I realize this post is probably kinda old, but for future reference I know how to do this. You need: Your hair A bobby pin Braiding skills Hair gel (Opt: hair spray) Take your excess hair and tightly braid it. Don't worry about trying to tie it off or anything, but if you're having trouble keeping it in the braid just dampen the end. Next take a bobby pin. Shape the hair into the shape of Canada's curl and then take the bobby pin and stick it through the intersection and intertwine the pin and the hair and then (opt) pin it to your hair. Next you're going to go over it with quite a bit of hair gel or spray or both. I just use gel cause I'm too cheap to go buy spray and it works fine. I hope I was helpful!

This is kind of last minute (sorry!) but how do you think I could make a haircurl thingy if I'm not using a wig? I'm specifically doing Canada's btw.

you will need:thick wireElmer’s gluehairsprayscissors

okay, take your wire and the excess hair and begin tightly wrapping the hair around the wire. You will want to spread the Elmer’s glue along the wire as you wrap.Spray with hairspray and smooth the hair around the wire.

When you reach the end of the wire, leave a little at the end loose to give a more natural effect.

UPDATE:upon re-reading this question, I saw you would be using your real hair. DO NOT USE ELMER’S GLUE ON YOUR HAIR. DO NOT WRAP IT AROUND A WIRE. YOU WILL RUIN YOUR HAIR AND THAT WOULD BE AWFUL.Please please please do not try this on your hair. There is no way that I know of to get Canada’s curl in natural hair I’m so sorry.
