‘버마’에서 온 쏘와 죠, 토미는 어느 공장 옥상에 살고 있다. 이들은 한국에서 오랜 기간 미등록 신분으로 일하고 있다. 고된 노동이 때로는 힘들지만, 가족을 부양한다는 자부심으로 견디고, 휴일마다 마시는 술로 외로움을 달랜다. 10여년 만에 드디어, 쏘와 죠 형제는 고국으로 돌아갈 결심을 하지만 토미는 아직 그럴 마음이 없다.

Soe, Joe, and Tommy came from a land they call ‘Burma.’ They are illegal foreign workers in South Korea. Hard work worn them out, but they hold onto their lives with a sole pride; being a breadwinner for the family back home. Soe and Joe are determined to go back home finally after a decade, but Tommy is determined not to go back until he can make a flashy return with good sum of money.

요요와 나 YOYO&ME

요요를 해 온 네 사람의 친구들은 각자의 길을 걷기로 했다. 어떤 길을 선택해도 만족스럽지 않다.

Four yoyo performers went to Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2011. After 2 years, only two members of them are still performing. One of them became a office worker and the other entered graduate school.
