Summary: Ellie has tattooed a lot of people, old men, newly turned 18 year olds, things like that. But when you walk in for your first ever, Ellie swears she's never seen anyone like you.

It was quiet today in the shop as Ellie sat at her stool, setting everything else up ready for whoever is coming in next. She sighed as she placed her drawing tablet on the table next to her and heard the door open. She leaned back in her chair to see who had walked in the door. She could hear Dina talking and laughing as she finished setting up. The shop was covered in designs and cool lights to make it look more appealing, and obviously it appealed to you. Your figure stood at the front desk and was talking sweetly to Dina. Ellie walked from the back of the shop to see you leaning over to hear Dina better.

"Oh hey Ellie, this sweetheart is here for a tattoo with you today." Dina smiled at you and then Ellie. You gave Ellie a small wave and a smile before fiddling with the hem of your shirt. The way you shyly smiled made Ellie's heart stutter and miss a beat. Your hair flowed perfectly down your face and had followed your head down, hiding your features. Ellie looked at Dina as if to say;

"Bro what the fuck??! I'm tattooing her?"

Dina shushed her and she turned to you. She inhaled sharply and exhaled with a sigh. She tapped her thighs and then looked at you up and down. You didn't seem to have any tattoos visible so it was probably your first time seeing as you were standing in a nervous stance. She then spoke to you in a soft tone;

"Hey, you wanna come to the back and tell me what you want?" She beckoned you to follow her to the back of the shop. You trailed behind her like a lost puppy, your head hung low. You sat in the chair, hands in your lap fiddling with your shirt once again. She asked you what you wanted to get tattooed and where, smiling sweetly and reassuringly at you.

"Oh just a butterfly on my ankle please." You said, showing her the butterfly on your phone. Ellie nodded and drew a copy of the butterfly onto stencil paper. You laid back in the chair and you felt yourself shake slightly at the adrenaline building up in your body, your fight or flight response getting ready to run out the chair the second the tattoo gun hits your skin. Ellie sees this and places a hand onto your upper arm in comfort. You turn to her and smile nervously, sweat forming on your forehead.

"Hey, hey. You're gonna be okay, alright? If you need a break just tell me, 'kay?" She looked at you with genuine concern and you nodded frantically. She held up the gun and started outlining the stencil slowly, looking up at you every few second to see if you're okay. You had your eyes closed tightly as if you about to get a blood test or something. When the gun hit your skin, you could barely feel it. You let out the breath you didn't even know you were holding in and sighed. Ellie smiled as she finished up the butterfly on your ankle.

"All done. See? You're all okay." She patted your back as you sat up from the seat. She wrapped the tattoo and told you how to take care of it properly before sending you back to Dina to pay. You thanked them both and left with a skip to your car.

"She was pretty. Wasn't she?"

"Yeah. She was."

Hey, I'm Hazel Callahan. I was bit by a radioactive spider and became the one and only, Spidergirl. Let me show you what its all about.

I am a full-time highschooler, currently trying to study for my music course. I play the drums often, mostly by myself in my dorm room. It was a day like no other, I was just walking to my class, minding my own business when someone bumps into me as I walk by. All my sheets of paper scatter across the floor, flying in every direction.

''Oh my god, I'm so sorry!'' This person says, scrambling to say sorry to me and pick up my discarded sheets. Then our fingertips meet, grabbing the same piece of paper. I look up at her face and she's staring back at me. She quickly looks away and shoves the sheet into my hand before running away. I stand there in confusion before going back to walking towards my lesson.

Now, during this lesson, the same girl barges into the room with a ''THUD!''. We all look up at her and she's visibly stressed and upset. Mr Mayfield talks to her before asking her to find a seat. The only available one was right next to me. How convenient, right? She sat herself down next to me, and it gave me time to look at her properly (not in a weird way, ew). Her eyes had a familiar glint in them, but were downturned with sadness. Her hair flowed nicely down her head, fitting its shape perfectly. Her skin glowed in the crappy school lights and sun, making me look like a mess next to her. The class came and went faster than expected and she packed up pretty quickly, then left.

My phone buzzed in my left pocket, alerting me of a message. It was from PJ.

-''Hey Dude, Trouble downtown, you available for it?''

PJ is the only person that knows about the whole SpiderGirl thing, and keeps me updated on trouble everywhere. She's been with me since the start of highschool and has never left my side.

-''Okay, Omw.'' I text back, sneaking into a public bathroom and changing into my suit. Getting used to the suit was hard work, I gotta say. The claustrophobia hits you like a train and I was honestly so scared of getting stuck inside of it, but you get over it once you try it on a couple times. I sneak out of the bathroom and run to the nearest building to hop off from. I ring PJ through my suit.

''Hey! What's the issue?'' I ask her.

''Villains terrorising kids down by your school, a couple injured, one is currently being taken to hospital. You got it?''

''Yeah. Send me the coordinates and I'll get there as soon as possible.'' I hang up and start swinging through the city. Cars are beeping and birds are flying down low through the buildings. It takes hard work to figure out how to swing without absolutely shitting yourself either. I get to the coordinates that PJ sent me and see the madness that had unfolded. I overlook the whole scene in front of me, then I see a familiar face.

No. I can't be?

Summary: You and Ellie decide to camp out by a lake during the summer. Seems like Ellie has a fun filled night for you both.

The sun is low in the sky as you and Ellie walk down a small wooded path, followed by Joel. Ellie is talking about how people used to get to space before the outbreak and Joel is fiddling with a map, trying to help you both find your way to the lake. After a while, you both spot the lake from afar.

"Race you!" Ellie screams as she runs past you, laughing and giggling. You look back at Joel, who shrugs his shoulders and chuckles at her. By the time you start running, Ellie is almost at the lake's edge.

"Wait up!" You yell, almost stumbling as you stand next to her. She's sat down, her feet dangling off the cliff. The lake resides below, the blue water making small waves. The wind is mild but noticeable, making it perfect weather. Joel finally meets both of you there and sets the backpacks down, catching his breath. Ellie looks back and then looks up at you. She smiles before getting up and grabbing her backpack.

"This damn tent won't do I want it to!" Ellie grunts, flapping her tent around in anger. You giggle at her, finding her struggles funny. You walk up to her and take the tent from her hands, showing her how she could fix it. You then pop the tent up and it stays. Ellie looks at you in embarrassment.

"Next time, don't get so worked up. Yeah?" You say, patting her on the back lightly. She smiles and nods, putting her hands on her hips. You finish your own tent as Ellie starts creating a place for your fire. She collects firewood and places it in the middle of your two tents, racing to find more after she slams them to the ground. The sun then starts setting, the light from it painting the lake a beautiful orange and red. You and her sit at the cliff's edge, swinging your legs as you stare at the trees infront of you.

"It's so pretty tonight, hm?" Ellie says as you both stand up. You hum in response as she walks behind you. Suddenly, you feel her push your back and you fall into the water with a "SPLASH!". You rise to the water's surface to see Ellie laughing her ass off at you. You frown sarcastically at her before you see Joel sneaking up behind her. Joel then pushes her and she yells as she falls down the cliff. She hits the water and swims back up to see your face. You're uncontrollably laughing at her, trying to stay afloat. She stares at you whilst you're laughing and she swears there is an invisible halo above your head. Her brain can only point out the beautiful things about you right now, like the way the sun shined and glistened on your damp skin or the way your smile made herself grin. She swims closer and closer to you, a mischievous smirk is creeping across her face. Suddenly she's on your back, splashing around and laughing. You both splash and swim around in the lake for a while until the sun fully sets and Joel has cooked up dinner for you both on the campfire.

"Last one there is a rotten egg!" You squeal as you quickly swim to the lake's shore and start running bare foot back to the tents. You can hear Ellie groan and chuckle before splashing around and running behind you. She finally catches up and sits beside you, the side of her body pressed up against yours. She sticks her hands out infront of the fire like a child, smiling as she does so.

Sometime later, whilst Joel is snoring in his tent, Ellie drags you from your sleeping bag and out into the cold, dark night.

"What?" You ask, rubbing the sleepiness from your eyes.

"Cmon, I have something to show you."

She holds onto your hand tightly, winding in and out of the tall trees. She stops in the middle to two trees and sits down. She pats the space next to her, beckoning for you to sit. You sit down reluctantly and stare forward, waiting for her to say something.

"Do you like the stars?" She asks, her voice sounding soft and gentle.

"I love them. Why?"

She leans back and you do too, revealing a sky full of stars. You gasp in awe at the sight you're seeing, your eyes widening at the glinting sky. You turn to Ellie with a massive smile on your face, laughing in disbelief.

"How did you know about this place?" You ask, still in utter shock at the stunning sky.

"Joel took me here once. He said its where him and Tess used to stay when the infected got too much in Boston. So they would just... run away." She looks at you and back at the sky. You can tell her tone has shifted to a sadder one, and you cuddle into her side. She wraps an arm around you in comfort, and continues staring up.

"I love you Ellie." You say, looking up at her from where you're nestled into her side. She looks down and brushes the hair out your face before kissing your forehead.

"I love you too."

Nervous was an understatement to what you were feeling right now. Terrified might do it. You're standing backstage with PJ and Josie, wondering how the hell did you end up here, about to play in your band infront of the whole school. You felt like your knees were going to collapse under your weight. Sweat was dripping from your forehead and you fiddled with the hem of your shirt. PJ and Josie were fixing up their makeup and microphones as you stood with your guitar, tuning it to perfection. You peek through the curtain to see everyone sat on the bleachers, either chatting to each other or patiently waiting for the show to start.

"You'll be okay dude! Just focus on the riff, kay?" Josie says, trying to reassure you. You nod and give her a hug, smiling as she squeezes you tight.

"Hey! Sorry I'm late." A familiar voice came from behind you, one that made your stomach flip when you heard it. Hazel ran up to the set of drums and sat down. She met your eyes and nodded as a hello. You continued staring at her gorgeous face, smiling as you do so. You nodded back and smiled even more, your breathing starting to speed up. PJ noticed this and placed a hand on your shoulder, trying to calm you down. You slowed your breathing and nodded to yourself. Then cheers were heard from infront of the curtain you were currently behind. There were murmurs from your headteacher, thank you's and things like that. You can also hear PJ and Josie conferring between themselves, seemingly quite nervous. You then heard him walk off stage and the curtain rose. Thousands of eyes stare at you and you don't know what to think. You're glued to your spot as Hazel slowly starts to play her drums, signalling that I should start playing my guitar. And I do so. The song starts off a bit rickety as Hazel tries to match your rhythm, stopping sometime to look at what notes you're playing and then continuing when she knows what to do. She shakes her head and her hair goes everywhere, covering her eyeline. She manages to blow it out her face and continue copying your rhythm. Then your guitar riff comes. You look back at Hazel, looking for some source of comfort from her. She's looking back at you with a soft smile on her face. You look back into the crowd with a smile and start your guitar riff. The rows and rows of kids start cheering loudly at you as you play and you can heat Hazel cheering too.

After the show, you feel someone tap your shoulder. You turn around to see Hazel's face. She's buzzing with excitement after the show and she's got a smile plastered on her face.

"Hey!" She's breathing heavily like she's just ran a marathon. She's holding onto your hands without even knowing and she's staring into your eyes.

"Your riff was fucking awesome." She says in awe of you. She's still holding tightly onto your fingers. You blush and look down at her hands. She does the same.

"Hazel.." You say and both of your faces get closer and closer. Suddenly, Hazel's kissing you backstage with PJ and Josie watching from afar.

That wasn't so bad. Was it?
