for me the horror of immortality isn't that you'll outlive everyone and everything you'll ever love, but that you'll outlast its inevitable decay as well. that you'll remain unchanged whilst entropy ensures that everything around you eventually fades away to nothing and is forgotten entirely by time. that your inability to change will eventually make the familiar unrecognizable and, even worse, irretrievable to you.

robotgirl who is the home to a slightly smaller slimegirl that hangs out inside of her most of the time, acting as both a lubricant, a cleaner, and a coolant to her various parts. and uhm. they become psychically linked when they're together so they're almost like one person most of the time and when they're separated from each other too long they feel weird and uneasy, the slimegirl feeling like a vulnerable prey animal and like she'll melt away into drippy goo at any moment and the robotgirl becomes slower and less flexible/graceful with her movements but also more easily irritable and overheats more easily. is this anything
