Spoiler but the most important thing in flower of evil is that the main character kidnaps a reporter and you think it doesn’t make sense that the guy chatted for so long after accusing MC of murder and that he’s gonna be victim no 1 cuz he’s a blockhead but actually he gets let go and they immediately start working together after the reporter literally got tortured and this also doesn’t make sense but

It does make sense because an ep later it’s revealed that they’re boy best friends. They’ve always been boy best friends. They grew up together. They’re pretty much brothers. MC could’ve actually killed him from the shit he pulled. They’re the only people who really get each other. Mr reporter almost stoned MC to death as a kid. They probably still have their old friendship bracelets. I’m literally obsessed with how they work
