I THINK you're talking about my AU, where Sarge got dishonorably discharged after being caught with Fillmore. Sorry if I'm answering the wrong thing here.

Sarge was always a straight-edge, no-nonsense kind of guy. His friends were the same sort of people. Probably high-ranking officers, with high-paying jobs, and important connections. They valued their positions very deeply, and took pride in the fact that they were Military Men. These types of people hated the counterculture: they thought it was a bunch of entitled college kids causing a ruckus. Us versus Them. Squares.

Imagine the scandal it caused when Sarge-- SARGE!!-- was caught getting cozy with one of those no-good, troublesome hippies; a male one, nonetheless! News spread incredibly quickly on the base: everyone knew within a span of days. Many thought it was just a rumor in bad taste-- after all, Sarge would never do that. The base whispered of queers and hippies and dishonorable discharge.

His friends had the power to know the truth. They saw the documents-- in fact, some were even in the room when it happened. They saw his pale, grief-stricken face; watched as he denied none of the charges. The rumors were all true. Sarge-- straight-laced, blue collar, masculine, the best soldier anyone knew; Willie Jones-- had violated code. Most were horrified. Few understood gravely, and worried about him. All were shocked.

sometimes i wish i still had my cars tiktok account because it was like a game to me. i miss posting insane shit about my au and then waking up to 34k likes and 180 comments saying "what do you MEAN this is a pixar cars fanfic." too good.

this ask wasn’t super specific, so i guess ill just go into some headcanons for them!

- fillmore takes a long time getting ready in the mornings, he has a “natural skincare routine”, takes two hour long showers, and then has to do his hair up with flowers and braids. it drives sarge insane.

- they have a garden and they both tend to it.. sarge cares way more about it than he lets on, but fill knows the truth…

- they have movie nights! sarge always puts on war documentaries or action films (nerd) and fill chooses mostly wes anderson movies or something similar.

- they have a golden retriever and a german shepherd.

- sarge lost a leg in the war and fill is hard of hearing and disabled with chronic back pain due to past circumstances and run ins with cops. sarge has a prosthetic and fill has a wheelchair! they both help each other out a lot with things.

- sarge learned asl just for fill

- sarge is white, fill is native cherokee

- fillmore is pan and uses he/they (ftm trans) and sarge is a cis gay who uses he/him

- they have matching tattoos! it’s probably something corny like two halves of a heart or something like that

- fillmore is much taller than sarge, the gentle giant aspect vs small guy who’s only soothed by his bf is adorable to me

- fillmore does most of the cooking and it is delicious, but sarge could never admit that…
