Sai likes Lifestyle shows; Kitchen Nightmares, the Amazing Race, Fuck That’s Delicious, as well as documentary or travel centered ones!

Carlos likes Experimental shows; The Twilight Zone, Black Mirror, Twin Peaks, Santa Clarita Diet, Mr. Robot, etc.

Oliver loves reality TV and dating shows; The Real Housewives, Vanderpump Rules, Rupaul’s Drag Race, Love is Blind, the Bachelor/ette, etc.

Haven likes all kinds of shows, little bit of everything style; The Midnight Gospel, Game of Thrones, How to Get Away with Murder, Breaking Bad, Rupaul’s Drag Race, etc.

Nikolas likes a few different genres: Hoarders, Criminal Minds, Abbott Elementary, The Good Place, HouseHunters, etc. Also a big fan of trivia shows like Jeopardy!

Tamás tends to favor comfort shows: Schitt’s Creek, America’s Next Top Model, Friends.

Ezra likes game shows: Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?. But also things like: Law and Order SVU, The Queens Gambit, The Sopranos, maybe even Peaky Blinders.

Jamal loves dark humor, or intense tv: Kevin Can Fuck Himself, Shameless, What We Do In The Shadows (though it’s not dark), Fleabag, The Last of Us, Westworld.

Sven likes things emotional: Modern Family, 13 Reasons Why, End of the Fucking World, Orange Is the New Black, The Leftovers, Gilmore Girls even?

Sage likes dreamy, whimsical, and trippy even: Bojack Horseman, Good Omens, Over the Garden Wall, Merlin, Pushing Daisies, Bee and Puppycat.

Washed Up Celebrity.

“You kid! You kid!” A haughty laugh rings through the concert venue, stinking of sweat and a tinge of begged for attention. “No, really Javier. The show you put on tonight was outstanding. Lucia and Manuel really come out of their shell with you on stage. The crowd loves you guys! Your band is an unlikely duo, sure, but it works.” The agent, grinning and sparkling, speaks. He has a name tag for a small record label, sure, but no one ever said small was bad. Isn’t starting small good? Especially for revivals. “So, is this an offer to do business together?” Javier quirks his eyebrow, airing out the vintage fur coat on top of a leather harness. It’s uncomfortable, sure, but it looks good. It’s dynamic, it goes with their theme. Motif. “Ah.. Listen, Javier, don’t get me wrong. La Creaturas is good, great even, the people love you! But… It’s not what we’re looking for.” The agent smiled, half-apologetic. “Haha! I kid, tío, don’t be so worried! We’ve got agents knocking from here to Belgium! It’s no harm, sí?” He grinned carefreely.

The agent in front of him, with a nametag labeled Sergio, sighed and laughed lightly. “You had me worried, Javier. It was a great show tonight! Amazing show! I can’t wait to see you on the stage again! We love you!” He called, walking off as Javier bid him farewell.

And with light laughs and exaggerated waves, Javier’s face tightens as Sergio leaves. He finds a way to dodge fans, grabbing a glass of wine on his way backstage to the dressing rooms. He locks the door.

Nine months. Nine months of gigs since the fall of als Creatura. And yes, they still have fans, but fans don’t make a label. Fans don’t make commission for travel, living expenses, hotels, tune ups, replacement parts on equipment, much less if Gaspar’s car gets another flat. He looks in the mirror, slick with sweat. “Ah, I’m so handsome. The stress will ruin my face before I even get signed!” He laughs, jaw clenched. “But that’s okay. We’re stars. We’re still stars. Even if only a handful remember us, we’re stars. Stars fall, they also rise. And who says those things can’t follow each other?” He grips his wine glass tightly sipping it. “We’re stars. The people love us. We’re better than ever, everybody’s talking.” He mumbles into the glass as he sips.. and grips.. and grips.. and cracks. A few beads of red run down his hand. “We’re stars. They love us..”

(Pick any you'd want to talk about !) What kind of dynamics do your OCs have together if/when they do meet ? Which duo/group is your favorite?

I really love how most of them don’t tend to run in similar circles, except for Nikolas, Ezra, and Tamás! They all tend to share similar values with each other, being creatures of habit, thinkers, logicians, and action versus word people. They tend to all share expectations of people, and that is, “People will say anything, but they won’t put their money where their mouth is.” By running together, they keep each other accountable for that fact. Though, they can tend to fall into echo chambers, and may make the mistake of seeing “emotional” as “Immature”.

There’s definitely things that each of them can learn from each other! It’s just a fact of: do they get better, or do they get worse?

Which of your OCs would you consider to be the most pitiful meowmeow of a character?

I would say.. Sage OR Ezra. Sage in the traditional “guy keeps making the same mistake over and over” way. Ezra but it’s played for laughs like coming into work and IMMEDIATELY getting struck with an anvil, “Too Bad That Didn’t Kill Me” way.

What 'cringe' phases, if any, have any of your OCs had ?

Sage probably was a very specific villain apologist in the “No Babe! Stop! This Isn’t You! 🥺” way. Also applies to Sven but in a more “yeah, maybe he killed someone. God forbid we do something wrong with in our lives?” bitch that is the joker. Jamal was the joker phase. “because ŚÔÇÏĒTŸ” and those really cringey like AMVs to Animal I Have Become.

Javier was a Hamilton kid. Raul was a Heathers kid. Sai was a Be More Chill kid.

I feel like Nikolas, Tamás, and Ezra didn’t have cringe phases, or buried them so deep even the FBI won’t find them.

Carlos probably did cringe fashion choices at one point, like the mustache tattoo/indie sleaze guys. Haven was a Coachella/Stay Wild Flower Child and regrets it. Oliver was a Melanie Martinez/Electra Heart tumblr girly.
