It's nuts that Itchio doesn't have a way to just search your library for games, and hasn't for years now. Like I'm trying to find a button UI icon pack I used a couple years back and it's just completely impossible to find outside of manually scrolling through my entire library. Why???

A Better Name For Hit Points?

I'm wondering if I should give the health resource a different name for Extraordinary Expedition. Currently the game has the players using it as a resource for a lot of different activities than just combat. The main other way a player's Hit Points are drained are through using exploration actions, which I view as the players slowly wearing themselves down during a long expedition. I could give them a fancy new name, but I feel like more players are going to understand its a health system with the simple name of Hit Points.

#depending on the specifics of implementation not conveyed here #Heroism (if combat or a heroic narrative to exploration are the main focus) #Will (if it's mainly themed as a struggle of wanting to push forward) #Energy (most versatile for a lot of scenarios. PSA: As a queer Muslim, can I just say that we need to address both homophobia within the Muslim community AND Islamophobia within the LGBTQ+ community?

Because it sucks being viewed as a sinner and a disgrace by most of my family and many other members of my faith, but it also sucks to hear my fellow queer folks attacking Islam as a whole, when in truth, the religion preaches peace and tolerance.

If you're a cisgender, heterosexual Muslim, please remember that there are queer Muslims who are trying their best to serve Allah, just like you, and that we are not inherently any more dirty or shameful than anyone else.

If you're a non-Muslim member of the LGBTQ+ community, please remember that there are queer Muslims, and there are Muslims who are allies, and it hurts to see our religion painted as evil.

This is for the people who didn’t party in their teens and twenties. For the people who didn’t have that “coming of age” movie experience with shenanigans and revelations. This is for the people who mostly keep to themselves. Who maybe prefer things to be quieter and gentler. This is for the people who don’t feel like they belong in a culture that values loud parties and flashing lights. I see you. And you are valid.

Really though, like we've made our cities so uncomfortable even for housed people, just in an effort to hurt the homeless. Parks and beaches close at night so homeless can't sleep there. Loitering is illegal so homeless can't sleep there. No bench at the bus stop because someone might sleep on it. No overnight parking because someone might sleep in the car there.

These laws aren't even beneficial to housed populations of the city, and they purely exist out of a) hatred for the homeless and b) an attempt to make your city look "presentable" to tourists. And it just sucks all-around.

stop villanizing disabled people. stop assuming we're just being lazy. stop assuming we could be trying harder. stop assuming that we'll "feel better" in a few weeks. stop assuming that we have the same energy levels as everyone else. thanks for coming to my ted talk.

It's insane how casually the calls to end a genocide, not just the students in Columbia University but pro Palestinian views in general, are labelled as terrorists. The audacity to still publicly support Israel's actions even after the horrific bombings these last months and then turn around to say that the ones who oppose it are violent anti semites is just baffling
