hello!! I'm very sorry I've just sorta disappeared into the void. lately I've been active on my new addition @txt-aera !! I'm kind of bad at multitasking but I swear I'll be back over here soon too once I find some balance. I also had just lost a lot of motivation and inspiration for writing in general for good a while too. so yeah, that's my little update.

At first, seeing the way Sungho was around Myungsoo didn’t necessarily ring any alarm bells. In the beginning Taewoo didn’t see it which often made him feel guilty. But even more so, it made him feel afraid. Afraid for Myungsoo.  

It starts out like this: Sungho began taking a special interest in Myungsoo and his well being. None of the other members felt particularly bothered by this to start with, the extra attention didn’t seem odd or extremely off putting. But days stretch into months and like with everything, things start to shift over time. Things started to seem more personal between Sungho and Myungsoo. Taewoo knows he can’t be the only one who sees it, but he also knows that none of them know exactly what to do or say about it either. 

Sungho was affectionate and bordering on overbearing, eyes always on Myungsoo. Habits that only seemed to ever extend to him. Something about the way Sungho always looked at Myungsoo, touched him (even with such seemingly innocent intent), made Taewoo feel twisted up inside. Something felt wrong. 

Then Sungho started to pull Myungsoo to the side some days, having private meetings, more alone time together. It didn’t feel normal. And Taewoo doesn’t really know what to do, or if his gut instinct was entirely right but something was off about Sungho. What manager got this close? Sungho was always lingering around Myungsoo. He didn’t ever really need Sungho but somehow he'd always find his way in anyway. 

For a while, Taewoo wonders if he's being paranoid. Taking these small and near inconsequential moments and piecing them together in all the wrong ways. But he can't seem to shake this feeling, unable to push it away. These were red flags, these were hidden clues. Sungho's intentions with Myungsoo seemed anything but pure and slowly but surely he was becoming more and more certain of that. 

Eventually he decides that he needs to be sure, needs some level of clarity. Otherwise what could he do besides cry wolf? And the last thing he ever wants to do is hurt Myungsoo in the process.

It was rare for him to ever be alone with Sungho. It felt foreign to him, almost uncomfortable. They were outside, waiting for the other members so they could head to a schedule. It was quiet and slightly awkward, but Taewoo was never one to shy away from breaking a silence. 

"It's cold today," Taewoo says, arms wrapped around himself for good measure.

"It is," Sungho agrees. "And the other boys are running late." 

Taewoo laughs, "well, in their defense--usually I'm the one running late. But Siwoo has the tendency to oversleep and Myungsoo has to nag him. Wonsik just takes forever."  

"Sounds like you have some chaotic mornings," Sungho comments lightly. 

"I think if it weren't for Myungsoo we'd never get anywhere at all." Taewoo says. 

Sungho chuckles, "that sounds about right." 

Taewoo looks over at him, finally deciding to pry a little bit. "You spend a lot of time with Myungsoo," he says.

Sungho nods, "ah, yeah. Just trying my best to take care of him." 

"A lot of alone time too," Taewoo adds, it’s posed casually. 

Sungho looks back over at him, "I wouldn't say it's a 'a lot' of alone time." 

"Maybe it just seems like a lot then," there's an edge to Taewoo's voice, it's unclear whether or not Sungho picks up on it. 

"I just try to help him when I can," Sungho says. He seems just the slightest bit aggravated.  

"And how much help do you think he needs?" Taewoo asks.

Sungho sighs, "I don't know," he says. His gaze is still fixed on Taewoo, brow quirked. "Is there something you're trying to get at here?"  

"No," Taewoo says, shaking his head. "No, just something I noticed. That's all." 

"I just care about Myungsoo, same as you guys," Sungho says. 

"I didn't question that," Taewoo replies. That was hardly what he was questioning. "I guess it's good you're taking care of him then." His gaze was turned away from Sungho now. 

"Right," Sungho says, still looking at him. 

In the midst of the silence that follows, the other members make their way over to them.

"I can't believe I actually managed to be ready first," Taewoo says to them as they walk over. 

"I doubt it'll last," Siwoo shoots back. 

"Alright, alright. Hurry up before we end up even later," says Sungho. Taewoo doesn't miss the look Sungho gives him as they all step into the car. 

He was right, he had to be. It was becoming even clearer now.
