The Finals by Embark Studios – Will You Reign Supreme?
Check out my video review here: https://youtu.be/xUqiBICLJEI
The Finals is a team-based first-person shooter that was recently released by Embark Studios in open beta. Your objective in The Finals is to enter a team-based arena with two other players on your team and locate the cash box. Once you find the cash box, your goal is to take it to a cash-out machine in order to collect the money and win the game. It doesn’t matter which team retrieves the cash box; what matters is successfully cashing out before time runs out. While you hold the cash-out machine, other teams have the opportunity to eliminate your team, take control of the cash box, hack it, and cash out themselves. If the time runs out and another team is in control, you have the ability to revive your teammates. However, if all members of your team, including yourself, are eliminated, it’s considered a wipeout, and your team must wait for a respawn.
Everything in this game is destructible, meaning you can use explosives to blow through walls, knock down buildings, or smash through floors. The gameplay is best experienced with friends who enjoy teamwork, as being in the wrong team can result in teammates neglecting to revive you or pursuing their own objectives, which is not the intended way to play. There are three different character classes in the game: light, medium, and heavy. Each class has unique abilities and weapons, which you unlock as you level up. You initially start with the medium build, giving you access to assault rifles. The heavy build comes next, providing access to heavier weapons such as explosive devices and heavy machine guns. Lastly, there’s the small build, which allows for the use of sniper rifles. This build focuses more on stealth, but you can also choose to run and gun.
Every character in the game has various customization options, including trousers, tops, and helmets. As you progress in the game, you can unlock new customization options, allowing you to create a unique appearance that stands out among other players. Welcome to GreenLycan, the channel that helps you discover your next favorite game. If you enjoy my content, please make sure to hit the like button down below.
In The Finals, you have the ability to utilize explosives or explosive weapons to destroy buildings. This dynamic enables you to change the game drastically. For example, instead of climbing ropes, ladders, or the sides of buildings to access a money box, you can simply destroy a portion of the building. You can throw explosives at a wall to create a gap and jump through it. Sometimes, part of the wall will collapse, creating a slope for you to run up and enter the building. Other times, this may not happen. Additionally, you can use bounce pads to propel yourself into buildings. My team once blew through the roof to surprise our opponents, eliminating them and taking control of the cash box. Similarly, you can take out a floor to gain entry. This element of destruction adds unpredictability to every game. You never know how your opponents will attack, and even when you successfully hack the cash box, the floor might suddenly collapse beneath you, resulting in your demise. As the team in control of the cash box, you can defend it or set up traps to thwart other players attempting to hack it. You can blow out floors, walls, or even ceilings to crush opponents. These unique features make The Finals an outstanding and innovative game, setting it apart from other first-person shooters like Call of Duty, where the focus is simply on running through doorways and shooting enemies.
In addition to destruction, there are other gameplay elements to consider. Paddles can be used to quickly revive teammates. Otherwise, you can hold a button and face your teammate for a certain amount of time to revive them. Various types of grenades are available, including foam grenades, flashbangs, and others that give you a tactical advantage. The foam grenade, for instance, can be thrown into a doorway to block opponents from entering. However, if they have explosives, they can blast through the walls. It may take some time to adjust to the idea of being able to destroy objects. Initially, you may find yourself running around when you could have simply blown through a wall. However, this strategic aspect must be balanced with the ease of opponents regaining entry once a wall is destroyed. Additionally, it’s important to remember that there are multiple teams competing, so caution is necessary.
Overall, I find The Finals to be a highly enjoyable game that I will continue playing, especially when it transitions out of open beta. It offers a great team-based experience, particularly when playing with friends. Although the restriction of only having two other teammates is a minor drawback, it remains a fun and remarkable game. Despite a few server-related disconnections and occasional glitches, which I attribute to the open beta phase, I would rate this game a 7 out of 10. I hope it will improve as future updates are released. Please leave your thoughts on the game in the comments section below. Let me know if you have played it and whether you enjoyed it. Alan Wake 2 – WHAT YOU NEED To Know In Under 5 Minutes!
Check out the Video here: https://youtu.be/4M5w80pfT-4
Welcome to Green Lycan, the channel that helps you find your next favorite game. Today, we’re going to be talking about Alan Wake 2. We’ll discuss the game’s features, gameplay, and graphics. Don’t worry, this video is completely spoiler-free. It’s also a quick review, clocking in at less than 5 minutes. So strap in, let’s get started.
In Alan Wake 2, you play as two protagonists. The first one is Saga Anderson, an FBI agent. The second is Alan Wake, the protagonist from the first game and also an author. When you play as Saga, you engage in an investigation-type gameplay loop. You can discover clues and connect them on a board with strings to solve the case you’re working on. On the other hand, when you play as Alan Wake, you find yourself in a dark and eerie otherworld where survival is key. The two gameplay loops are distinct from each other, offering something new and different when you switch between them. While the stories are intertwined, you will learn this early on in the game.
It’s worth noting that if you’ve never played Alan Wake, you don’t necessarily need to play it before diving into Alan Wake 2. However, it might be a good idea to either watch YouTube videos that explain the story or play the first game to get a better understanding and clarity. That being said, the game does provide explanations within the first hour, allowing you to grasp the events of the first game to some extent, although not everything.
Alan Wake 2 introduces a few interesting elements. One of them is the presence of lunch boxes scattered throughout the game. These lunch boxes contain manuscripts, and collecting enough of these pages enables you to upgrade your weapons, ammo, and other elements. While the game has a narrative focus, it also offers an open-world experience, allowing you to explore certain areas. This exploration is particularly fruitful when it comes to finding these lunch boxes. Exploring buildings and searching meticulously can lead to discovering useful items, such as ammunition hidden in filing cabinets at the police station early in the game. So, anytime you have the chance to explore, it’s always a good idea to check inside buildings or open up objects to find helpful items to aid you as you progress.
The basic premise of the gameplay revolves around playing as Saga, searching for clues to solve cases while encountering enemies along the way. You have a gun at your disposal and a flashlight. Interestingly, monsters in the game cannot tolerate light. Therefore, standing in areas illuminated by light renders you invisible and immune to their attacks. However, if you fire your weapon at these monsters from a lit area, they will be able to spot you and make their way towards you, making the use of light ineffective. Therefore, using your flashlight can either deter enemies or expose their weaknesses so you know where to fire in order to eliminate them.
Enemies in Alan Wake 2 are unpredictable. You might think you understand how a specific enemy type behaves, only to be caught off guard when they do something completely unexpected. It keeps you on your toes and can lead to jump scares due to these unexpected behaviors. While there are horror elements, particularly when playing as Alan Wake, it’s worth noting that you have the ability to defend yourself with firearms. This aspect diminishes the horror factor compared to games where players lack the means to retaliate against the monsters chasing them. Nonetheless, the game does incorporate jump scares to keep you on edge.
Visually, the game is stunning. The graphics offer detailed environments that effectively create an immersive atmosphere. The characters’ faces and their overall design are intricately detailed and visually appealing. In terms of performance, the game runs smoothly, even on slightly older hardware like a 4060 TI.
As this is a story-based game, there isn’t much more to discuss, except for the fact that Alan Wake 2 is currently only available as a digital download. There is no physical copy option at the moment. If you enjoy collecting physical copies of games, this might be disappointing news. However, the shift towards digital distribution has become common nowadays. Maybe in the future, a physical version will be released, I’ve been GreenLycan, and I will see you in the next one.

Humanitz: Best Zombie Survival Game Ever? Find Out Now!
Check out the video here: https://youtu.be/R6N51dv7bGM
humanitZ if you’ve ever played project zomboid this is a game you’re going to love what this game is is essentially project zomboid but fully 3D and so much better from the moment I started off the tutorial to this game I was hooked and I just could not get enough of it it is a Zombie Survival game that allowed you to survive explore build scavenge hunt craft Farm fish and a lot more so with that being said strap in and let’s talk about it
From the moment that I booted up humanitZ and started playing the game, I just couldn’t get enough of it. The tutorial itself puts you in a position where you learn everything from point to point, and everything involved in this game is absolutely amazing. I am a massive fan of zombie survival games. I have played games like State of Decay, Seven Days to Die, Dying Light, Project Zomboid, Day Z, and Days Gone. All of these games are ones I absolutely love playing. But for me, the best kind of zombie survival game is the one that allows you to go around, craft things, and do what you need to do to survive. And this is exactly what humanitZ is.
This game thrusts you into a top-down open world survival situation where you have the ability to scavenge inside buildings and find things, build things, craft things, repair vehicles, fuel them up, find a building you like, and essentially board up the windows to make it safe. You can craft your own base of operations, including having things like rain collectors for water, hunting down animals for meat, cooking food, and even farming. The game even allows you to fish, though it can be a little finicky when it comes to the fishing side of things.
This game has everything you need for a zombie survival game, and it’s still in Early Access, which is saying something. And if that’s not enough to hook you into the game, then I don’t know what’s wrong with you. Also, make sure you hit that like and subscribe button because it helps me out a lot.
The basic premise of the game is a zombie outbreak that wiped out civilization. Hordes of what they call “zeeks” essentially go around attacking people and become the apex predator. Your goal is just to survive.
This game is an isometric open world survival game where you have to do everything you can to survive and fight zombies. If you’ve played Project Zomboid and liked it, you’re going to love this game. It feels like what essentially should be the sequel to Project Zomboid. It’s an open world 3D top-down survival game, and like I said, it’s still in Early Access.
When you start the game, you can customize your character. After that, you can choose to do the tutorial or skip it. The game gives you control over various settings through a menu, allowing you to tailor the game to exactly how you want to play it. Once you’ve selected your settings, you then choose your starter spawn, which gives you different starter items.
When you spawn into a location, you start off with nothing but your clothes. You have five pockets to carry items and can carry four holdables, including two large weapons and two small weapons. You can find backpacks to carry more items. Once you collect everything in the area, you can decide to make your base there or find somewhere else.
The controls in the game are simple: WASD to move, mouse for attacking and aiming, F to pick things up, and spacebar to climb or vault over objects. You have to face the object to vault over it.
Survival is a key aspect of the game. You have to manage hunger, thirst, energy, health, and temperature. You can carry both large and small weapons, but large weapons cannot be stored in your bag. Weapons can be repaired using duct tape and gun repair kits. Axes are used to chop down trees, and hammers are used for building. You can also fish and hunt for food. The game has a skill tree for leveling up and upgrading your skills.
The game features a crafting system where you can build different things to aid in your survival. Base building allows you to create a base and reinforce nearby buildings. You can also construct campfires, cooking stoves, and chemistry stations.
Combat involves using weapons to fight zombies. There is an execute button that allows you to quickly take down zombies close to you. Looting is a crucial aspect of the game, as you can gather resources from various sources like buildings, vehicles, and the environment.
In addition to looting, you can also farm in the game. You can plant seeds, water the crops, and use fertilizer to speed up their growth.
The game features a wide variety of vehicles that can be found and repaired. You can also find and siphon fuel for the vehicles.
Overall, the gameplay in humanitZ is smooth and enjoyable. If you’re a fan of zombie survival games, this is definitely one you should give a try. I’m loving the game at the moment and can’t wait to play more, I’ve been GreenLycan, and I will see you in the next one.

Operation Valor: The Thrilling Top Down Shooter You Must Play!
If you want to watch the review video check it out here: https://youtu.be/8n85MUsmnAk
I’m green Lycan and today we’re going to be talking about Operation Valor. Operation Valor is a tactical top-down multiplayer shooter that provides large-scale combined arms combat through base building and teamwork. So in today’s review, I’m going to be talking about some of the gameplay, how the gameplay works, and how the multiplayer works. We’re going to go over some of the classes and what their abilities are within the game.
Operation Valor is a tactical top-down multiplayer shooter that is squad-based and allows you to use vehicles or go out on foot. The game requires strategy and logistics, as well as base building, to succeed as a team. In a multiplayer match, every soldier matters. The multiplayer is 27 versus 27, which involves AI when other players aren’t available to play. So you need at least one player on each side to get started, but the AI will join in and start working towards the objectives.
The game features seven different infantry roles, including squad leader, rifleman, medic, support, marksman, demolition, and engineer. The squad leader is responsible for building things. They can put down a radio to build respawn points and Habs. The game plays like a domination-style gameplay where you have to take over objectives to beat your opponents. The squad leader can choose to build respawn points anywhere on the map. This allows your squad to respawn at those points and then go in and attack the enemies. However, enemies can dismantle the respawn points using shovels. If that happens, you won’t have access to that respawn point anymore, and the squad leader will have to build new ones. Building requires time, shovels, ammunition, and other equipment.
The squad leader can also build bunker-like areas and sandbags. The riflemen are the basic infantry. They have a sidearm (pistol) and a main machine gun. Their job is to take out as many enemies as they can. When someone gets down, the medic is the one who can revive them. Medics have a medic bag that allows them to revive more people. The support class is equipped with an LMG, which provides cover fire. The demolition expert has an RPG and can set mines down on the field. The engineer can repair things using a wrench. Finally, the marksman is the sniper. Each class plays slightly differently, and they are all important for working together with your squad to beat your opponents.
After completing the training in the game, I went into a match with a Twitch streamer called Mills MF, who gave me some additional information about the game. I didn’t see much of this information within the game itself, so if the developers are watching this, it might be a good idea to include it in the tutorial or make it more clear. However, it would be a great time to hit that like and subscribe button right now if you haven’t done so already.
The game itself doesn’t have a large player base at the moment, so we need more players to make it more fun. In the team I played with, we had three people on our team, and there were three on the other team, which then increased to about seven, including the developers of the game. Of course, they kicked our butts, and we lost. But if we can get 27 versus 27 matches, it will be massively fun and entertaining. However, with AI involved, due to the lack of players, they tend to just run into an area and get killed constantly without contributing much to the team. The game does have a general chat and a voice chat, as well as a text chat, so you can communicate with your teammates throughout the game.
The mini-map in the game shows where the spawn points are when you discover them, but you still don’t know where the enemies are. One interesting feature is that when you aim down sights, it gives you more accuracy, but restricts your field of view. This means you can get more accurate shots, but you might not see enemies approaching from behind. Some matches can last quite a long time, around 20 minutes, depending on the gameplay. It’s an online multiplayer game, so new players can join anytime, which can change the dynamics of the game.
The game’s player base needs to grow in order to have consistent 27 versus 27 matches without players joining and leaving. The game is not expensive, making it easy to access and enjoy. If you like top-down shooters and strategy games, I recommend giving it a try. Thank you to the developers who gave me a key to try out the game. I enjoyed it and will keep playing. I encourage you to join and help increase the player base. I’ve been Green Lycan, and I will see you in the next one.
