Hello, I have a theory about Katie’s dead 

So I thought Katie Killjoy was killed by the red demon (the one who says he killed his wife) in the Helluva Boss video. Why ?

As noted in the pilot, Katie often “breaks” her neck, and you would think her death was related to a strangulation. On the wiki Hazbin Hotel (although some info is wrong) it says she slept with a lot of men.

Also during the interview, the red demon clenches his fist like he wants to strangle someone and touches his neck (well after that may just show he’s pissed off xD).

+ another coincidence but if we look at the background of the scene we see an image of Katie in the background.

So to sum it all up, one day this man discovers that his wife unfaithful to him and decides to strangle her. And that woman is Katie. What do you think ?

Oooh I like this one. I mean, it makes sense. If Katie Killjoy was married, when she was alive, I can see Angel Dust trying out No Nut November clearer than I can see her being faithful. And even though I think she’d be one to target vulnerable men she could control, manipulate and victimise I can also see her attracting someone just as toxic as she is. And the guy who hired the imps seems like he could have been that person. Not only that, I can definitely see Katie meeting her end at the hands of her husband or boyfriend. Because on her Wiki page, it says that she likes torturing others, I think she was abusive to her partners and anyone else who was close to her in life, like she is to Tom. So maybe coming home to find her cheating on him was the straw that broke the camel’s back for him, after years of torment. Causing him to completely snap and get his revenge.

I have a theory Molly has a ton a jobs, like she’s a waitress, lounge singer at a bar, an intern at 666 News, and like three other jobs plus being a driver for Hell’s version of Uber. She does this because she doesn’t want to be financially dependent on her father.

According to the wiki, Molly isn’t a demon or in hell. So I think Viv might have rewritten her entirely. But because I don’t want my only answer to be, I think this is debunked and here’s why, I’m going to vibe off this anyway. And also, on top Molly’s article is this;

So who knows what she’s going to be like when see her in the show. 

I think this is very in character with Molly. Especially the spider demon Molly we’re familiar with. I don’t think anything has been confirmed about Henroin (Molly, Angel Dust and Arachnis’s dad) except for his name. But it has been implied before that he has a poor relationship with Angel Dust and the same might be so for all of his children. Not only that, Molly and Angel Dust and have positive relationship and are very close, so Molly might have been turned against their father just from how he treats Angel alone. Either way, when it comes to her dad, I can definitely see her coming to the decision that she doesn’t wan’t her dad to have any control over her life. She could have taken inspiration from Angel Dust, who made his own way despite everything their dad said and/or did and come to the conclusion of,“You know what? I don’t need anything from him either, I don’t want anything from him and I refuse to let him put me in a position where I owe him anything.” Props to her because having most of these jobs in Hell must suck. At any time while working as a waitress, she could be harassed by some creep, who knows what kind of crazies she picks up while working as a driver and I think I’d rather go to hell myself than work under Katie Killjoy. Yet she does it all anyway for the sake of independence, that’s one bad ass lady.

Do you think Husk is a Overlord?

I think he’s powerful enough to be one but I also think there are a couple of things that could keep him from being an overlord. For one, Husk doesn’t seem to care enough. Husk doesn’t really seem care about anything and except booze, gambling and a select few people close to him, even if he doesn’t show it. He comes across to me as someone who just wants to be left alone. Someone who wants to live out the rest of his afterlife in the closest thing he can get to peace and would find fighting for power and fighting to stay in power to be a massive hassle. 

If he wanted to, I would say that he could become one, if it wasn’t for another thing on my mind. I think Husk might have made a deal Alastor at some point. Same with Nifty. I think that’s why they both seem to be at Alastor’s beck and call and why their silhouettes appear behind him when he’s shown with all the other overlords. If Husk is permanently stuck as Alastor’s lackey/minion/servant? I think that could prevent him from becoming an overlord in his own right.

Remember how alaster changed the hotels name to hazbin hotel? Well the meaning of hazbin means "no longer popular, successful or happy"

I think Alastor sees everyone who would come into the hotel as a hazbin. That word could some up every member of the cast.

Charlie is a princess her people don’t give a shit about and is seen as a total failure. 

Vaggie could be a fallen Angel (which I will get to soon). She could have been cast aside by heaven and exiled.

Angel is popular as a porn star but he isn’t respected as one. He isn’t successful because Val keeps nearly all the money he makes, to point where he barely has enough to live on and he’s certainly not happy.

Alastor is a powerful and feared overlord but he’s bored and has felt uninspired for decades. 

And the rest well...hell. That alone would make someone into a washout. 

There could another reason Alastor changed the hotels name, as proposed by youtuber, Blueraven 666

I’m going to put the video here for people to watch because I want to support this lady.

Theory: Crymini and Husk start out as like "Hey give me some alcohol." But over time it transforms into a father daughter relationship and by the end of the show they go to Heaven and never be apart as it is likely the Crymini's parents could be alive.

Aww. This one’s so sweet! I would love to see a relationship develop like this. The only thing I have to add to this is if Husk and Angel Dust end up together, Angel would take Crymini under is wing too and Crymini would end up with two dads.

Lol. If that's true, everyone would be fucked. Every arachnophobe, everyone with any phobia towards insects at all, everyone who owns any animal that can get parasites, every parent who’s kids caught headlice, everyone who’s had to use pesticides, everyone who lives in Australia, they would all end up down their for sins ranging from murder to mass genocide. And pretty much everyone else would be too. I guarantee, every person reading this has got bug blood on our hands. We’ve all got that one bug that we’d kill on sight, including me. The amount of mosquitos that have met their end thanks to whatever was on hand for me to squish them with and I don’t even live anywhere where I could get malaria or something, I just hate being bitten. Everyone would be a murderer by this logic. No wonder hell is so overpopulated.

Idk if anyone already asked this and this might be random but; what if one of the members of the Happy Hotel were to get into a new Elimination? Because about the first thing we see in the Trailer is the Execution Area and the Elimination Angels, so I feel like this is a possibility?

To be honest, I’m not quite sure how the exterminations in Hazbin Hotel work. I’ve got a few questions about it. Like, why is it an annual event? With a set date people can prepare for? If overpopulation in hell is such a big problem, why not have it happen at random and without warning? That way, more demons would be caught off guard, exposed and with out defences. I wouldn’t be surprised if another extermination happened out of nowhere for that reason. As for the Hazbin gang, I can see them becoming more involved in the next extermination. I think Charlie would open up the hotel as a shelter during the extermination and rescue as many demons as she can. Meanwhile, Alastor and any of the others who can fight would act like guards and fight off any exterminators that get too close. Although they would probably only need Alastor. I don’t think Charlie would believe in killing the exterminators, but that wouldn’t stop any of the others, or her if there were no other options and the lives she was trying to protect were on the line.  Also, on a completely random note, I don’t know how accurate this is but allegedly in one shoot out with police, Bonnie Parker (as in Bonnie and Clyde) intervened by smashing out her bedroom window and shooting at the police with a machine gun while still in her nightdress. I can imagine Angel Dust doing that. Just smash out a window, shoot up a bunch of exterminators, consequences be damned, he can deal with Vaggie yelling at him for causing damages later. And who the hell has time to get dressed at a time like this? That sounds like a very Angel Dust thing to do.

If I may ask, has anyone ever thought that the overpopulation problem may not be ‘Hell’s’ problem really, but rather the problem lies with heaven because of the fact that may have a really strict ‘who gets in quota’ resulting many souls unjustly entering hell. And the overpopulation is one of the early sings of this?

Oh yes. I’ve talked about this quite a few times. A few people have sent in theories around this idea and a while ago, when I read some posts saying Hazbin Hotel was homophobic because it had LGBT+ characters in hell and I put in my two cents in, I got comments on that post saying it could be a plot point and heaven could follow and represent the more radical, extreme and harmful side of Christianity and religion as a whole.

I’m getting more and more on board with the idea the more it’s discussed. I think the premise is really interesting and I would like to see exactly how Charlie would combat this and what solutions she would come up with.

Wait, when an episode comes out, will it be considered episode 1 or episode 2? I'm assuming it's going to be episode 1, because the pilot was just a pilot. Unless, the pilot was considered episode 1?? I'm confused lol.

Shit. Now I am too. Umm I think it will be episode 2 because the pilot pretty solid as a first episode. It introduced the plot, story and characters quite well. It could easily be rebranded as the first episode so Viv and her crew can go straight on to making the second.

Is there any chance for charlie and alastor to fall inlove to each other?

I don’t want to be a downer but probably not. There’s already a only a small chance Alastor could fall in love at all because of the reasons I listed in my last post. The chance of that person specifically being Charlie is even smaller when you take into account Charlie is already in a happy relationship with Vaggie. But hey, anything is possible in the world of shipping.

Probably not because Alastor is aromantic and Viv has stated that he has no love interest. But I have seen aro people talk about how an aromantic person can still develop feelings for some and be in a relationship. So it wouldn’t be impossible for Alastor to fall in love with someone.

is rosie in a relationship with someone

I don’t really know. I only things four things about Rosie.

1) She’s an overlord. 

2) She’s one of the weaker one’s with her power being a 2 or 3 on a scale of 1-10, according to Fautisse.

3) She’s good friends with Alastor and their relationship is quote “similar to Jack and Mary from Mary Poppins Returns.” 

4) She owns an emporium, which she ran with another demon called Franklyn, who I’m guessing was her sister due to how similar they looked, and took over it completely when Franklin was killed in the extermination. It was also heavily implied in the pilot that Rosie caused Franklyn’s death.

I think that’s all the information there is of her at the moment. If anyone else knows anything, by all means, let me an Anon know in the comments. But for now, any other information on her will be revealed in the future. So, as Rosie’s good friend would say, stay tuned folks.

So I was drawing Angel Dust for fun, and I looked at his death date, it says 1947, correct? I then go to Alastor to draw him too, and his death date in 1933, that's only 14 years apart, meaning Angel would still be alive when Alastor dies. Alastor, and is, formally a "Radio star." So wouldn't Angel know Alastor from his past life, due to them still having their memories? So technology does Angel know Alastor?

Yes. If Alastor’s show was very popular, Angel could have certainly known of him. He may have even been one Alastor’s many listeners and a fan.

Not sure if they would have actually met because they lived over a thousand miles apart. 

But just because they lived in these places doesn’t mean they stayed there their whole lives. Alastor could have visited New York at some point. Angel and his family could have visited or, more realistically, laid low in Louisiana at some point. They could have met then.

They could have also communicated with each other. Depending on the year and how young Angel was and how big a fan he was, Angel could have sent fan mail that Alastor remembers fondly but Angel cringes at now.

All of this is just speculation of course. But I'm liking this idea more and more as I think of the possibilities. 

Fun fact; Alastor is the only character in the show who kept his real name after he died. So at some point, Angel could suddenly realise he’s been staring his idol in the face.

When do you think Episode 2 will be released?

I’m not sure. I think on average, it takes about nine months to make and episode of a cartoon from start to finish.  It might take less that that for Hazbin because there were several back up plans to get the show off the ground if they couldn’t get it greenlight. So the script, storyboards, background art ect for episode 2 might already be finished and they just have to work on what’s left. However they also have a studio to answer to now who at any time decide they need to go back and change something. And covid 19 will probably hold production back if it hasn’t already. But when it was announced they did say it was coming soon so it’s probably not going to take that long. I’d say early 2021? Maybe at the very end of this year if we’re lucky.

how likely would it be to get one of my OCS in the series?

Hmm. That's a tricky one. I think I read something somewhere about Viv and her crew considering using fan OC's as background characters, with their creators permission. But I remember that post so little you probably shouldn't take my word for it. 

I've known creators avoid using other people's characters in their projects because it can lead to trouble if they're not careful. A character someone creates is owned exclusively and legally by them. Before Viv could use your OC for Hazbin Hotel she would have to acquire the rights of your character from you. She would have to get your permission and a legal agreement would likely have to be made. 

If she didn't do this, or want careful when adding any character to the show that isn’t her, she could get into a lot of trouble. Possibly situation similar to the fiasco the creators of Skullgirls went through. Basically, they were considering putting a fan made character into the game. They referenced her in a demo with the line "Take the shot, Juju" as a nod to that character and a redesigned version of her was placed in a poll, where fans could vote for the characters they wanted to be added to the game. The only problem was, they didn't do any of this without consulting the fan who created the character first. Said fan stated he wanted compensation for creating the character and somehow, this confrontation turned into a legal dispute that lasted months. And after all that, just when it looked like the rights had been obtained and Juju could finally crawl out of the pits of legal hell. The original creator broke a non disclosure agreement so the character had to be retconned entirely. 

This is the nightmare creators fear when it comes to using anything made by anyone other than themselves or their development team. Yet even after saying all that, and knowing this is why most creators wouldn't consider having fan made characters in their projects. I can see Viv and her team considering it. Both because of that post I mentioned earlier and because they have incidents like this to learn from. They probably have a very good idea on how to approach and handle obtaining character rights properly. Viv also apparently got into some copyright trouble herself about six or seven years ago. So she's probably learned what to do and what not to do from personal experience and now knows how to go about this professionally. So there's still a chance, I think? I just don't know how likely.

Not yet, I don’t think. It’s has confirmed through his Instagram though that he’s in a relationship with Valentino (Although he really should leave him, Val’s a piece of shit) so he’s definitely not straight. On his wick page under sexuality, it says, gay/bi/pan so I don’t think anyone but Viv and her team know for sure.

There will be one day Tom will get tired of Katie's attitude towards him and the news and will check in the happy hotel to redeem. So he would start saying good thing about the hotel and confront Katie. 

Ooh, he could start a rival news channel, covering the progress of the hotel the and wipe the floor with Katie in ratings. Also, Tom going up to heaven but before he goes, he says goodbye to the friends he’s made along the way then goes find Katie. Just so he can peace out in front of her and be like, “Bye. Bitch!” That, I would like to see.
