°The band founder himself is someone who either disappears after a one night stand or stays with you forever (of course if there's a chance of breakfast and alcohol he'll always stay anyway)

°Even if you don't believe it, he's a great romantic and love maker. Especially intimacy is a way for him to show love when it's not playing his guitar. That this closeness to his body means more to him than it seems he only feels safe with his beloved when you look at his past is a step forward.

°Because his past also haunts him from time to time, especially on bad days when everything seems hopeless, but it is the moments when he appreciates his loved one the most, when he feels the arms around him and the embrace before.

°Private concerts for his partner are a must, no matter if the other three are "forced" into it or not, his sweetheart deserves the best.

°Insists that during the cult time his hot flame is the chosen one. ,,Our Holy Pink Flame!" he had shouted through the street with a megaphone as his favorite walked beside him wrapped in pink.

°But even when he wasn't trying to escape from death, the devil, Bruce Willis or others, he tried to shed this "bad" side, to put away the alcohol, not to smoke and not to be violent, all for his darling.

°In the free time he has besides the band, he also likes to play tennis and dederball with his lover, which he is impressively good at.

2-D :

°Roller skate dates are a must on a sunny day or when you are at the beach. He will hold the hand of his bunny the wide smile on his lips nothing but love and joy.

°Zombie movies even though he is always a little scared are somehow his favorite movies and on movie nights when they both have time together he loves to watch them.

°Of course, small private concerts are a must when he has given his heart to someone.

°2-D loves to watch his bunny with a gentle smile on his lips while he puts his love for them into song lyrics. Whether it's just a little insider between you or your whole being 2-D builds it in.

°But besides the lyrics the others casually perform with him, he teaches his heart to play the guitar and piano. Gently guiding his darling and rewarding them with kisses.

°But of course tea time must not be neglected and if his partner is not from England he explains the importance of tea and especially peppermint tea for breakfast.

°But even in the darker moments when he has been beaten by Murdoc, injured again or something else happens to him, he is most grateful that his bunny takes care of him.

°His heart tries to help him with his painkiller problem, stays with him, takes his hand and tries to wrestle through the pain by humming his songs.

°And trips on his motorcycle every now and then to a little cafe or music store just another outing for his love for his heart.

Noodle : 

°Noodle energetic, cute and friendly a companion she met at one of her many concerts. Her cherry blossom is everything to her and a way to experience love for the first time, not love for her "family" but love for a single person.

°The guitarist, like the others in the band, insists on giving private concerts. Sometimes together with the other three to show a nice overall picture but also more often alone, the guitar mixes with traditional Japanese sounds and it becomes a special experience.

°Noodle always tried to be cheerful and cheer up her darling when things were not going well. Whether it was playing the guitar, going on a date to dance in one of the many clubs or playing chess. She knows that her partner is there for her when she is not feeling well, especially once a month, but otherwise every day.

°She just loves to ask her cherry blossom and try to teach them to play the guitar. Whether on a children's instrument or her own with the right music and Noodle's gentle instructions and songs she sings along.

°Above all, the relationship between them only grows when they travel to Japan. The country she actually came from and tried to get closer to her inner side there. They immersed themselves in the culture together and had a wonderful time.

°From trying on kimonos, the traditional Kabuki theater or eating mochi on New Year's Day. There was a lot to do together and even more love to share. In a land of endless possibilities, there were always new things to see.

°Especially when they both come back, they make soba noodles, the guitarist's favorite food, for everyone in the kitchen.

°But there are also quiet moments together cuddling and hugging and taking care of the common pet: Noodle's beloved bonsai tree.

°The band's drummer lost his heart to his cookie when he fell asleep somewhere and was woken up by the very person who stole his heart and drove away his demon.

°It was a meeting in the evening and he was talking about musk, he brought his love home just to get the number and from then on, boom, it just happened.

°A trip to an all you can eat buffet for breakfast followed by a visit to an instrument store and it was the perfect day for him and his partner.

°Because as it turned out, his cookie would love to be able to play an instrument and how could he say no. Which is why he promptly set about teaching his lover to play the drums.

°The two of them practiced together, alked, cuddled, gave each other rewarding kisses and ate cake that they had baked together.

°But even on the not-so-good days, when he thought about his dead friends, the demon or anything else that happened, he loved his sweetheart for always giving him a hug, a hand on his shoulder holding him and saying everything would be okay.

°It was a hold he needed all too often and was happy to get from his cookie, something he especially appreciated. Because no matter when, where or how, they were there for each other and that was what mattered.

°Even together or alone to help Russel, they would try to play ghost hunter and catch the demon. the main thing was that he could sleep peacefully but he usually did that without it when he was cuddling with his sweetheart.

"what was the yelling about anyway? I could hear it up in my room." you raised a question, opening the fridge door. Luckily you still had some chocolate milkshake for yesterday morning. "Murdoc and Rus are fightin', nothing big though." he sighed, taking a spatula from the holder. You came closer to see what he was cooking. Pancakes, he was making colored pancakes. The one he was currently making was pink, as the previous ones aside were blue, purple, and yellow.

"However, Yew know Murdoc. He'll fight just to fight, even if nothing happen' beforehand." 2-D acknowledged, flipping the sizzling pink dough. You took a drink from your milkshake, thinking about his words. He was being truthful. Murdoc would hit and punch Stuart for mistakes he made himself.

You sat at the kitchen table and watched the blue-haired boy cook. You loved his cooking, but he never ate his food or any food that you knew of. "Here yew go my lady." he chirped, sliding you the fresh pancakes. "I'm not gonna eat unless you do," you told him. 2-D eyes looked down for a minute as he stood in thought. It couldn't hurt. "Fine, I'll eat part of one." you smiled, and scooted over for him. “That's enough for me.”

He thought Valentine's Day was in March. Until noodle and Russel have to tell him actually February 14th.

He's so lost on what to get you like literally searching what you would like and what to do for you to show he loves you

He ended getting your favourite chocolates and flowers and taking you out to a restaurant

He ends up looking like 13 year old on a first date 😹

2-D Cuddling and Sleep Headcannons

2D is a very cuddly guy. He just is. He doesn’t get much affection (or even touch) so when he’s with you, he will capitalize on your warmth and love

He loves curling up next to you on a couch or in bed. 

Loves when you fiddle with his hands or hair. You trace the lines in his palms often and he loves the odd and slightly ticklish sensation.

He draws shapes and letters on your skin when he gets really sleepy. Mainly hearts, stars, his name, your name and ‘I love you.’ (He always traces every letter of I love you.) 

He hums to you. Period.

His go to cuddling position is resting his head on your chest. Your heartbeat is his personal lullaby (plus this means you can play with his hair) 

Is partial to being the big spoon, even though it sacrifices hair play but is is perfectly suited to allow him to play with your hands or for you to fiddle with his.

Is a very good person to sleep next to. Stays to his side when you inevitably separate from cuddling positions and take his share of the blanket and no more. But one of his limbs always has to be touching you or else he wakes up. 

Is not, I repeat NOT a morning person. He grumbles at you when you try to get up and whines when you eventually get out of bed.

His gaze follows you as you get ready for the day. You leave him with a kiss and a promise of a peppermint tea if he gets up. (Does it begrudgingly)

<GENERAL NAP HEADCANONS>

-Noodle the best sleep schedule out of all of them, and gets the most good sleep out of all of them though thats not saying much

-Even if she has a good sleep schedule she likes naps

-Though as a kid it was almost impossible to get her to nap if she wasn't exhausted, though this is not to say she didn't like to nap

-Noodle just had too much energy as a kid, but she was a kid and being in a band is exhausting so she did take naps usually after performances, recording, ect.. (In a interview they had talked about something like this but I can't remember witch one)

-But as she got older she found appreciation for them way more then when she was a kid

-Noodle is one of those people who can fall asleep almost on command lucky :'[

-Noodle tends to nap to movies

<With a S/O headcanons>

-Like I said she likes to nap to movies- and even better she likes to cuddle with her S/O and to fall asleep to a movie

-Noodle also loves falling asleep on her S/O or having her S/O falling asleep on her, because she finds having her S/O play with her hair makes it 100% easier to fall asleep, and she finds it comforting to have her S/O lay on her

-Noodle has no shame she will fall asleep anywhere with her S/O- cuz no one's gonna say shit

-She loves cuddling but if its like time to go to bed- she will cuddle till she falls asleep then in her sleep she will most likely drift to her side of bed kicking you plenty of times in the process

-She shifts a lot in her sleep with has caused a lot of problems- especially if she has an overactive dream- cuz she will karate chop you in the head or kick you in your stomach

-This doesn't really happen when you two nap together

2D

<GENERAL NAP HEADCANONS>

-While 2D gets the second most amount of sleep- he arguably has one of the worst schedules

-He is a heavy sleeper but he has a hard time sleeping in consecutive amounts of time

-This is mostly due to his migraines, he will wake up at the ass crack of dawn with the worst migraines- migraines that make it nearly impossible to fall back asleep no matter how many pain killers he takes

-So he does some some shit, like writing music, playing a videogame, or watching a zombie movie

-2D at one point in time he used to play instruments when this happens but Mudroc was drunk and near by and so happened to hear 2D playing a bit to loud for his liking- which resulted in Murdoc getting pissed and hitting 2D in the head making his migraine 10x worse (This was when they lived in the original Kong Studios)

-So instead of sleeping continously throughout the night- he tries to sleeps a bit during the night, and then just naps continously throughout the day

-Though eventually he tells his mom and he gets put on sleeping meds in the later phases (sometime after plastic beach) which makes him more peppy

-He still takes naps every once in a while, and he is still an incredibly heavy sleeper

-He smokes a Iot more before going to bed, both weed and cigarettes

<With a S/O headcanons>

-This lanky boi becomes strangely strong in his sleep occasionally

-His arms firmly hold his S/O to his body or he's just sprawled on top of his S/O

-Either way he wants to be touching his S/O in his sleep- but he does role away sometimes but will role back eventually

-He's incredibly unpredictable in his sleep- one night he may stay stil as a bored and another he may be rolling himself off the bed... so be careful, 2D's S/O has woken up with 2D's foot in their face many of times

-2D feels incredibly guilty if he wakes up his S/O when he wakes up in the middle of the night because he has a migraine

-But having a S/O that could comfort him when he has one of his mibble of the night migrains, makes him feel better

Russel

<GENERAL NAP HEADCANONS>

-Russel hardly ever naps

-Russel tries to have a consistent sleep schedule- which he achieves some what

-He tends to wake up in the middle of the night- not as often as 2D, but ever once in a while he'll wake up but won't be able to fall back asleep, so he'll will just sit in bed disgruntled

-Also he's not one of those people who can fall asleep on command

-He takes sleeping meds, he has been taking sleeping meds- like before he joind Gorillaz but he did start taking stronger meds when he joined

-When Russel does get sleep he gets pretty shitty sleep but he pushes through the day

-Even if he wanted to nap- no one IN THIS DAMN HOUSE WILL LET HIM SLEEP(this is when they lived in the original Kong Studios)

-He's either making beats, taking care of Noodle, chores, ect.. all you need to know is that he's busy

-But if we're talking phase 7 Russel- OMG he is a total fucking insomniac- he's to busy with the static, he has to hit his own leg to keep himself from passing out sometimes

-Also Noodle crawled into bed with him whenever she had a nightmare when she was a kid- she also did this with 2D but it didn't work out as much due to 2D's sleeping problems

<With a S/O headcanons>

-Russel is way more likely to take naps if he has a S/O that takes naps

For many of reasons- if his S/O is naping and he naps with them it doesn't feel like he's being as unproductive because he will be spending time with his S/O

-Russel likes to cuddle but prefers to not cuddle in when sleeping at night due to the fact he sweats a lot- and just has a higher body temperature, so cuddle can make his already high body temperature higher and make him feel uncomfortable

-Though having his S/O in bed with him does improve his sleep due to the fact having his S/O around him in most cases makes him feel more relaxed

-When Russel and His S/O cuddle he will sometimes pass out sheerly because he is just so tired

Murdoc

<GENERAL NAP HEADCANONS>

-My fucking god... this man- this fucking gremlin of a man has one of the most janky ass fucking sleep schedule- at this point can you even call it a 'schedule' with how inconsistent it is

-But that mostly only applies to pre-plastic beach

-When Murdoc becomes the old man he now is, his sleep schedule mellows out

-But before that he tends to go out and drink most of the night- come home absolutely crunked or tripping balls and would pass out somewhere random- often in the middle of the house what a great role modle

-And much like 2D he will take naps throughout the day- all various in lengths- but he usually gets pissed at 2D when 2D does the weird nap schedule thing

-But like I said, in later phases he fixes his sleep up a bit- but that doesn't mean he doesn't take naps anymore-

-Now Murdoc doesn't just take naps because he's drunk or high- but also because he's an old man now

<With a S/O headcanons>

-Murdoc's definition of nap before his S/O was just passing out because he was fucked up, but when he got a S/O who forced helped him to fix his sleep schedule- he realized he was not exactly right

-Now he passes out on his bed or the couch and not the kitchen floor

-If you are able to get this man to go to bed at night with out any form fo alcohol or medicine I commend you, for you have done the impossible

-But on a more serious note Murdoc will do a lot to avoid going to bed at night- especially when he's sober

-He hates the nightmares, the nightmares that remind him of his past- and what made him.... he hates it

-So it takes a lot of comforting on his S/O's side to get him into bed

-And Murdoc's S/O has to be ready to wake up and comfort him when he wakes up from a shitty dream- cuz its either that or he goes back to the bottle

you scooted closer to him, and you laid your head on his shoulder, looking at the lit candles.

the whole time you both were together you both stayed silent, but that didn’t matter, you were both enjoying each other’s presence. simply just two lovers, their presence relaxing each other.

as your head was on his shoulder, your eyes started to become heavy, and you fell asleep.

he took notice of you sleeping, and smiled at that. both of you were becoming tired, and it was late.

If/When you collab he was iffy on wether he wanted you to duet with 2D at first because he's a bit jealous

But he can't argue with what sounds good, and the voice of his amazing S/O, and the voice of the singer in HIS BAND is something that is he needs for his next album

Murdoc will always talk about how he could go solo too if he wanted to, once he learned his S/O was a solo act

If he drinks too much when you guys are hanging out he will start singing himself, and encouraging his S/O to sing with him

When recording he will give you as nice of criticism as he can if your not hitting the right notes or arn't in the right pitch- but satan forbit one of the others try to give you constructive criticism, especially 2D

Whenever he has nightmares about his childhood and his dad, and his S/O's around he finds it comforting if his S/O hummed to him but he won't ask you to hum to him though because he's scared that you'ed think he's weak

And if your not around when he's haveing a nightmare, he'll listen to one of your songs to calm himself down

If his S/O's a smaller and less well known singer- he will often tells his S/O how he can hook them up with good produser(even if S/O already has one) and anything that you as a smaller creator may not have access to, and will promote you sometimes like on an interview

And even if you are just as popular he can be a bit stuck up and will be like 'Yeah but, Gorillaz is little bit more popular'

While Russel was happy to collaborate with his S/O, he's the least thrilled about it in the group- as he likes to balance his work life and home life as much as he can even though its really hard to so bring his love life into work life isn't exactly thrilling for him I mean did you see how it worked out for 2D

Russel is also the most professional when it comes time to collaborate with his S/O, like I said he tries to separate home life and work life and he does this by acting professional and trying to ignore the fact he is dating the person he is working with

Whenever the bands on tour and he misses his S/O he likes to listen to S/O's music even if it's not his type of music, but he usually won't really listen to the collab music at that time because it only makes him think of work(also no one but Noodle knows he does this)

And to add on to him and his S/O's music, Russel likes to suggest his S/O's music but he's very sublet about it

Besides actually collaborating as a work thing, he likes to help his S/O with their songs, whether it be helping with lyrics, what instruments to use, or with beats- though he rarely does this as he is usually he is exhausted with making music from work

If somebody ever gives you any shit for you disability, he'll go absolutely apeshit. VEHEMENTLY defends you, like it's his last battle on earth. Even if you tell him to calm down or that it's okay and you don't care, he'll probably still keep berating the other party and have that person kicked out by bodyguards or security. He's a bit bummed that you can't listen to the music the band makes, but you insist that the vibrations of the music are wonderful in and of itself! In fact, the bass and drums are actually your favorite because they vibrate the most! This immediately puts the pep back in his step.

2D: Completely understand communication overload or when you're extremely exhausted from communicating with able-bodied people. He is completely willing to talk for you, if you'd like him to. He also tries his damnedest to learn ASL as soon as humanly possible, and even goes to Noodle for help if you happen to not be around. He's super content when it comes to quiet evenings with you just laying on his chest and feeling his heartbeat through his skin. He always gets chills when you circle your finger on his bare flesh, and giggles, Which then makes you giggle because you can feel him giggling! And then it just divulges into a giggle-fest. You're very cute together. :)

Noodle: Luckily for her, she already knew ASL before meeting you! Communicating with you is a breeze, and she's grateful for it because she adores whenever you talk about things you're interested in. Always laughs when 2D gives you both odd looks as you talk, just because she knows he doesn't mean any harm, it's just cute to see him be so confused about what you're saying. Encourages you to try messing around with her various instruments because of how you enjoy the vibrations, and lets you go absolutely crazy if you want to! Almost cried the first time she found Katsu purring on top of you, and ended up actually crying when you said it was because her purring felt good.

Russel: Funnily enough, you tend to talk more than he does! This is to say, he is not against speaking for you if you've had a long day or your hands are cramping from signing so much. You always manage to put a smile on his face whenever you ask to sit by him while he plays drums, and that smile doesn't leave until you do. He's like Murdoc in that, if anyone ever gives you any shit for being deaf he's really quick to set them straight. Probably threatened Murdoc the first time he tried introducing you to his band. -2D would very easily give in if his S/O tracked him down after he ran away and just begged a little bit, and give him puppy dog eyes- and he's melting like that wax

-But on a more serious note 2D has very sensitive skin so his S/O has to be incredibly careful when applying and removing wax because if the pain is to overwhelming for 2D it could cause him to slip into a panic attack

-So get 2D some blankets/ pillows, a cold pack, grab some snacks for him, and hold his hand the entire time

-And make sure the wax isn't too hot

-When you appy the wax he squirms, but eventually stays still, with a look oh his face that say 'I just saw a man died', and he doesn't make much sound- just little wimpers

-While he squeezed his S/O hand pretty hard when they applied the wax- 2D may as well cut off circulation in his S/O's had when removed it

-He squealed, and jumped up from where was sitting before his S/O could even remove all of the wax

-S/O had to hold 2D close when removing the rest of the wax

yip yup! ((the reason why 2D didn't clean muds hair but noodle kinda fixed up his boots is because Muds threatened to throw himself out a window if 2D touches him, saying "'es already ruined enough!!"))

He did just assume you were a kind nice person at first when he met you, but further experiences, he started to expect you might you might be a pushover, but using his logic of the people he's meant, he tried not to jump to conclusions

When you comforted him, he was genuinely touched and a sobbing mess, saying how he doesn't deserve you, like he does with almost everyone. It also made him feel so much better that you stood next to him while Russel mumbled something about how hard it was gonna be to get that super glue out of his shoes and scrubbed his hair

But when you called him out on one of his wrong doings of almost killing 2D out of fear by running into his room dressed as whale (that looked cheaply made and nothing like a whale, probably added more horror to it tbh) and tried to hold him accountable, he.. did unfortunately get upset, tried to argue and defend himself, which only lead to him storming off. After collecting his thoughts and recovering from the situation, he did have a hard time admitting he was in the wrong still, but.. it was you, he cared about you, and he was scared for you to leave him, so he did force himself to accept he was in the wrong and at least tried to understand why and how what he did was wrong, apologizing to those who he hurt first, then trying to make things up with you

2D.. he also thought you were a nice person but didn't assume you had a doormat personality, he just thought you were a good person!

Likes it when you comfort him, coming to his side when Murdoc runs into his room at the dead of night in a whale costume, scaring 2D awake and feeding into his phobia of whales. He always tries to make something for you to show his gratitude afterwards as well

Sometimes he does need a different view of things, and thats where you come in! After his attempt to get back at Muds by replacing his black hair dye with oil and putting super glue in his cuban heels, you were fast to call him out on his wrong doings, since he was the last one with the super glue, firmly explaining to him why he shouldn't have done that, giving him your point of view, and explaining the side affects of his actions

Now on some things, Russel is very open-minded and nice in his own too! He enjoyed having you around, because well.. you were nice to him!

While you comforted him and helped with cleaning up the mess 2D's most recent prank on Mudz, having to scrub his hair as firmly and aggressively yet the most careful he could be while Murdoc was practically frothing and red with anger, while you were kind enough to see what you could do about his cuban heels that he loved so much

Admittedly, Russel wasn't in his right mind at this time, as he encouraged and helped make Murdoc's whale costume. But in his defense, he though Murdoc was genuinely interested in his love for taxidermy animals, and wanted to try out a similar hobby, making paper mahshay animal costumes. At first he didn't believe you when you told him 2D got scared almost dead last night, until you informed him it was because Murdoc was in a whale costume. He broke down and explained he had part in it, apologizing immediately and running to 2D'S room to apologize to him too but tripped on the wait there because mURDOC'S LEFT HIS FUCKING REPLACEMEMT BOOTS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HALLWAY LIKE A BITCH

Noodle didn't really care about your personality, not in a bad way at all though!! she other's values actions more though, and yours.. well obviously she loved them! She thinks you only have good intent, and thats another part that drew her to you

Attempting to scrape out the Super glue in Muds shoes was a punishment for her, but also a learning moment. When you came to check in on her, she had genuinely learned her lesson! Talking about how it was wrong, how much Murdoc needs to clean his boots more, the remorse she feels because she has already found tears of his bare feet skin in it

After 2D outed Noodle with helping him with pranking him, her being the original one to put the super glue in his boots, you were so upset at her! Explaining why what she did was wrong and holding her accountable, tasking her to clean out his heels, which she did, upset at herself that she made you upset though

-Noodle Busts the door down at the sounds of both of you two screeching.

-Like I said in Noodles headcanons this is a recurring issue, so she immediately realizes what happening.

- She from there will go get a cup or piece of paper and disposes of the spider with a huff

-Russel opened the door like a normal person *ahem* Noodle...

-And he actually expected this- especially as the person throughout the years of them living together disposed of spiders, as in the old days murdoc was still grossed out, and Noodle would pick them up and tried to show it to 2D in which 2D would just pass out

-So, this is expected, and when Rus realizes his suspicions were right it was, he found himself rubbing the bridge of his nose when he was caching the spider and got rid of it.
