Maybe the first 5 years really make a difference to economic output, otherwise my order for orbital stations is I always do energy first (to fund the non-energy stations), then everything else.

Yeah I completely agree, it exposes the dust behind the curtain, when you actually do automate some of this away - I still prefer it to damaging my hand though lol. I am sure ppl can think up of more smarter ways to handle it, but having just a tiiiiiny bit more control over sectors, which is mid-level management, could help with lots of managment frustration that is common. Influence Cost : For small cost of influence you can add more systems or take a few out. Softer limit : 2 jumps away are absolutely included but you can edit in/out systems up to 6 jumps away. Game settings : Determine what range of systems you want from the initial setting screen. I get that the very old version of limitless sector control meant players just gave it half galaxy and forgot about micromanagement, and I can see why devs may not like it.
