it’s not unusual to feel a little lost when someone you looked up to lets you down. it doesn’t matter if it’s been years, that you’ve moved on or no longer looked up to them even before now.

there’s hope, and there’s love, and there are better people out there in the world — ones who want to be there for you and will do their best for you.

when someone lets you down, that’s no negative reflection on you. their choices are theirs, so you don’t have to let them pull you down too.
