this is just a petty rant but f1 driver rankings even from big motorsport outlets are not rooted in reality like i remember last year and the year before when alonso was driving for alpine and was the same caliber of driver and was being paid absolute dust by the media placing him like... 7-8th on the grid. and now that he has a decent car we can acknowledge his talent again

it's so annoying to see "popular" accounts here or on twitter spread fake news or shortened out of context quotes, people don't care and won't look for what was really said because it's about someone they don't like and it fits their narrative so it must be true
