Cicada was backburnered for a while. I stole her scalp for someone else since the red hair didn't suit her. And then I put this blue scalp on her to take pics for my Etsy shop and suddenly she seemed right. I guess she will keep it! No time for dolly stuff lately, and no energy, but hopefully soon now that I'm feeling OK.

I found these tiny sweater ornaments at At Home and I’ve been collecting them as sales/coupons allowed me to get them cheaply and I am cracking up. Can’t wait to pose them all around my tiny tree. Murphy looks cute as shit here and I love how Star’s sweater is about eight times too big for her. I didn’t even have to modify the sweaters at all--they’re just oversized enough to slip on over the feet without cutting the back or anything!

My first custom doll! An Icy doll, not a Blythe, but close enough :) She needs some neck surgery and new eyechips so her scalp is just perched on her head, hence the gap. I learned a lot making her :D She is far from perfect but perfect for me.

Her scalp is SO HEAVY! I’m gonna cut a lot of it off because it’s so thick it’s dragging her head backwards D:

Fixed my Isul Glen and his azone body! The neck broke so I took a screw and a piece of black rubber and made my own! It works marvelously and is more sturdy than before!

I just realized that with my newfound experience in sewing knits I can inexpertly but definitely sew socks. I am already feeling myself go mad with power. I understand that doll socks are priced fairly for what they are but I forever rebel against spending that much on them and they’re like my fav part of an outfit 8D I have a lot to learn tho, my back seams keep coming out misaligned. Good enough for personal use!

So I never go down the “licensed characters” aisle at the fabric store because I assumed it was all Star Wars and Dora the Explorer and Princesses and Marvel characters, but I did and holy shit. Not only did they have a ton of cute Adventure Time (which I also got; the print is exactly the right size for these sweaters), they also had FROOT LOOPS. FROOT LOOPS!!!! So I made Tasket a Toucan Sam shirt. :D I am still tweaking this pattern to my liking... needs a little adjustment in the back but I’m closing in on it.
