“Ike, you know as well as everyone else at this party that we aren’t what we used to be,” you start, “we’re us, but we’re not..us. We aren’t the same anymore.”

Ike doesn’t like this.

He knows you both just aren’t as.. you used to be. It’s different now. 

He knows that he is just as in love with you as he was before, but he’s not quite sure about yourself anymore. You used to be so happy and outgoing, but now you just seem so distant, so sad and reserved. He feels so bad, and wants to do anything to bring that smile back onto your face.

He doesn't like that you won't talk to him about it, and he wishes that he could somehow just understand why you were acting like this without you having to explain it to him. He wanted to understand.

“I know everyone else can see it too,” you start, voice cracking, “and I also know that you just don’t want to admit it, neither of us do,” your eyes begin to water, and the grip on your glass tightens,

You know you both just aren't what you used to be, but it hurts to even think about admitting that, let alone actually saying it out loud. You wish that he could just understand how you feel, because you don't have the energy to explain it to him anymore, you can barely even get out of bed in the morning, you feel so tired and drained all the time.

But he doesn't get it. He's always trying to fix things, but he's never willing to admit when they're broken.

It's starting to get on your nerves.

But it's not just Ike who's changed. You both have.

You both have gotten into arguments over the dumbest of things. You both have been less loving to each other.

“Y/N, can we please just-”

You cut him off.

"No, Ike! No, we can't just talk about this! Don't you get it?! This isn't something we can just talk about and then move on, it's not gonna be okay,” you interject, your voice raising. “You can’t honestly just sit here and expect me to magically fall back in love with you, Ike…”

The tears are coming down at a high speed.

His expression falls and you immediately feel guilty. 

“So it’s true, then? Y-you don’t love me anymore..?” He stutters out, his voice is quiet and wavering, like if he talks too loud, his voice will break.

“Do you want the truth?” You ask, and he looks back at you, hurt.

He doesn’t respond, but you know his answer.

You take a deep breath and look at him, he's looking down, fidgeting with the ring on his finger.

“No, Ike, I don’t love you anymore.”

You mutter out, looking into Luca’s eyes. The man looked shocked, a small frown on his face.

Luca Kaneshiro. He was so amazing and kind. So amazing and kind in fact, that you fell in love with him. He had everything you wanted, you could never get enough of him. And he liked you back. You had a perfect relationship for the first few years. And then something happened, something horrible.

It was like a switch flipped in Luca. He would leave the house in the morning and wouldn't come back until midnight. When he did come back, he wouldn’t speak to you. You asked him what was wrong, but he didn’t say anything. You were upset and you wanted to know why your boyfriend was suddenly so distant.

“Is this a game to you? Your version of fun?”

Luca looked at the ground and sighed. He didn’t answer, which only infuriated you more.

You let out a bitter chuckle.

“Do you tell her how much you love her as well? Does she even know who I am?”

Luca looked up, tears threatening to fall.

You shook your head.

“You’re fucking twisted in the head, you know that?” 

You snicker whilst pointing your finger at his chest.

“I hope you find peace or whatever, I hope it was worth it, because you know what? We're done.”

Luca opened his mouth but shut it quickly. He just stood there, staring at you.

You walked past him, grabbing your bag on the way.

When you got outside, you stopped.

You were about to walk out of his life forever, you were never going to see him again.

You didn’t want to.

You didn't want to see him after what he did, but it was so hard.

He was fucked in the head to do that to you. But you would willingly go through it again if it meant that he would change.

“Once a cheater, always a cheater.”

That was what your mother said, and you were never one to disagree with her.

You let out a shaky sigh and continued walking down the road.

Graduation

Kyo looks down at his desk, feeling guilty about the announcement (not that it was/is his fault). 

“I’ve been thinking about it for a while now,” he starts, still not looking up and keeping his eyes closed out of fear he’ll tear up, “I discussed it a lot with management, and a lot with Y/N.”

Kyo shows a hint of a smile.

“Out of everyone, they’ve always supported me the most. Y/N was the first I told about graduation, next was Enna, then Luca.”

Kyo finally looks up with his eyes open, his model following him.

“I’m sorry it has to be this way, but I want to follow other creative avenues; some of which I cannot complete inside of NIJISANJI EN. Don’t speculate any other reason, as this is primarily why.”

Y/N L/N [NIJISANJI EN] 🔧: WE’LL ALL MISS U KYO 🤟

Kyo lets out a soft chuckle, amused by his co-workers kindness through it all.

“I would like to say, though, don’t think because I went to Y/N that they’re the reason I am taking my leave; they’ve only been supportive. And I really cannot thank them enough.”

Kyo tries to stay as calm and collected as possible, but it was easy to tell that he was falling apart. He loves his friends, he doesn’t want to leave them at all; but it’s what’s right for him. 

And at the end of the day, that trumps all.

He may be leaving, but he won’t be leaving the amazing relationships he’s built up in his almost two years working for NIJISANJI EN as a part of ILUNA.

His efforts will not be forgotten.

No one will replace him.

“My VODs will be staying up, I will still be on the internet available for you,” Kyo chuckles, “so if you want to cancel me while I’m gone, feel free to do so. You have the evidence.”

Kyo starts laughing that beautiful laugh.

Don’t Speak

| summary ; reader planning a double homicide

“You and me, we used to be together, everyday together, always,” you start singing into your microphone.

Shu knew the song was about him.

You had broken up months ago but didn’t want to break up the band seeing as how popular the band, Luxiem, was.

And now, he was forced to sit here and play the music his ex made about him for millions of people.

“I really feel that I’m losin’ my best friend, I can’t believe this could be the end,” your eyes dart over to Shu for a half second before reverting to the crowd once again.

Luca, playing the guitar, looked at Shu and mouthed ‘This about you?’

“It looks as though, you’re lettin’ go,”

you start, before the guitar and drums rapidly kick off in the background, and fireworks are sent through the air.

“And if it’s real then I dont want to know,” you start, taking the microphone off the stand and strutting over to Shu, pulling a chair in front of him swiftly and sitting on it backwards.

“Don’t speak, I know just what you’re sayin’, so please stop explaining,”

Shu stares at you, shocked, the drums no longer playing, but the guitars tuned up, as if they were prepared.

“What’s she doing?” 

Tazumi finds himself questioning behind stage, furious at whats going on.

“They were going to stay as a group!” 

He continues yelling, although it’s drowned out by the crowd screaming your name.

Some in the crowd are appalled, and others… well…

They were eating it up.

“Our memories, well, they can be inviting - but some are altogether mighty frightening,” you stare into his soul, getting up from your chair and lifting his chin up, making him stare into your e/c eyes. 

You chuckle before you sing the next part.

“As we die, both you and I,” you sing into the microphone, before multiple gun shots fire off in the distance.

“With my head in my hands, I sit and cry,” by now, the people in the crowds are getting scared, fear taking over their eyes.

Shu was now lying on the ground with blood escaping from his stomach, an open wound taking up a chunk of his abdomen. 

And, now you had a gun - against your head.

“Someone stop them!”

Tazumi is screaming, multiple workers behind stage scrambling, dialing the authorities, medics, and some, are too scared to move a single limb.

“Don't speak, I know just what you're sayin, so please stop explainin,” you continue whilst holding the gun out to the audience, as if asking who wants to be shot first.

Your forehead glistens with sweat, having done everything in your power to block off all entrances and exits by the time this had started taking place.

Your plan was going all too well.

“It's all ending - we gotta stop pretending… who we are.”

“You and me,” your eyes dart across the whole stadium of innocent people who came to watch you tonight. 

You haven’t a hint of regret.

“I can see us dyin,”

And with a final breath, you bring yourself to spit out the last lyric of your melody.

“Aren't we?”

Then, the final gunshot sounded.
