to say.

So I've been thinking!!!! I may separate Evan and make this her own blog and put Ace and Angela on a separate one, getting rid of everyone else. I write Evan SO MUCH that it's hard to call this a multimuse blog anymore in the first place. The only thing that really stops me is how closely tied everyone's story is to one another, so I don't know. As to why I would get rid of the rest, I just don't have much muse for them. It makes me sad because I do like them as characters, I just can't get them to work with me. Much to think about, perhaps big things coming.

Having kids had always been something she'd been anxious about. If they got her powers, she'd have a hard time teaching them to use them; her own still gave her awful headaches... But she couldn't say she didn't want this.

“Come on,” the hunter sighed. “You can’t possibly not know that I’m a total disaster. Just look at my life, what I do, my relationship with Sam, it’s all practically a dumpster fire. I just can’t do this. There’s no way I could ever be ready to do this. Having a baby even with him who would be the perfect dad would be awful. I would end up accidentally ruining the kid’s life.”

Jumping a little upon hearing him speak, her mouth pulled up ever so slightly at the corner as her cheeks heated up a little. "Hey Steven," she said, a hint of amusement coloring her tone, "it's stupid, people just... I don't look tired, do I?" There was a correct and incorrect answer to this question.

“What’s a pretty girl like you doing looking so sad?” Steven remarked teasing his friend a little as he walked over. “Hey Evan.” The billionaire’s son went on to remark before taking a sip of his own drink and sitting down across from her. “I knew it was you from the second I got here. I just wanted to check on you since you seemed a little off. Did something happen?”

Gently taking his face into her hands, one on each cheek, she gave him one more kiss, unable to stop herself, "the point isn't being good at it, anyways. It's having fun," she said warmly, "we'll fix that this year. And every other year. You're stuck with Halloween as long as you want me."

"Just don't expect me to be good at pumpkin carving." Sam chuckled, placing a soft kiss on her lips in return. "Come to think of it...I don't think I've ever even carved a pumpkin or been trick or treating. We were always on the move so we didn't really have time for it."
