I think I found a way to relieve my anger: write down diary entries (like I've always done) but in latin. The effort it takes distracts me and eventually I find myself simply enjoying the process of whining and insulting people and as a side enjoyment I use a medieval handwriting

it's so weird that ppl speak abt modern states/empires/whatever you wanna call it as permanent. even the strongest of empires fall... romans, ancient egypt. even more recent states - the ottoman empire, yugoslavia, the fall of the berlin wall, the USSR, this shit wasn't that long ago. the united states too most likely won't last forever. we'll probably be here a long time unfortunately but it isn't impossible that united states will congeal in something else in the distant future. modern borders aren't eternal. so the idea that isr*el has already been established so it has to exist forever now is ridiculous. the idea that isr*el can never be uninstated and its land never returned to the people they stole it from is what they want you to think. there are people older than the state of isr*el still alive. and a settler colonial occupier ethno state that's basically just an american military puppet isn't the strongest foundation for a nation in my humble o-pin-ion.

I love the possible easter egg from Buffalmacco of Dante and Virgilio in Camposanto, the Giudizio Universale section.

The affresco was made between 1336 and 1341, Dante only died in 1321.

Bonus note: the preparatory drawings, la sinopia, did not included Dante and Virigilio’s figures, they were added in the painting process. My professor said that Buffalmacco’s decision probably went against the will of those who commissioned the affresco.

And through this war we lost our house, my university was bombed. My whole childhood neighborhood area was completely damaged. We have been displaced to three different places in search of a safer place but unfortunately there's no safer place in Gaza. Everywhere there's bombing, everywhere is dangerous, so we are now displaced in Deir al-Balah. And me and my family lost everything, we have nothing left here in Gaza.

And my mom is very sick also, she is suffering from Lupus and because she has Lupus, she is a kidney failure patient in need of an urgent treatment and care outside of Gaza. The hospitals here is so poor and bad and the quality of her treatment is getting worse and worse because the quality of the hospitals is bad, because of the conditions of the war. So please guys, help my family, we deserve to- we deserve a decent life, we deserve to start a new beginning and deserve a new life.
