        “It's unlike anything I've ever heard before,” Lucy says, with a fondness in her voice that's unmistakable. They have records of music down in the Vault, most of it from before the bomb dropped. This sounds almost...new. And pleasantly so, unlike most new things she's encountered up here.         Lucy rocks back on her heels, glancing down at the standard issue Vault 33 suit she's been living and sweating in. “Oh, I've had this one for a few years. Rationing's pretty strict in the Vault, so we don't often need a new size.” It's certainly seen some better days, but most of the damage it's sustained was during her short time above ground. “I'm Lucy! By the way.” She smiles, holding out a hand for the other to shake.

" No problem, " Yumi's quick to brush it off, welcoming the other with a smile. It wasn't often people managed to sneak up on her, but music always had a way of grabbing her attention. " It's pretty good, right? " She points up to the radio tower with a proud smile. " This song's one of my favorites. "

Yumi can immediately tell the young woman is a newcomer, but it's only upon closer inspection that she notices what exactly she's wearing. " Woah, where'd you get the suit? I didn't know they sold those anywhere. "

His only reaction to their attention is to spit on the ground and turn away, but she notices his hand patting Dogmeat on the head while he waits. “He's not really a people person, you know?” She smiles, however incongruous it seems to the situation. “Anyway, I'm Lucy, and I couldn't help but notice you have some Vault tech for sale.” She points to a broken device hanging on the wall. “Specifically, I was hoping to buy that.” She's pretty sure she'll be able to get it working again.
