Giovanni noticed the Banzai Uniform straight away, but couldn’t exactly tell the rank of the girl from here. He didn’t think that she was above him in rank, at least he hoped. So after standing there for a bit, he decided to walk up to her and strike up a conversation.

“Uh, hey...are you alright there?” He was wearing his own uniform too.

Giovanni was alone, with the lone trees and brushes and the soft rays of the moon above to accompany him. The only intruder here was the breeze that laughed at his face for the mishap that had occurred today.

The breeze, that carried on by, and the Phantom Drifter with a growl caught in her throat.

The cool of the night did nothing to stamp out the newfound wrath that drapes around Zora with her poncho, stalking through the trees to burn out the steam that fumes from her head. Even with the shame upon failing to kill two birds with one stone, the least she can do is save her coworkers and boss the lash of aggression she’s bound to save.

Doesn’t erase the fact she’s so pissed with that rat…!

Her steps slow, though, as someone’s voice carries her right out of her thoughts, lifting her head and her thoughts away from it’s mindless rambling and ranting of wringing Ramsey’s neck. Narrowing eyes met the hotheaded juvenile from earlier, and a silence huff escapes her. Oh, of course, the kid’s still here. The stupid amulet’s gone from both of their hands, but as far as she could tell, he has no business sticking around anymore. 

Neither does she, really.

A twig snaps, and the atmosphere cracks more. Giovanni whips about in alert to the rustling in the bushes, calling out to that who dares approaches him.

And Zora Salazar steps into the moonlight from behind him.

🔆 “Wrong way, kid.”

Giovanni nearly jumped when he actually got a reply, turning to look at who had walked up. At least he was a little relieved it wasn’t that police lady from earlier. “O-oh! Hey, you’re the lady that held me at gunpoint earlier!” He spoke with just a bit of annoyance, but it soon fell away to instant curiosity as he then chimed up.

“Oh hey! How did your little hunt go? Did you get that Arson Amulet from those Vice Principals?” Yet again he misnamed it. “They were pretty tough after all, well, not for me of course. I was able to bring them down a few pegs.” And then flee when he had the chance to, though he definitely wouldn’t be bringing that up.

“But hey, I’m betting you were able to snatch it back, right? I mean you’re uh...pretty intimidating. I bet that’s why you’re out here too, heading out of town after collecting your bounty!” He smiled at the taller woman.

Empty Handed

Giovanni was doing his best just walking around the bushes and trees just on the outreach of the nearby road, leading away from Redwood Run. It was dark, and he was unfortunately alone. He had decided to leave Carcrash to get help from the police and a towing service for his car. Now that he was a wanted man and the cops knew his name, he couldn’t risk the rest of his amazing minions getting caught and brought down with him! What kind of leader would he be if he did after all?

So now here he was, alone and walking through the dirt and mud, keeping an eye out for any non-cop cars that he could potentially hitch a ride from. Then again this place was...in the middle of nowhere, and he hadn’t seen a car pass by for the last few miles. And it’s not like there was much signal for his cell phone....

Well! He had to reach some kind of civilization sometime, or find some kind of car passing by eventually! Maybe if he kept his spirits high it would help him in some way!

“Well, at least I still have my phone! Could always try to call someone else if I really need to. Ha! Not that I need to anyways.” He chuckled, talking to himself to help reassure him. Though he stop and froze, almost jumping when he thought he heard something.

“H-hey! Who’s there?!”
