“What are you saying? My mom isn’t scary and my dad especially isn’t scary. I told you not to smoke.” He sighs, and crosses his arms over his chest. Stupid Deku and wanting to help all the time.

“How am I supposed to know? I’m not the one that said it!”

Oh, good, Kacchan still didn’t know about his parents cornering him when they learned they were living together.

Instead of answering about his parents, Izuku just laughs nervously. Only briefly though, because then he looked... irritated.

“Who said it, Kacchan?” there’s... a malicious look in Izuku’s eyes. Something that probably wouldn’t have been there 10 years ago.

“Woah! Kacchan! I’m not saying it’s a bad thing! It’s a good thing!” Izuku nervously waves his hands in front of him at Katsuki, glancing back at the dog, then to Katsuki again, “I’m just saying it’s like the whole parental instinct. I mean... your mom’s pretty terrifying without explosives whenever you’re in danger.” he pauses and looks away, a small, scared twitch to him, “And your dad’s like the cheerful scary. ANYWAY.” he looks to him again, thoughtful, “Why would anyone think you’re soft?”

“I’m not soft, damnit! Don’t fucking touch me.”

“That’s not what our cats think. Or our dogs.” Izuku deadpans, “I don’t think you realize how protectively violent you get of them. You almost blew up the neighbor the other day for giving the dogs something suspicious to eat.”

Izuku lets out a nervous little laugh, “Shou-chan... it’s just -- a joke. Or rather, a dad joke. I get dubbed a bunny a lot, so the joke is, that I’m still larger than your average hare. Which is a big bunny. But it’s also a reference than I’m uh... taller than most people.”

“It’s not that funny… Or I don’t get it. Lots of people are larger than the average hare… They’re overgrown bunnies.”

Izuku pouts -- and fights down a proud smile as he notices Katsuki blushing. God, Kacchan was so cute! He shakes out his hands, even though them being smacked definitely didn’t hurt -- aww Kacchan was holding back.

“Kacchan, lovers grope each other... it’s normal... and tell each other things like I just said... I can’t help it if you’re cute...”

This fuckhead!

“You’re objectifying me, and you’re groping me!” He smacks at Izuku’s hands. “I will fucking destroy you!” He’s not blushing. He’s not! It’s hot in here, making him flushed. Making him sweat.

Katsuki doesn’t blush.
