I've been doing research on cheats available for HLL after playing last night and being killed with very very questionable headshots. Aimbots are now a problem in HLL. After searching around the web, I found a couple websites that have them available for a small fee. Boom, aimbots, player location cheats, and others are all available. And this was from a website that was updated So, what are the developers doing to counter these cheaters? The developers are well aware that certain cheats are currently circling servers in HLL. How do I know this? I've been in contact with them about it. Simply put, they're working closely with EAC to not only try and take down those responsible for the dispersion of said cheats, but also putting measures in place to stop the cheaters in-game. I have died many many times to what seems like a random headshot or just out of the blue. Likewise, I have also performed many highly questionable headshots with varying weapons some unintentional as well as caught many enemies totally unaware of my presence. Theres a very fine line right between someone who is cheating and someone who is not. We can only hope the developers and EAC do a good job with this. There is no fine line between cheating and not cheating, its black and white. That aside, while there are cheats apparently available, the game currently uses the hit scan method of hit detection in game. Currently only sniper rifles have bullet drop so if you fire a round from a SMG, pistol, rifle etc. That's why you can head shot someone with a pistol at meters. My point is that this leads to all types of bogus deaths that seem to come out of nowhere. If you've got something obvious try to get the players info and if you can a video and shoot it over to the developers. EAC can't detect cheats from flashdrives don't count on it working. Logi-tech and Razor have several of these mice. Still works to this day. Looks like i'll be hanging up my HLL boots earlier then i'd like to if something doesn't change, it's killing it for me.
