truth  be   told     ...     it   never   crossed   his   mind.     he’d   been   a    one   man   band   for   so   long    &    when   coming   back   to   the   motel   meant   slipping   on    headphones   to   immediately   go    through    footage   ,    he’d   forgotten  that   for   the   first   time   in   years   he   wasn’t   alone.     sat   on   the  patio   ,    unlit   cigarette   resting   in   the   ashtray   as   he   swirls   his   whiskey   around   his   glass    ━    he  looks  up  at  the  sound  of   her   voice.   he’s   surprised   she’s   the   one   who’s   found  him;    penny   had   questions   always    &    delaney   seemed   comfortable   around   him   after  he  offered   up   more   bits    &    pieces  of   his   life   ,    but  georgia  was  their   resident   skeptic   &    he   wasn’t   sure   what   he   could   offer   her  that   she   would   accept   .         ❛      apologies.     m’not   used   t’havin’    company   around.      ❜        he   slid    his   glass   her   way,    he   hasn’t   taken   a    sip    &    reaches   around   his   bottle   for   another   one,    filling   it   up   for   himself.
