This is an Update on the Generation Now - PPG world Record Flight.
Eugene Cussons (Chimp Eden Founder and Animal Planet presenter) and Tony Gibson (PPG Instructor and World Record holder f), will be attempting to set a new world distance record on PPG’s this year. The goal is to set a record of 9500km flown and doing so with a cause.
The cause is the Generation Now Campaign that is raising awareness and funds for conservation and humanitarian projects and programs.
Media
The media coverage is handled by our PR company and we have a very big TV, Print and Radio Campaign that is going to be launched in the next few weeks. Contracts are currently being drawn up and evaluated. Keep watching this space and I will let you in on who and what will be covering this trip. It is bigger than you can possibly imagine for a PPG record flight.
We are busy testing the live tracking software and video feed that you can follow us everyday on our progress as well as have a count-down of the kilometers we are flying. This live feed will only be in selected areas that we determine will be worth showing. This is going to be highlighted as areas on our map that the live tracking software will be shown. Talk is that we will send out Notifications to registered subscribers as well who will then be notified about dates that the live stream will be activated.
Eugene’s Training for this flight has started and we are now hoping the weather will play ball for us to get him into the air for the first time on his new Sponsored Nirvana Equipment. Today all the ground training, theory and tests have been completed, Now it is just the first solo flight that is standing in his way.

Hey Guys, been having loads of fun with glider training. The new machines are truly exceptional! I'll be sure to post some videos to show that it not easy at all! Tony, my fellow pilot and instructor has been taking me through the paces to make sure I'll be up to the task!

Hi Everyone! 'Generation Now' is now independent of any product producer and will relaunch its efforts under the 'Generation Now Movement'. With a new fresh look, the 'Movement for Change' will relaunch with an independent website and all fundraising and awareness campaigns being managed from under one roof. Our current campaigns are now individually branded as the 'Generation Now Movement', the 'GN Green Line Campaign' and 'GN Outpost'. In order to implement the changes the 'Movement' will no longer have a presence on the 'Brands-for-Change' website. I want to thank everyone that contributed to the 'Be Generation Now' campaign through flip flop purchases and also Brands-for-Change for their continued efforts to support product owners. I hope that all our loyal friends will continue with their support! New look, original 'Manifesto'!
