idk if you’re new to the rpc but generally speaking tagging people in your starter calls is weird. if people want a starter, they’ll like the post. doing that is a great way to make people avoid you

Hey there! I'm definitely not new to the rpc, I've been writing on this hellsite since the good ol' year of 2012. My greeting posts are something I've done for years, for a few reasons.

1) I want everyone to feel welcomed, and I've heard multiple times before that some people have anxiety about liking general starter calls if their muses have never interacted before. This nips that in the bud.

2) I'm assuming everyone who follows back in the first place can see themselves interacting with my muse, or our writing styles meshing, but not many people jump right over to plotting in i.m's. I used to make individual starters for everyone who followed back automatically, but it was exhausting and simply not sustainable. This narrows down that list.

3) Things get buried ridiculously easy here (more so it seems with all these updates) so those posts ensure my starter call is actually seen. Otherwise, in my experience, say a mun is in a different timezone or our online schedules simply don't match up, the chances of them seeing it is practically none, unless they're actively checking back on my blog or happen to be online at exactly the right time.

3) This is my way of keeping on top of writing with people who are interested, and being active about it, so I don't end up with 150 followers and only 3 actual rp partners.

So if you're someone who was tagged in one of my greeters, I apologize if it made you uncomfortable. It was definitely not my intention to make you feel pressured to like/interact. I'm just here to write, have fun, and make friends, and meet people who'd like to do the same!

it’s funny how life works sometimes. it only takes a moment for her to see it. just one moment, three minds, and two goons lookin’ to cause TROUBLE. and there ain’t none the wiser but HER.  This fella is a real BABY GRAND, to be sure, but from the FEEL of their thoughts, angry and buzzin’ like bees, she’s pretty sure they’re fixin’ to do some real damage. it only takes HALF a moment for her to laugh, quicken her pace, and gently lay a hand on the clueless mans arm, RADIANT smile playing on her lips as her mind races about a million miles a minute.

i was reading all this stuff about the 20's today and i'm soooo curious about the magic community in america

like did they ever drive bc the automotive industry BOOMED then

birth control came out ( WAS THERE A MAGIC EQUIVALENT ?? WAS QUEENIE ON BIRTH CONTROL ) 

was liquor illegal in magic bars or was that just a no-maj thing ?? 

3/4ths of the american population were going to the cinema at least once a week by the mid 20's, was there a magic equivalent? ARE THERE WIZARD ACTORS, LIKE THERE ARE WIZARD BANDS? I NEED THIS INFORMATION . WHERE IS WIZARD HOLLYWOOD.  

women gained the right to vote in the 20s, but as MACUSA is ran by a woman, the magical community obviously seems to be leaps ahead in that aspect. which begs the question; why is queenie serving coffee and unjinxing toilets when she is a goddamn mind-reader and can use WANDLESS MAGIC. WHY, QUEENIE. WHY, JOANNE?  Did the Goldstein sisters always live in NYC or did they travel to Massachusetts (where ilvermorny is located )? Why do some people in America know about wizards (SS?) 

do wizards drink coffee? ( ron didn’t seem to know what it was in hp, but i assume it replaces tea for americans? ) 

why were the goldstein sisters able to transfigure fancy-schmancy dresses when the weasley’s had a bunch of ragged clothes ??? does this mean queenie and tina, sharing a brownstone in the 20s ( which seemed to be women-only, like the infamous webster apartments, which bases rent on annual income ) , didn’t have to struggle for things like fabric and lace? 

are the goldsteins actually jewish AND half no-maj or is that just gonna be a vague, kind of fanon thing, because i really wonder what it must have been like to be both during a time like that
