          “Hello and welcome! I am declaring today the Day of the Awareness of Aliens!” Starfire announced. She stood, arms spread, behind a table covered in a variety of Tamaranean dishes and objects. A large banner was stretched along the bottom of the table, covered with drawings of happy faces both human and alien alike. ‘ALIENS ♥ EARTH - HAPPY DAY OF ALIENS’ was written in large, pink letters.

things i’m probably going to do once i’ve finished re-watching doctor who (ten’s run, at least):

get astrid properly active

potentially add...        - rose tyler        - donna noble        - jabe OR a tree of cheem oc (purely because i really love writing aliens and figuring           out their biology / culture and i love plant people)        - maybe try putting my android oc here? he did start off inspired by the shining                   darkness novel        - on that note, maybe bring back the oc i wrote over on @cadmiumpetals but                        revamp him so he’s not so positively depressing

#doctor who ignites my desire to write ocs and i dunno why #maybe because i felt so much more creative in high school (the height of my dw obsession lol) and it brings those feelings back? #who knows! but i'd love to give ocs another go #and maybe the multi is the place to experiment with them #spark notes [ooc];

She’s already bolted out and up, throwing her sister hard against cement brick, arm twisted behind as the elder tightened her powerful grip around her sibling’s wrist.

“And you just had to come crawling back to “rescue” me, didn’t you?” She throws her head back in a laugh, her free hand grabbing a handful of crimson tresses whilst forcing a tug. “Starfire. How stupid are you, truly?” As she steps away, the grip held onto Starfire’s wrist would be used as leverage to toss the redhead clear across the room with Blackfire bolting after.

                       “You know how much I hate uninvited guests, sister dear.~”

          Starfire shrieked as Blackfire threw her around as effortlessly as one might a doll, the whole world spinning out of her control in dizzying spikes of pain. She felt her body soar---

          Why had she ever hoped for anything different?

          Panicked, Starfire only just manages to catch herself, willing her emotion to shoot her upward. She flies sharply away from her sister and spins. She would not allow Blackfire the advantage of coming from behind.

          “I could not leave you to die, sister!” Starbolts sling from each hand and suddenly she’s turning, screaming, careening toward Blackfire at top speed. They collide and Starfire slams her into the ground. Muscles strain.

          “No matter how horrible you are, how-- ughh! --cruel! You are still - my - sister!”

Emma Stone How-To….Get Your Muse Back

Ugh, there is nothing worse than losing a muse for a character you desperately love. Whether you’ve played them for a long period of time or only a few weeks, sometimes it just happens. But hey, don’t freak out. It happens to the best of us. I know it’s happened to me at least once every time I play a character, even if it’s my own. Over time I’ve practised some coping mechanisms to get me through the rough spot and they’ve often helped me to get my muse back. So I thought, why not share them with you? Below are what I tend to do when my muse is no where to be found.
