#I love presage a normal amount #It was the first exotic mission I ever soloed. Not on the first try but I started into it solo and then later run it soo many times #I went in blind and solo into every following exotic mission. Love doing that. Presage will always be special though #I was so happy when they brought it back

New event in Destiny 2 (Guardian Games 2024) means I can make a new post about 3 more Guardians who remember pieces of their past lives!

A Thundercrash main Titan that is usually more than happy to partake in property damage, won't break down the front door of a long abandoned, suburban house his patrol team found. His teammates try to look for a broken window to enter through but the Titan somehow knew that in the plant pot in the front garden, under and old hand-painted rock, laid a small key. He tried it in the door and *click* it opened. He waved at his teammates who were still outside through the window.

A Solar Warlock exploring a dilapidated pre-Golden Age shopping mall. She moves carefully from ruined store to ruined store, keeping her trusty Drang close at hand. Finding nothing of importance, she makes her way to a set of stairs in the centre of the complex, takes the first step and comes to a halt. She waits but nothing happens. She stares at her feet but nothing happens. Then, after an embarrassingly long time, she remembers about escalators and how she had just stopped and waited for a pre-Golden Age escalator. The Warlock went home that day, empty handed.

A Void Hunter that doesn't feel comfortable with empty pockets. They can't put their hands in their pockets because they need to be ready, finger on trigger at all times. In exchange it feels like something is missing or that they're forgetting something and the nagging feeling has caused trouble on missions before. The solution, if you could call it that, was actually quite simple. The Hunter took to carrying around a rock that they found on the floor. The oblong rock was smooth, flat and not too heavy. It was a nice rock. Their rock.

every now and then i am reminded that drifter was at one point canonically implied to be sleeping with rahool for access to the cryptarchy archives and i take psychic damage

so the new skimmer is INCREDIBLE, though. Is the thing. Completely changes up traversal and how you view spaces,and it's just SO. much fun.

Glad all of us immediately just went to a bunch of locations to play with our new toy. I saw like five people per map just dicking around on the skimmer. My brothers in arms 🤝

Attention Destiny Artists !!

I've just discovered an entire google drive folder with over three hundred 3d models straight from the game, both d1 and d2, completely up to date. The folder comes with a tutorial on how to get the models yourself in case there is a model you are looking for that is missing from the collective, and for all the others all you have to do is extract the .rar folder and shove one of the models into the program of your choosing ( such as blender, which is free, btw ) I cannot tell you how many things I've hesitated to draw just because I could not find a good reference.
