I'm really struggling to understand what the whole point behind this discussion is. Ok, so some of the fans are pop listeners, some don't really listen to rock aside from GVF, some were 1D fans before... And? Are pop listeners supposed to feel lesser than? Are rock listeners better? Please explain to me how preferring one music genre over another makes you intellectually inferior or superior- Are your ears, like, anatomically different, orrr? Do you receive baked goods as a present for having for listening to heavier bands? If you really think not listening to pop and instead listening to metal bands with logos that look like rotten tree branches makes you somehow superior maybe you should go to the nearest biker bar or hard rock café, find your local 40yo white dude with the crusty ass band tee he's been wearing since 1994 and tell him all about your super unique, super obscure music taste, because I promise you, your "you're a poser, name three bands" attitude is not wanted, and will not be praised, here.

Everyone knows ADHD differs between individuals. You, however, don’t seem to know that not every personality trait a person has is due to them either being or not being neurodivergent.

In this case there’s a much simpler explanation: Jake is a bit pretentious and wants to sound clever. There’s nothing that suggests he is using all those big words because of ADHD.

Oh, and claiming you’re "professionally qualified" is worth nothing on a page where everyone is anonymous. You get that, right?

This! I have ADHD/ADD and ik everyone is on different spectrums but ive also know a lot of others with adhd as well and personally they dont speak like they swallowed a dictionary. My brain moves too fast to even be considering thinking if any of those words to use when im talking and im a yapper. I have to agree its a facade/pretentious thing. Maybe theyre insecure because they apparently werent the best with school so now they feel the need to use big random words and use a bunch of run on to sound more intelligent or maybe its part of the greta fan fleet act. Idk but. And im an AP/IB straight a student, so its not like I dont know the words to use, but my adhd starts going and my mouth starts yapping and brain going a million miles a minute im not trying to throw in a bunch of big words

I dont see anyone saying “you listen to rap and gvf is the only rock band you listen to” or “you clearly came from country music before gvf” “its obvious you only listen to classical based on the way you act with rock” like ok first its like yall use pop music as an insult or something. Second have you ever jist thought people have different opinions and just because they think one day or dont agree with something being said or dont means they “clearly came from a different genre” third yes gvf is rock, but theyre not even like the sterotypical rock snd roll band. You all using your disabilities to cheat your way to barricade. Interesting. Having a disability doesnt mean you NEED barricade if you want to be in pit, if anything it makes more sense to be in the back where you have room and can get out if an emergency happens or you need help. Thats a lame excuse to me. Plus you have disability seating all around different spots in the arena. If thats the case, fuck everyone else and lets all just use our disabilities to cheat our ways to the front to get barricade when we damn well know thats not the true reason we are trying to get barricade, its because you want to the front with out having to work for it. -coming from someone with T1D, POTS and seizures. With disabilities we have to accept not everything revolves or has to change or be altered for us and what we want especially when its not a necessity- like being in pit. We dont have to be in pit, sure you can want it and want to experience it but some things just arent made for us. So if we cant wait like everyone else or accept the spot we get if it may be in the middle or back of the pit and we are using the excuse of being disabled to need barricade, especially if youve been in pit already before and didnt “need” barricade and survived… then it looks like we dont need to get pit and need to find a seat. My cousin is autistic severely, she is fascinated by rollercoaster but she also has had a head injury and cant ride them, but wants to, does that mean we need to alter roller coasters to suit her? No. Because thats no life and thats not how it works. I dont feel bad for saying this and you cant sit here and call me ableist becausee I myself disabled but im not expectant that people make everything fit to me and work around my disability or else theyre being “ablist”. Get ove yourselves. Especially when you dont even bave a severe disability that is super dangerous andd live threatening to the point you actually would need certain special accommodations. You all cant meep using your disabilities for special treatment and advantages.
