I would like to emphasize the serious need for funds in Mahmoud Qassas' case. His brother in law has quadriplegic cerebral palsy and he needs medical attention RIGHT AWAY. For months they've been in tents unable to care for him properly and without regular access to the medical care he needs to survive but right now the Rafah invasion and the destruction of local hospitals has made it completely impossible to access. He is immunocompromised and even a minor illness can nearly kill him or even cause asphyxiation. They've had so many health scares with him and taking care of him in a tent with no medical equipment is a battle everyday.

Please help them get to Egypt so his brother in law can have the care he needs.

I see comments like these, I see comments claiming the vast majority of pro-Palestine advocacy comes from Jews.

Full stop this is not true.

Palestinians have always been the leaders of our movement accross the diaspora. Remember, 1/3 externally displaced refugees in the world are Palestinian (there's 6 million of us in the diaspora!), this is due to the Nakba. The reason we have a global movement is because we were forced to the four corners of the world, ANY country but our own, since 1948 and 1967. This has always been an advantage to our movement and the reason you're seeing so much mobilization everywhere. We ARE everywhere, whether in big or small numbers. So we've always advocated for our rights in our host countries in exile.

I'm always happy to see solidarity but it should not come at the expense of discrediting the Palestinians at the center of the movement.
