A MESSAGE FROM MCR ON THE RECENT KROQ

To all who attended the KROQ show, Firstly we’d like to thank everyone that came out to see a show and have a good time… it was a very special day for My Chemical Romance and one we’ll never forget. It was, straight up, the craziest day of our lives and we have never felt so much love. You guys made it that way. Secondly, we would like to apologize for not being able to stay and sign everything as we had promised. If we would have stayed we were told we would have been arrested… which is really no big deal. But we realized that would have solved nothing. It wouldn’t have changed the fact that the majority of you would walk away without us getting to meet you and at that point would have just been a show of bravado or arrogance.

This was not KROQ’s fault - in fact, they tried as hard as they could to make it so we could stay all night and sign… nor was it Best Buy’s fault. It really wasn’t anyone’s fault… the police wanted us out of there and there was nothing to be done about it. So… thank you for coming… if we ever get to make it up we’ll take the chance in a heartbeat. Xoxo, My Chemical Romance

PS- If anyone has a basement we can play in the city of Orange let us know…as we are banned from playing there from now on. Sweet.

i was just made aware that at one point gerard had a pfp on twitter that consisted of an inverted pink triangle?? how come i’ve never seen anyone talk about this like the implications of it all,..
