U know it wouldn’t surprise me if Tom Cruise sees Greg as a son. If you didn’t know Tom’s adopted son is black (his name is Connor) so yeah not surprising at all if Greg reminds Tom of Connor

That's definitely a theory.

So it's more likely that Cruise see's Davis as someone who shares the same work ethic as him. He's a fresh and eager face in Hollywood - it's going to be very easy for Cruise to mold him into a household name.
