Transformers Villain Tournament

So, we're planning a fun tournament where your favorite Transformers villains will compete in a bracket!

Submissions will be open for three weeks so you can submit characters to include as contestants! Of course, they can be popular villains or minor ones. Goon sort of villains are also allowed.

We encourage specifying which version of the character you want to see so we can include them accordingly. If you don't specify it, the characters in the bracket can represent all versions/continuities of them.

If you have any questions, feel free to send them in!

UPDATE: I think it's definitely better than a lot of fucking Youtuber apology videos and seems genuine but they definitely need to take more accountability for the fact that they still said those things, and that having a bad past with someone in a community doesn't give you a warrant to treat the rest of the community poorly.

[ROUND ONE] World, Shut Your Mouth vs Some Of My Best Friends Are Autobots

A quick summary/refresher for each storyline is under the cut including TFWiki links:

World, Shut Your Mouth: this was the status-quo-reset during MTMTE, following on from Dark Cybertron: the arc where we’re introduced to Megatron as a new fixture on the Lost Light. We flash back intermittently to his trial while, in the present, Rodimus is distracted from a full six months or so of sulking about his new co-captain by the discovery of his seeming corpse floating around in space. Some Of My Best Friends Are Autobots: the second Scavengers arc, where they face off against Fort Max after being under suspicion for crimes they didn’t commit (for once); the story continues to follow them and Grimlock as they make their way around in the wake of the war ending, and they secondarily continue to try and work out what, exactly, is up with Grimlock in the first place. [ROUND ONE] The Dying of the Light vs The Ties That Bind

A quick summary/refresher for each storyline is under the cut including TFWiki links:

The Dying of the Light: the MTMTE finale (if not quite the actual last issues published before the relaunch). The cast gets kicked out and stranded by a mutinous Getaway, and the DJD show up to make their day literally the worst it could possibly be. Tarn’s here, Overlord’s back, there’s a lot of people the Necrobot has been keeping cryogenically frozen in his basement, you know the drill, this one is usually remembered. TFWiki link.

The Ties That Bind: the “third Scavengers story”. This wraps up the story between the Scavengers and Grimlock and leads into the Lost Light finale; this is where they run into Scorponok and his weird little baby, accompanied by Nickel. Agonizer sends them off to find the Magnificence and, and, and look- nobody remembers this arc for that. This is the “Scorponok is fucking pregnant” arc. Okay. You remember. It’s the pregnancy one.
