-i like to think Danny ages slightly slower as a halfa: is there any evidence to back this hc up? no: in fact there's plenty of evidence on the contrary. but I like the idea because it's both comedic and angsty and no one can stop me.

-almost gave valerie her future self from ultimate enemy's haircut but my desire to draw fluffy hair pinkie pie style won that one.

-i have some pretty good (lame) jokes to make that i am way to excited to save for the theoretcial video so here it goes: so i you know how people sometimes compare danny phantom to spiderman and spiderman is 'your neighborhood friendly spiderman'... well i put casper the friendly ghost on his shirt because Danny's 'your neighbor hood friendly ghost' >:3c also i gave him a pokeball pin on his nasa hoodie because 🎵he's gonna catch em' all (cause he's danny phantom)🎵

when the network (i presume) went to the show's writing staff and said, "love the show, but the kid's a superhero, give him a logo, we need a logo"

they clearly thought. but uhhh chief his super hero costume is the outfit he died in. we can't change it.

but they *had* to change it.

and instead of any half-dozen solutions i can think of off the top of my head (e.g. season 2 power up, take advantage of his already canonical light shapeshifting powers)

they went "okay so a ghost genie re-writes reality so he never met Sam and therefore neve rdied so Sam convinces him to die all over again but not before slapping her own home-made logo on his chest"

ridiculous. awful. love it.

The best thing about 13 was Jack and Maddie and their interaction with Danny. But what made this episode special is how it revealed to me just how similar Danny is to his parents. He got his dad's temper and stubbornness while having his mom's sharp wit. Jack and Maddie may not be perfect parents, but they raised some good kids.

It's been a while since I painted ghost king Danny. I went with the aurora borealis crown this time. Also more animation experimentation with 2d and 3d stuff.
